I booked this place as a treat, and wondered if it would be as cool in reality as in photos. It was! I feel like I’ve just had a weekend in paradise. A very pleasant stay, the room was spacious and the bathroom very clean. Due to the hotel being very quiet, breakfast was a la carte. It was delicious with both western and Thai options. The staff are extremely polite, kind and attentive. Little bit out of town but a shuttle is provided. No highchairs provided unfortunately but everything was accessible. Would recommend!

Amazing stay, but a bit pricy with the enviroment, worth to try.

It’s a little bit of a fad being that you’re in Thailand and it’s Greek themed. The pool is a bit dated and sad. The rooms are perfectly decent and fun to get to by the kayaks. Great location for the town activities and the staff went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and special.

The resort is close to the pai main streets (.75km) so you can walk into town quickly. Although at the pricier end of accomodation in Pai, this place is still good value for money. The decor and theming is lovely, as are the grounds and pool. Room rate includes a la carte breakfast and free transport into Pai town 5 mins away. Would highly recommend getting a poolside room as the price is the same as other rooms. They're listed as twins but the hotel can merge them.

We loved Pura Vida Pai, it is a gem just a short drive outside the village. It was peaceful and quiet and had a fabulous yard. Vanda and her staff were charming, they made us feel completely welcome and at home.

Is about 2 km from Pai central . Quiet place to stay . Is definitely worth the price for short stay . 2-3 nights . The landlord is very nice .. there are few options with choosing the rooms . So don’t choose the standard if you want to stay and live for few days as standard is a box !!! Very small . Location is perfect ! No crowd ! Thai feelings !

The rooms are a bit dated . Do ask them to arrange twin single beds clearly as you book the hotel as they might forget about it. The king bed (made by combining two single beds) is not so comfortable. The saving grace was the availability of the netflix / Prime video. The washrooms are old

The reception staff is very good. The room is complete according to the needs. There is a shuttle to the night market which is very good. The food is very slow. The point that needs to be improved is the swimming pool which is not maintained. Other than that, everything is good.

We had two connecting rooms which was convenient. The rooms are beautifully designed and the resort is peaceful and clean. We aren't staying here but just wanted somewhere nice to have drink and it did not disappoint. The backdrop is picturesque, it is extremely relaxed and also, unlike a lot of pai (including some of the better resorts) it is incredibly designed.

Beautiful resort with really nice chill spaces close to the river. You can hear some music coming from a close bar but it's not that bad, and the walking street is right next to it but it's the quieter area of the walking street, so it doesn't bother your sleep.

It was a perfect place to stay for our almost one week in Pai. It’s right “in the middle” of Pai, short walking distance to the walking street bar restaurant and everything else. Rooms are very spacious and I loved the garden area with chill out huts and hammocks. The breakfast is amazing, huge and also you can help yourself with fruits throughout the day. 100% recommendation!

Lovely staff in a superb location. Falling asleep to the sounds of nature in my cabin was perfect. Two hot springs (one boiling, one warm) and a swimming pool. This was a lovely hotel, the bed was large and comfy the room was very spacious and we had a pool right outside. We did was that the bathroom door didn't fully close and there were quite a few mosquitoes. Other than this we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend!

The hotel is close enough to walk to the center of Pai but far enough that you escape the noise. The hotel has two nice pools but otherwise lacks any amenities like a restaurant. The staff was nice but couldn’t help us with questions about renting bikes, tours, etc.

Ok but a bit of a hike into town. Decor etc is a bit tired but it is set in lovely grounds and there is a pool. Staff were lovely. We didn't eat breakfast there as it's quite basic and mostly Thai (we're vegetarians). It's about a 25 min walk into town, which we did every day, but mostly got a taxi back, cost about 100bt. Awesome little resort on the outside of town, a little ways away from the hustle and bustle of the walking street. You'll want a scooter if you stay here but the quality of the rooms is well worth the 5 minute drive in. Be sure to get up early one morning and watch the sun rise over the mountains.

We had a good stay. The hotel is good but not that clean as it looks in the pics, air conditioner take long time to get cold the place, they don't clean up that good your room too. Shambave is a lovely little resort on the edge of Pai owned by Dirk and Noot. Although it was super dry when we got there one can see that their place is loved and the gardens must be beautiful after the rains. This place is a little gem. We stayed in the family villa with private pool. It ticked all the boxes for my family. The breakfast was fairly terrible, but you're really close to Pai town and at least 20 places to eat an excellent breakfast! Very peaceful and relaxing.

I spent a week at Shambave - quite a different one to what many people come to Pay for: I preferred to while my day on a terrace of my villa/hut. It is very quiet there and the resort looks very stylish and peaceful, it isn't flashy and sits in harmony with surroundings. The Shambave Resort is a 5 star, 14 villa luxury boutique hotel located less than 2 kilometers from the Pai city centre with beautiful views to the mountains above Mo Phaeng waterfall. Unfortunately, the view on one side is now obscured by the ugly Beachclub Waterpark own by some Australian -- I hope this establishment won't last long. The resort is absolutely gorgeous.

Very good holiday experience, the hotel is located 5 minutes away from the World War II Bridge. You can see the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. It is very quiet, the environment is beautiful, and the service is also very good.

Everything is okay, the price is not expensive, the view of the Pai River is good, but the bathroom floor in the area that is not the shower area is very slippery. I would like it to be fixed.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Super clean, nice and quiet and seems like an escape right off the main road. The owners and staff are super nice and always smiling. Beautiful peaceful hotel rights in the heart of Pai. No breakfast / food offering but that was not an issue as it is 60seconds walk from all the eateries. The jazz bar next door at night can be loud but finishes at a reasonable time that it doesn’t impact on sleep. Staff are wonderful and rooms have a/c, pool is beautiful and they offer pool towels for free.

Everything! Location was perfect, facilities great, rooms very nice and clean, the owners were lovely. Their little boy was adorable.
