Everything was great. Everyone was very friendly. The gym was better than average (dumbbells up to 50lbs, squat rack, Olympic barbell, 2x25lbs, 2x10lbs, 2x5lbs plates), but some 45lbs plates were missing. The breakfast also exceeded our expectations. Rented a scooter from reception for 250 THB/day, worked very well. Rooms were nice. We especially liked the outdoor shower. They were very clean

We had a wonderful time at Tropicana Lanta! We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, we had a pool side room and we were very happy with the service, scooter rental, room, and all the plants and landscaping around the hotel. We actually very much enjoyed the outside bathroom to our surprise, we took many night time showers under the palm trees and stars! The only thing that we got a bit bored...

This hotel is exceptional The decoration, both inside and out, is very tasteful, and the rooms are divided into very comfortable bungalows. The swimming pool is located in the centre of the complex, with sun loungers and parasols all around. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. A big bonus is the buffet breakfast with rice, pasta, omelettes, sausage, ham, pancakes, French toast, fried eggs, cereals...

I loved this place for its tranquility, design, and cleanliness. The room and bathroom were amazing as well as pool area. Buffet breakfast was alright. A bit of walk/ride to get to places, but I personally liked to be in a less hectic spot. An amazing beach just 5-10 min walk away.

A wonderful place to stay. The rooms really allow you to rest well. The showers are located under the sky. The place is quiet and very pretty with plants growing everywhere. There is a pool and a gym available. It is also possible to rent a scooter for 250 baht per day. One can also book a thai massage for 400 baht/hour. Overall a wonderful place to stay and relax!

We had a great 3 week stay at Tropicana. The rooms are super comfortable with extra large comfortable bed. Lovely pool and gardens and the staff are friendly and very helpful. I had a delivery from overseas to the reception and they took care of everything for us. Fresh water in glass bottles each day and great outdoor bathroom. Great for a short or long stay.

I had a wonderful stay at a bungalow here! Only a few steps from the pool, the ocean, the reggae bar, several restaurants, and 711! The ladies at the front desk were sweet and helpful as was Ning who owns the adjacent reggae bar - a wonderful place to watch the sunset from a hammock! The accommodation was clean and a wonderful value and I would highly recommend a stay here anytime!

We had a great stay at Lanta new beach bungalows, the staff were very helpful and the location was very peaceful but still within a good location to shops and bars. It's right on the beach, offers a restaurant and bar and massage services as well as helping out with motorbike rentals and tuktuks to get around. The Room was super good, maybe was a little bit old and need some little work done but it does a super good job. The garden view is amazing with monkeys running around. A cool family-owned hot with clean and comfy rooms that won't break the bank. Even though it's close to the street, it's surprisingly chill and quiet. The guy who checked us in was friendly and welcoming. Oh, and there's this cute little café right by the check-in area that's run by the same family.

Stayed here a few nights. It was mainly a good place except the shower was only a trickle of water. If you don't speak Thai then you will not be able to communicate.

We stayed at the resort during 15-18 October 2024. The resort is quiet and well maintained, especially the garden! There are so many types of spray in the room of which you can choose as you like. They also provide 4 bottles of water daily. The staffs are really accommodating. The restaurant and massage by the beach are available too so it’s very convenient.

I'll stay here again. It was basically perfect. They thought of everything. They even use glass bottles and provide your room with 4 bottles a day. I prefer that to plastic that can't be recycled.

We are very impressed with this story that the staff is very attentive. The atmosphere in the room is excellent, there are all the amenities, even speakers that listen to music. The beach is clean, the sea water is clear. Sit out during dinner in the hotel's restaurant, listening to the sound of the waves and music. Loved it here. Definitely have a chance to go again.

My husband and I had a lovely time at this resort back in January. The staff were all incredibly friendly and the views were incredible as well! The resort is sort of on a hill and the pool and restaurants have great views. We highly recommend grabbing a drink at the bar that overlooks the water when the sun is setting. We are here now. It's our anniversary and we wanted a special room. We booked a private pool Villa but they had given them all away when we arrived and they downgraded is to a shared pool room. We are now surrounded by screaming children. This isn't how I wanted to spend my anniversary. I'm very disappointed.

Great place to stay with kids. Really good beach front location, big pools. Emerald suite works well for 2 adults & 2 kids. It is not new hotel anymore and there is signs of wearing out. However everything works and I really recommend to stay there.

We are currently staying here, we have a gold level room with pool access. We love our room, it's large, has a lounge area, a very comfy bed and a great bath tub. The breakfast has so many options and the evening meals are a fair price. We would stay here again, however if you don't like children in your holiday resort, this is not for you.

Perfect location but lacking in other areas and surprised it is a 4 star hotel. Rooms are dated so it was quite disappointing on arrival. Aircon doesn't seem to be able to actually keep the rooms cold enough and with a baby this wasn't acceptable (we had a room thermometer with us for the baby and with the aircon on full power all day it was still 27 Celsius in our room at the end of our first day...

This was an OMG experience. The staff superb. View superb, best comfort and amazing surroundings. Be careful of the monkeys as thier habitat is close-by. Be careful not to interfere with thier natural life, never, ever, feed a wild animal, unless you have a plan to care for that animal and provide an appropriate habitat. Dogs and cats make good pets. Don't feed the wild dogs.

The rooms are stunning. Great beach and a pool right on the beach, very mellow vibe and several restaurants to choose from. A bit pricey then usual bars/restaurants, but it is a resort so to be expected. They say to look massages in advanced but I was able to snag one later afternoon on a Saturday. Yoga in the morning also on the beach was magical. Will happily stay here again.

Stayed for 5 days in April and didn't want to leave. Yes, it was almost deserted (as many other resorts in Thailand these days) but if you enjoy solitude and tranquility, that's the place for you. We stayed during off-season when the resort was not filled to capacity in one of the bungalows closer to the beach. Bungalows are really spacious and elegantly furnished. Yes, fitness room could use some more modern equipment, the a/c blowed a little loud but we loved the location, pools, beach and the attentive service and felt we had memorable stay and good value for money.

Just finished 3 night stay with the family. Quaint bungalows in amongst beautiful shady tropical gardens. Great hotel! We had a room with a fan, which actually was not an issue. The rooms are fairly basic but a great price. Close to the beach and very helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend!

Best located beach resort in long Beach area. All rooms are clean and so comfortable. Sunset view from the fat turtle beach bar, made my day. Absolutely professional servis and lovely host and owners. Next time I will be back for sure.

Wow! So, true to the name, Thai House features genuine Lanna homes brought down from Chiangmai province. Waking up here is bright and cheery, and falling asleep is quiet and peaceful. Beautiful place with direct access to the beach. Also there is a "Fat Turtle" bar restaurant overlooking the sea and lovely sunsets. The owners are like a family and the standard of the houses is very high. I recommend to everyone.

We had an amazing 3-night stay at the Thai House Beach Resort in Oct 2019. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The location is stunning beside an unspoiled idyllic beach. The food and drinks at The Fat Turtle are excellent. Special thanks to Ni and Aom for looking after us. We will definitely be coming back!
