Reviews
Service? What service? I thought luggage being taken to your room was, you know, a basic 4-star expectation, but apparently that’s a premium fantasy here. And let’s talk about the “sea view” my room promised. Unless the sea has recently been replaced by a metro line or a concrete jungle, someone’s clearly playing fast and loose with the word view.
Overall, wildly underwhelming. Would give half a star if I could—mostly for the comedic value.
My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of visiting the Askoc Hotel's spa in Turkey Istanbul, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the serene atmosphere and luxurious setting immediately put us at ease. We were welcomed with warmth and professionalism, making us feel pampered from the very start.
A special mention must go to Bahi, who made our time there unforgettable. His attention to detail, expertise, and genuine care for our comfort truly stood out. Bahi’s soothing presence and thoughtful service ensured we were completely relaxed and taken care of throughout our visits. We were so impressed by the experience that we ended up returning three times—it was just that amazing!
The treatments were indulgent, the facilities pristine, and the overall atmosphere one of pure relaxation. Whether you’re looking to unwind or treat yourself to something special, Askoc Hotel’s spa offers the perfect escape. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
First off, the positive reviews you’ll find here are mostly about the spa experience—not the hotel stay itself. We also noticed a clear bias in service—staff were noticeably friendlier and more helpful towards Western guests compared to us Asians, which is something you’ll find reflected in many reviews as well.
The most disappointing part of the experience was the attitude of the staff, particularly Deniz, who was rude, dismissive, and completely unaccommodating. I’m heavily pregnant and we had multiple bags, yet no one came to assist us despite several calls to the reception. But ironically, when we were 15 minutes late to check out, we got a phone call threatening extra charges. The priorities here are completely off.
To make matters worse, the breakfast was absolutely terrible—limited options, poor quality, and nothing remotely enjoyable to start the day with.
Sadly, this hotel experience ruined our overall time in Istanbul. A city we were looking forward to exploring ended up being overshadowed by the stress and disappointment we faced here.
If you’re considering Askoc Hotel—please take our honest advice and go elsewhere. There are far better places in Istanbul where you’ll be treated with dignity and care. We genuinely regret staying here and hope others won’t have to go through the same.
This was hands down the worst hotel experience of my life. The receptionist, Deniz, was unbelievably rude – zero respect, no manners, and couldn’t even fake a smile if his life depended on it. Felt like we were a burden just for checking in.
The rooms? Horrible. Smelled like moldy carpet and regret. Everything felt dirty and neglected – I wouldn’t even let my worst enemy stay here.
If you value your sanity, sleep, or basic human decency – AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I wouldn’t recommend this dump to anyone.
room with view in Bosphores ( You must choose these room with view in Bosphores) ❤️❤️🌹,

-Staff Very Very coaperative from Secourity to reception they speack english and understand few arabic 💗,
-Breackfast more comfortable and nice and freshly,,
-I take 3 night 4 days, I like the honest and trust of All staff, More secure location of Hotel to family and Husband
Cleanliness- the hotel bathrooms were covered in footsteps and the cleaning staff refused to work without extra pay from us. Towels racks are placed directly above the toilets leading to some very annoying situations.
Staff- On our first day we brought some snacks with us from the airport and they refused to let us in, the staff sent away our taxi which is supposed to take us to the airport because we were running 5 minutes late. This taxi was supposed to be provided by the hotel which had their own parking lot but they found it responsible to send away our taxi making us late, the staff then yelled at us and sweared at us. Staff are extremely rude and even came to our room telling us to hurry up multiple times. The staff refused to refund our stay after we found somewhere better.
Facilities - very disgusting buffet with lots of spoiled veggies, only decent thing was the cold cut meats, drinks provided are coffee and tea, everything else is extra. The hotel pool is only open for a few hours and afterwards it costs extra, when we tried to look at the pool while it was closed the staff yelled at us; the pool was full of paper flakes and the pool was clearly unfiltered water. The wifi disconnects regularly I
Rooms- Rooms are filthy and tiny, we booked a room for 3 people but it could barely fit us; the closet had no shelves so we had to stack up our clothes, shower had yellow goop stuck in it that refused to go away.
