Delight Deluxe Hotel

I stayed at this hotel in Antalya during Christmas and New Year after being drawn in by its YouTube features. While the brick wall design and old town aesthetic lived up to expectations, providing a charming antique atmosphere.

However, there were some dissatisfactions with the hotel's practices.

The most frustrating aspect was the daily morning disturbances. Unlike standard hotel practice, there were no 'Do Not Disturb' or 'Room Cleaning' door hangers provided initially. Cleaners would simply knock on the door unannounced each morning, without any prior room call, disrupting guests' privacy and rest.
For a hotel in the hospitality industry, this oversight of such a basic amenity was surprising. When feedback was given about this issue, the hotel did respond by providing the door signs - a positive step, though this should have been available from the start.
The room cleanliness was basic, with a slimy bathroom floor. Bringing your own slippers is recommended.

Upon check-in, one of the lights in the room wasn't working, and despite multiple reminders, it took days to fix. The hotel should ensure all facilities are properly functioning before checking in guests.

While the room's ambiance is cozy with its brick wall design, the lighting is quite dim - not suitable for those who need to do some work during their stay.

The one standout positive is the receptionist who was always on Night Shift - a gentleman whose exceptional service and friendly personality made guests feel genuinely welcome. His helpful attitude and willingness to address concerns set an example for what the hotel's service could be. I want to thank him for things that he does for us.

Overall, my stay experience was average. I hope this hotel can match international travelers' expectations soon.
