Grand plaza hotel was booked based on previous reviews and to sum up the question "would I stay here again?" The answer would be yes.
Not a 5 star in anyway and would liken it to a Travelodge in the UK.
For us the room size was great (large) and we were minutes by car from where we needed to be.
Couldn't fault the hotel except for maybe the shower as mentioned below.
Great WiFi if anyone is interested and I held a teams call for work without any issues during my stay.

One of the best hotels I've visited in Istanbul. Perfect location in the heart of the city. 1 minute far from Torium AVM and Metrobus station.
the rooms very clean with very good service.
We took room 404 and 405 they're the best view. and the price was cheap// 500 TL in 6/2022//.

Amazing new rooms. Very low rates. Near to Metro Bus bridge. No parking available.Breakfast is not good. Not much choice. If you order omelet in brkfst, its not included. Rest is all good

We are staying now ..and it was a good experience ..breakfast was good i like it ..staff was friendly ..clean room everything was clean..i just don't like the room slippers.. otherwise spacious room clean and road views..overall good experience

I have stayed here for 8 nights this year and I am currently in this hotel again. Its really nice, clean and tidy. Staff are friendly and professional the location is in great place nex to Toirom Shopping Mall. The only issue is breakfast its limited I presume its because of COVID19. However, its atmosphere is affordable. Lots of cafes and restaurants around as well as supermarkets. The Metro bus station is in front of the hotel only twenty metres approximately. Last but not least, there are lunch and dinner inside the hotels restaurant for extra 10€ per person per meal. I do recommend the hotel for families and I'm sure I will stay in this property every time I visit Istanbul.

Note: the hotel owner commented after I submitted my review but I'm not welling to change anything as I'm a Google guide and I have to be honest but maybe in few months later I can visit the same hotel again update my review....
My original review was "A lot of issues and they didn't care to solve: bad air conditioning - runaway staff from duties - poor breakfast- they allow smoking and s@x secretly - walls between rooms as if they are not there - no discounts as apology
