Good location - a few minutes walk from the city centre.
Service was ok - sometimes there isn't anyone at the desk and you have to wait ~10 minutes for them.
It's cheaper in person than online - costs 650tl for a 2-person room.
The room was clean, as well as the bathroom. However, the window latch was broken and kept opening.
Otherwise, a good hotel overall for a stay in Gaziantep.

Stayed in double bed room 401 mid-week for a night. New furniture, comfortable bed, very good shower. At a low price. Breakfast buffet was good.

Overall the staff was nice but pity their English was very limited.
We had to use google translate.
There was also a misunderstanding about the payment due to language barriers.
There is a club opposite the hotel where they play very loud thumping live music.

We stayed here for one night. The room was okay, but at night I was itching and I didn’t know why. In the morning we woke up and found a bed bug soaked full with blood. We looked and found two more. We really didn’t want to pay for this horrible experience, but they made us pay the full fee only with a little discount of 100 Lira. Not recommended.

If you are aiming for a budget hotel in city centre of Gaziantep, close to the old market and sightseeing with decent services
The Utkubey Hotel is the one. I personally enjoyed my stay, nice staff

The hotel is 2 Stars, and I was aware about that from the beginning, therefore I didn't try to evaluate the hotel against higher levels. Nevertheless, the hotel is very reasonable for the price paid, the staff are very friendly. Location wise, the hotel is in the centre of the city, easy accessible everywhere by foot, anything you want is just few minutes walk away. I believe the layout of the room could be improved by just moving the furniture around, therefore the guest would have more spacious areas, and my only taking against the hotel is that it is dated, all what is needed is just new wall painting and sanding the wooden floor. On the other hand, the bathroom is newly renovated and very reasonable.

The room they put us in, was way too small for two people. The shower is so small, my husband found it very difficult to turn around in the shower. The floor was not clean. The breakfast was late every morning. Twice we didn't get any breakfast, as there was nothing left when we turned up at 8 o'clock! Very noisy, with a band playing across the road every night. The only good thing was the staff. They were helpful and friendly.

The room is small, but has everything you need. Bathroom is fine. The linen and towels are clean. Breakfast is basic but it is included. The parking is just on the street in front of the entrance .
Overall score is 7,5 out of 10.
On the negative side:
- The staff does not speak English
- When I booked the room over the phone, the staff told me the price of 200 TL, but when I checked out, it turned out to be 300 TL...
- The hotel needs renovation.
However, the location is excellent. Walking distance to museums, bazaar, etc.
