I read all these reviews before I stayed here for 2 months (dec & jan).
Firstly, I had a great experience here and wouldn’t choose anywhere else to stay, I will definately be returning.
Alot of the reviews on here mention a few issues which I would like to give my take on;
1) The road outside is busy:
Yes it is very busy sometimes and the cars and bikes drive fast in thailand, but that is not the fault of the hotel it’s just hard to cross the road outside because it’s on a bend. Also if you walk 10 metres up the road you can cross much more easily so it’s a null issue.
2) The bed matresses are a little hard, but if you ask for a matress topper they are happy to oblige and will install that under your sheets - this solved the issue for me
3) The hotel is very reasonably priced for the area and the free breakfast is actually decent with good basic options and friendly staff - you won’t find better for the cost
4) People have said that the staff are rude but my experience of Suda and Lilly is that they are chatty and friendly and always willing to listen and help if you ask them. They are extremely busy and often the guests are speaking multiple languages and I think they do a great job at managing everything. I have never once seen them be unpolite to anyone, even though some guests came across a bit rude they responded calmly.
5) I stayed on the 6th floor, premium double bedroom. It was spacious, clean, maids came every day and were trustworthy and thorough. If they didnt clean you can just request it and they will do it - sheets towels and all.
6) Wifi is perfectly fine - sometimes there are outages for a short time, but that is normal for any place even your own home. I think it was down only twice, late at night for a few hours in my whole stay of two months.
7) Location is brilliant. Literally one of the best locations in a 10km radius in terms of being able to get to different beaches and activities.
8) Parking is fine for bikes, sometimes it can be busy in peak periods but there are nearby spaces to park within 10 metres so it’s really no problem. Cars are a little more tricky but there are free car parks around 200 metres away
9) People are friendly and it’s quite easy to make friends or talk to people, it’s a very relaxed environment!
Overall I highly recommend this place and if you are thinking about staying here don’t hesitate based on the other reviews - you will definately enjoy your stay!

Sure it will suit people on a budget BUT paying extra for SEAVIEW BALCONY is a trap you CAN NOT see the ocean just huts

Very clean and very good service. The manager and staff were really very kind and courteous. Beautiful view of the city. I will return again, also for the delicious breakfast

This hotel very terrible. Cancellation my booking any how. Agoda sent me a message -

Execrable experience. The lady at the reception has an extremely contemptuous and haughty attitude. We received the keys, but once we arrived the room had not received any cleaning, bins full, sheets undone, etc. No commercial gesture, no apology, no compensation. On the contrary, she expressed herself very badly towards us. She did not show any cooperation when booking asked her to refund the amount of our reservation. We had to wait 2 hours on the phone with booking so that she finally deigned to return the amount to us. To flee.

We really enjoyed it.
Big bed, fridge, balcony, shower, ac and pool on the roof. Near to 7-11 and restaurants. Good place. We liked it.

Elderly guy and staff got in our room when we were out on a beach. When we arrived we found our room with an opened doors. It wasn't housekeeping because the room was like we left. Terrbile experience and noone explained anything to us.

Hotel is OK.. We used just for 7hrs as we had a late flight to phuket.. It reasonable and clean and done the job.. Reception staff are helpful and friendly

Sometimes they can be helpful but most of the time of our stay there, they didn't accommodate to requests we deserved. We have booked for a deluxe room and at that time we arrived, the receptionist said our room is not available yet and took us one floor to another to see what room is available. The room we were supposed to stay wasn't cleaned yet so she took us to a standard room that smells old and mouldy with no window. Told us to stay there for 1 night and we will be transferred early the next morning. We said, no we can't have the room if she could find us something better or we wait until the room allotted for us be cleanes. But she said no more staff do do it. We showed our dismay and reluctance to stay in that room and yet she went downstairs and didn't say anymore.
Yes, she made it possible for the room available for us in the end so we transferred into that room. However. The following days, the staff did our room but didn't do a thorough make up. Bed still were sandy, tables, sink were not wiped and floor was not swept properly :(
