Absolutely lovely hotel and owner. Only improvement I could suggest would be making the bathroom slightly more private, due to the window and mesh above (meaning people on another balcony could hear you, and the air conditioning struggles as the heat gets in).

The room is very good. It is a typical Thai residential style. It is very clean and comfortable. It is very suitable for family travel. There are two rooms connected by two doors in the middle. When you open it, you will find a super large family room. If you are not too busy on your schedule, it will be really nice. Want to stay for two more days

4 nights at the Lanta Mermaid Boutique Hotel did not meet expectations. We had rooms with a view and then the balcony was facing a very busy road. (This road also had to cross to get to the beach and it could often be a dangerous pass). Here it was not possible to sit and have a normal conversation from 0630 AM to midnight, nor could you have the sliding doors from the room open due to noise. The breakfast was also not as expected so we decided that it was best to go out in one of the many small restaurants (along the busy street) where we could find a cheaper and better breakfast offer. Having said all the negatives, we found the hosts to be nice and helpful, the rooms were clean and nice and certainly met our expectations.

Located on the north end of the island. A great option if you need to go to the Krabi airport early in the morning. It only takes 40 minutes to get from one end of the island to the other, so I would prefer staying on this end.
The hotel was super clean, they make you take off your shoes outside of the hotel. Beautiful interior and the rooms were well-maintained. First night, I stayed in the deluxe room, which had a nice balcony facing the front. Second night I was put in a smaller room, which I would not opt for since there is barely any sunlight entering the room. This is not a beachfront property, but you can enter the beach from right across the street. The local beach is very beautiful for sunset, and not crowded at all. Just a warning, there is no elevator, and the steps are quite narrow. If you have a lot of luggage, it may be a bit inconvenient. However, overall, the property made up for the lack of elevator.

Small hotel on the main road. Very loud and busy location. Had a room facing the jungle, nice sunrise and bit more quiet on that side, you can watch and listen to the birds and other jungle sounds. The room was decent size with balcony. Netflix also nice addition.

Having separate key to enter the building is neither practical nor convenient. They only give you one key, of course, so unless you're staying solo, you need to go out and come in at the time with your companion. You cannot open the door without key even to go out. Sure it's a safety thing, but sooo annoying. I left with a feeling that they are not very flexible with customer needs, might be due lost in translation. You can rent a motorbike much cheaper from a repair and rental shop on the same side of the road, just 2min walk away towards the south.

The hotel is clean and tidy, the service is attentive, and the drinks given when we first checked in were particularly delicious. The bathroom shower is particularly powerful, with a large amount of water and stable temperature, making bathing very enjoyable. The room has a balcony for drying clothes. The double bed room is made up of two single beds pushed together with a slit in the middle, so it doesn't matter if you are not a passionate couple. The hotel provides motorcycle rental for 250 baht per day.

Had a great stay at this small hotel - well worth the value, clean and comfortable room with ample space, great service at a convenient location. Nice restaurant located right beside it selling authentic Thai food. Would definitely stay again.

A nice hotel close to the beach and local shops but also a good price! Room was cleaned daily with fresh water and they even folded our clothes which was very kind! They even added another bedside table for us during our stay, and we didn’t even have to ask!
We were on the top floor which was a bit of a walk up 3 flights of stairs, as they don’t have a lift, but we had a nice small balcony facing the forest. I think it is better to stay on the side further from the road as there would be less noise. Some parts of the hotel could be updated, like the TV and the bathroom floor flooding a bit, but overrall it was very nice :)
