Let's put it this way. You come here knowing that you get what you paid for. No luxury, no fancy rooms, no fancy services. If you come with this mindset, you will appreciate this stay, just like I did. Its best point is the very convenient location, its worst was probably the black stains in the bathroom, and the fact that guests feel entitled somehow to smoke inside despite being not allowed

It is very much worth the little money. Expecting bad, after having read the reviews, we experienced good. The receptionist was exceptionally friendly, the room small, tiled, but bright, and smelled just slightly of smoke. The bathroom, while not being the best looking, was quite clean, and everything worked fine. The lift is extremely sketchy, you have to open it by hand, but it just adds to the vibe. The location is decent, being close to, in a wider sense in the historic center of Gaziantep.
It was a pleasant experience, not in small parts due to the staff, who are very helpful, and smiling. They even offered us a small buffet with salt pretzels, coffee and tea after sunset. Also, when we asked to leave our luggage till after check-out, it presented no problem, and we could just pick them up in the evening.
The laundry service is, in my understanding, shared with the Hotel nextdoor. You bring your laundry to the lady owning the small shop right of the entrance to the hotel, and in 24 hours, you can pick it up at the reception. A small bag of clothes cost 600 TL (1€ ~ 34 TL), but they are dried and folded, smelling nice, and only slightly of smoke.

One of my favorite places to be in the world. I shouldn't advertise it because the price might go up and I won't be able to afford to stay here anymore. But it's a wonderful place to stay that I can afford. The staff are great, the lobby is warm and inviting, the room and the bed are beyond comfortable with a lot of room, a desk, a TV, a fridge, and a shelf behind the bed, along with the rest of the storage room. I would but mind to live here permanently. It's that comfortable. Thanks to Yunus hotel for being my home for as long as it lasts anyway.

The location of the hotel is great, basically in the middle of the centre.
The rooms are okay, but could need some renovation
All in all for the price the hotel can definitely be recommended.

Just be aware that the parking garage where you can park FOR FREE will try to scam you. They will demand more money for some made up reason. Eventhough what they say might sound somewhat plausible, DO NOT PAY. The parking is free for hotel guests, so just say that you won't pay and call the hotel and police if necessary.

Great hotel for the price. Well-located in a beautiful historic neighborhood, walking distance to the main sites and museums. Staff was extremely hospitable and helpful. Room was adequate and had a nice little desk. Only negative was that the mattress was very worn and needed to be replaced. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would happily stay again.
