Everything about this hotel is wonderful. I’d recommend it. The hot air balloons are incredible and come right over the patio. The rooms are very cave like and the only thing I didn’t like was how moist it was in the room. The breakfast was outstanding, very top quality. It’s a B&B, not a hotel! It's cave-like and the design is pretty good, but there's no scenery. In a town that is still some distance from Gray Town, it would be quite troublesome to travel without a car. Everything is very average. I would recommend staying in a cave hotel in the mountains of Gray Town.

We had a great stay at In Stone House, the room was very authentic and had plenty of room. The hotel has a lovely courtyard and a lovely dining area that can be used as a common area after breakfast. We really enjoyed staying in Çavusin it's a quieter area but still amongst ancient ruins and rock formations and not far from trailheads or other attractions.

I traveled solo and I found it very comfortable and relaxed. I had a room on the second floor facing the upstairs patio that allowed me to see the hot air balloons in the morning from my window. I think the hotel changed hands 3-4 years ago. For those who don't know the area, the hotel is located in Çavuşin. 5 minutes by car to Göreme, 20 minutes to Ürgüp, 10 minutes to Avanos.
