We had to reschedule and ultimately cancel our reservation due to illness before we arrived, however, Sukan was very helpful and we appreciated the understanding. We hope to book again in the future.

The staff and service here bring a new meaning to hospitality, they could not have been more friendly or more helpful in regards to any questions or needs that we had during our stay. The rooms and grounds are delightful and you are only a 5 minute walk from the center of town while still being removed enough to feel the peace of the beautiful nature of Pai. We had two connecting rooms which was convenient. The rooms are beautifully designed and the resort is peaceful and clean. The household team is very welcoming and we loved the breakfast, which is generosly served a la carte. Location is perfect, quite, just a 3-4 minute walk from the busting center. its a bit far from Pai, around 10-15 mins by motorbike but its good value for the price you pay. the area is chill, they have a lake and the room is clean.

Hotel is the first when you come from Chiang Mai on the Mae hong son route. Village cottage setting with private parking (everyone just park outside their houses/rooms). Located at the WW2 Bridge so 10km from center. Nice quiet location with coffee and restaurant but beds were very low and old spring mattresses are saggy and uncomfortable. Room 800 baht per night. Only stayed one night due to beds being so uncomfortable and sagging.

We had a family honey moon suite for 4 persons. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. Ground floor and direct access to the pool, very nice! The whole hotel was nicely decorated, super cozy ambience. Highly recommended!

The Oia was an awesome spot for our honeymoon! The pool was amazing and our room was sizable. It was also affordable, and they offered shuttles to town if you didn’t want to walk. One of my favourite stays, ever. 1. Yes it's a 10/15 minute ride to town but that's part of the charm. The ride is beautiful and you stay next to a river, away from the cluster of the town. Go for walks, runs, hot springs, grand canyon etc. I loved my early morning and late afternoon walks, it was beautiful to see the paddy fields. Really friendly owner and wife, They suggested good places to see the views and spoke really good English. Anything we needed they helped us with. The couple who own and run this place are amazing! Seriously, the nicest hosts I've ever met. They picked us up from the bus station, arranged motorbikes for us, and made our stay absolutely perfect. Nice basic Bungalows (+-25sqm) generally clean, cosy and quiet.. (*quiet: best choose not too close to main road and its near a late noisy bar) Bathroom is large and nice Shower works fine. Toilet works so so.. They get very easily & often stucked even with 0 paper in #203 ! (Better buy or ask for a Pump) During rainy days... many mosquitos gathered at my Bathroom in #201 ! Really nice place to stay, super friendly on the reception desk. Bikes are free to hire and they provide loads of information on day trips for a good price. Pool was cool and the staff were really nice. The room was pretty cool but definitely reccomend a mosquito net, there were small gaps in the walls so a load of bugs got in :/

Mediocre stay at a mediocre spot. We were not in one of the huts but behind the entrance. It was 600 bhat a night during the high season for a room with ac. The bed was terrible, I could feel every spring in my back. We found much better accommodation in Pai for a cheaper price. Positive is its location which is very close to the walking street and river.

Absolutely love their blankets which weigh like a hug. It's in a convenient neighbourhood with convenient store and a night market despite all of which it is surprisingly calm and quiet.

Good guesthouse with spacious rooms and bungalows. Clean and tidy. Low season rate is 400 for room and 700 for Bungalow. However compared to other businesses in Pai it's already expensive. You can get a room for 200 or dorm bed for 125 at another places

Not a terrible choice for Pai, but really not great either. Rooms seemed a lot smaller than advertised. I guess the bathrooms got most of the floor space leaving a cramped sleeping area which looked little like their promotional pictures (beware the wide angle lens). This is a genuinely exceptional hotel. The rooms are beautiful, pools and grounds unique, food incredible. I wish I booked for longer. It was also walkable to some shops including a nice bakery and cafe. I didn't end up liking Pai much due to the foreigner scene, but this hotel was a bright exception.

This was beautiful! We were looking for a quiet resort getaway, and Montis came through in spades. The staff were attentive and friendly, the breakfast was opulent, the pool was gorgeous. We aren't staying here but just wanted somewhere nice to have drink and it did not disappoint. The backdrop is picturesque, it is extremely relaxed and also, unlike a lot of pai (including some of the better resorts) it is incredibly designed.

Awesome little resort on the outside of town, a little ways away from the hustle and bustle of the walking street. You'll want a scooter if you stay here but the quality of the rooms is well worth the 5 minute drive in. Be sure to get up early one morning and watch the sun rise over the mountains.

We had a good stay. The hotel is good but not that clean as it looks in the pics, air conditioner take long time to get cold the place, they don't clean up that good your room too. Shambave is a lovely little resort on the edge of Pai owned by Dirk and Noot. Although it was super dry when we got there one can see that their place is loved and the gardens must be beautiful after the rains. This place is a little gem. We stayed in the family villa with private pool. It ticked all the boxes for my family. The breakfast was fairly terrible, but you're really close to Pai town and at least 20 places to eat an excellent breakfast! Very peaceful and relaxing.

I spent a week at Shambave - quite a different one to what many people come to Pay for: I preferred to while my day on a terrace of my villa/hut. It is very quiet there and the resort looks very stylish and peaceful, it isn't flashy and sits in harmony with surroundings. The Shambave Resort is a 5 star, 14 villa luxury boutique hotel located less than 2 kilometers from the Pai city centre with beautiful views to the mountains above Mo Phaeng waterfall. Unfortunately, the view on one side is now obscured by the ugly Beachclub Waterpark own by some Australian -- I hope this establishment won't last long. The resort is absolutely gorgeous.

Lovely resort. The room is very big with mountain and farm view! The down side is many tiny insects drops into the bed from nowhere~ the location is near pai canyon, about 15 mins from the city center of pai.

The Resort is well suited in town between the river and walking street. The restaurant has nice Thai food next to the river. I am sure the resort its self has seen better days prior to COVID, but it is a bit run down Jan 2022 at the time of my visit.

Great place to be. Cozy rooms with balconies and greens everywhere. Small swiming pool. Relatively quiet place. Restaurant by riverside. Average internet hotspots. Friendly staff. Breakfast is mostly for farangs — different egg dishes with meat, and you can choose only one meal from 7 options, no deviation. So, if you like real Thai food, better to go outside.

Location is just great, facilities are very good and eating and drinking on the riverside terrace is just great. Just as the pool. Communication and hospitality is poor (no English) and bookings through Booking are not always noted by their office. So it's the place itself that makes up for everything. I'd definitely recommens this for enjoying the Pai-Buzz but escaping it just at the end of the street
