After long driving we came to your hotel... Despite the staff's apology, the conditions in the room raise serious questions about the quality standards this hotel is aiming for. An apology is appreciated, but it does not address the underlying issues of cleanliness and maintenance that are evident.

Toilet Hygiene: The state of the toilet, as seen upon arrival, was unacceptable and far below what any guest should expect in a hotel of this standard. Cleanliness should never be compromised, as it directly affects the health and comfort of guests.

Minibar Presentation: The minibar setup was lacking and gave an impression of neglect rather than attention to detail. In many hotels, the minibar is an integral part of the guest experience, and its proper presentation is a reflection of overall quality.

Bathroom Cleanliness: Towels left on the floor and the general disorder in the bathroom suggest a lack of proper housekeeping checks. This is not just a matter of aesthetics but also an issue of basic operational standards.

An apology without action or improvement does little to restore confidence. The question remains: Is this the level of quality that the hotel considers acceptable for its guests? If so, it falls far short of what most would expect from a professional hospitality establishment.

For the hotel to truly value its guests, it needs to ensure these lapses are addressed at their root. Cleanliness and presentation are not optional—they are foundational to the guest experience. A sincere effort to uphold these standards would not only prevent such occurrences but also demonstrate that the hotel genuinely cares about guest satisfaction.

"Fantastic stay at Novotel Zeytinburnu! From check-in to checkout, the staff was exceptionally kind and helpful—from the front desk to housekeeping. The breakfast was included and absolutely delicious with plenty of variety. The facilities were a highlight—we loved the pool, and our son couldn’t get enough of the play area near the restaurant. We were hungry for some African food on the last day of our stay. The front desk recommended Amala Joint for African food delivery—it was a game-changer for a taste of home! Can’t wait to return!"

Staying at the Novotel in Istanbul has been an absolute pleasure! From the warm, welcoming staff to the exceptional service, everything has exceeded my expectations. The hotel restaurant offers delicious food, perfectly complementing the comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. A special thanks to Serhat, whose friendly smile and inviting demeanor truly stand out and make the experience even more memorable. I’m thoroughly enjoying my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul!

Very nice hotel with great breakfast. Nice outdoor swimming pool. Rooms and spacious and clean (they don’t clean your room to very late thou and sometimes not all all ) we stayed for 5 nights and found the reception staff not the best customer service and not the happiest of people. Rest of the staff were pleasant.

Hotel is very out the way. However there is a nice area 10 mins away with very high end restaurants and shops.

Novotel hotel has a very good standard. The rooms don't have a state of the art look, but they are clean, tidy and cleaned every day. The hotel staff provide top service. I am very satisfied. The kitchen delivers delicious food at favorable prices compared to Norwegian conditions. The hotel also has a good swimming area with a children's and adult pool. All in all, I give the hotel 5 stars and plan to return next year. Yaćmur at the reception gets an extra star.

We stayed at this hotel for six days with my wife and three kids until August 28, 2024. We had connected rooms and included breakfast. The staff and management were amazing. The hotel was very clean, and it was easy to get a taxi. Behind the hotel is a mall called Fisekhane, which is great for couples looking to have a good time. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of good choices

Hotel has very good sea view, pool, good breakfast. Card keys in lift and doors sometimes does not work, door lock for toilet also maybe malfunctioning. One room in 2nd floor was oversmoked, but hotel personnel changed to another one on 3rd floor - so room is very good. Whole personnel starting from reception to restaurant is very responsive, polite and good. Cleaner, Mr Savasbey was truly inspired person and makes his job excellently.
Even we had small issues with card keys and locks, smoked room, i recommend to stay here

Loved the place. No one can beat Novotel in hospitality. Better than my Hilton experience. I was late for breakfast one day and I didn’t knew the buffet breakfast time was untill 10am. I reached At 10:45. This is how my family was privately served. Other hotels would have softy said NO. The person taking care of us was Eray and his team. They were great in hospitality.

We loved our stay at Novotel Zeytinburnu. From the moment we arrived, the staff could not have been more helpful. From the front desk to the cleaners, everyone was very kind.
We had breakfast included in our stay was varied and delicious.
The facilities were great. We loved the pool and also, our son loved the play area between the restaurant and the foyer.
We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for 9 days, the staff were always so helpful and accommodating, doing all they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible, particularly the bar and restaurant manager Ibrahim and reception staff member; Firat. The hotel was clean, the cleaners are very trustworthy and polite and the pool was always clean too. Highly recommended.
