Mia Hotel

Totally Disappointed. I don't know how this place figure as a 4 stars hotel.
When we arrived we were demanded for our passports, no even a "hello how are you" or "welcome". No body helped us with our bags, again for a "4 stars hotel".
The neighbour is a jugbox, music extremely loud, what make our night a nightmare.
I feel robbed, for what I paid I expected a place where I could at least rest.
How can you run a hotel and not even speak english.

First of all the rooms are ok but location is in the middle of a night life area where pubs play music till 1am. The service is not bad but the breakfast need to be worked on. The items is too small served not enough chocies there is no paper indicating that water and softdrink on breakfast is charged even in the rooms the drinks are charged but its not mentioned.

The place is in Old Town … we were informed about the pubs around before coming
The room is Ok a bit small
The toilet is Ok
Breakfast very very very bad it comes in small portion, if you ask for a drink other than coffee you will pay, and no sign was written that we will be charged, they waited until we checked you to make us pay for the water in our room and what we drank on breakfast… plus we had to go have our breakfast outside the hotel
Also they entered our room without asking even though they told us they will not enter until we tell them… so when they saw us leave in early morning they entered without permission
The old man who stay at night in the lobby sleep on the couch as if he is alone and no visitors are around
The hotel is like a house with shared rooms…
And also you can hear everything in the next rooms.
The AC is wrongly installed infront of the bed and it will hit you in the face the whole time

This hotel is in the middle of club/bar central where the music blasts until well after 2am, even wearing earplugs doesn't stop you from feeling like your room is in the club. Rooms are small and dark. This place is waaay too expensive for what you are getting. We had reserved for 6 nights and checked out after the first and they would not refund the money. But seeing as we were willing to pay for a new place should indicate how the experience was. Highly DO NOT recommend.

Double room booked for 14 days. Room very small. Cupboard space very small, no hangers provided and when asked for them they said they don't provide them. No facilities to make a hot drink, small fridge provided but didn't seem to be working. Canned drinks provided but charged if used. No hot water on 4 occasions during the 14 days, when queried they didn't seem to know what I was saying so nothing got done about it. The maid did come in most days to make bed and/or change bedding and change towels and clean bathroom. Our room was on first floor and looked directly onto busy main strip with 4 very noisy pubs/clubs. Fortunately our window was a double which did dampen down the noise a bit, but Friday, Saturday and Sunday music did not shut down till around 3am, rest of the week it was around midnight. Breakfast was provided the first morning as I had asked for it. It consisted of a fried egg, a small amount of chips, a cheese pastry finger, several cheeses, fruits and salad. All this was given on the same plate and we had to eat it in the reception area because it was raining and there eating area is outside.

All in all not an enjoyable stay. If you were only going for a short break, say 4 days/3 nights then it would be OK, not certainly not for your main annual leave of the year.

Small room. Extremely noisy neighborhood. Located on a street with many clubs & bars open until 2am, with loud live music bands. Windows need triple glazing. Need earplugs or strong tranquilizer to sleep. No matter how good a hotel is, it’s bad when can’t get any sleep.
