So disappointing! As a family we have been visiting Joya for many years, it was our favourite place in Marmaris, however, sadly we turned up today to find a completely different Joya. Food is a bland and beige self service buffet at a fixed and all inclusive price, and non beige food, including the previously wonderful Turkish breakfast are not included in the £40 per adult price. Beach and pool are packed. Food and service used to be exceptional, that is sadly no longer the case. We will not be returning.

Beach was lovely. It was close enough to the town without being too close. Just 10 minutes taxi ride into the town. The food was average at best. Same food on offer each day. It wasn’t fresh. Air con in our room didn’t work and the staff didn’t know how to fix it. Won’t return to this hotel which is a shame as it has so much potential.

Just ask if dinner available before booking and also ask if any wedding, etc will be present during your stay. They only serve to those whom they gain more. Otherwise your vacation will be a disaster like mine. You can't even sleep in this hotel due to very loud and mixed music played live at restaurant and from dj at the beach.

Sea is very dirty due to the fact that this hotel owns a yacht marina and located in a closed bay. If you want to swim, just try other locations such as Datca bays.

No need to mention the rest of negative facts.

Very good alternative to the port in Marmaris. Peace, quiet, reasonable prices. The restaurant is quite exquisite. Prices are moderate. If someone pays a few hundred euros to come here to eat a kebab for a few euros, they should look somewhere else. The only disadvantage of the restaurant is the relatively expensive drinks (wine). Beautiful, quiet beach. I would gladly come back here. I have not been to the hotel so I do not know what the conditions are like.

Some of the rooms are in another building outside the hotel campus. The staff are a bit rude. The rooms lack many basic amenities. The beach is amazing

Awfully disrespectful staff.
When we asked what they were aiming for with their deliberate horrific behaviours, they were laughing.

Watch out for the management as they are gaslighting when you complain about the quality of service they provide, claiming you are the first person on earth to think the staff are not behaving decently.

I assume they don’t read the comments over here. Because the same exact frustrations were shared many times. Apparently gaslighting is chosen over improving. Therefore this can only get worse.

It is a shame as the site sits on a beautiful place. But the beauty of the beach is not worth having a nervous breakdown due to their service quality. I definitely had a better day on a public beach.

Just seen the last few reviews and can't believe it's the same place! We came for day visit, booked via hotels WhatsApp link and no issues with this at all. Service is great, very unintrusive and non pushy leading to a very relaxed day. If you want a drink and a waiter is not passing by as soon as you get up one comes to you, all staff really helpful and friendly...you're not hassled to keep buying. We have eaten lunch there the last couple of days, food of excellent quality and service great. Prices are very good too. The swimming among boats post I can't understand? The boats are well away from the beach which is incredible by the way...proper sand and clear water. We came for 1 day and will have done 4 by the end of our holiday, wish we'd gone sooner.

Greatest sea I’ve ever been on Marmaris! It’s sandy beach, clean sunbeds and sea is amazing. Plus, it’s animal friendly! The foods are great and the prices are affordable.

Beach is great, food is above average. Good place to enjoy the beach with toddlers/kids. If you are not staying in the hotel there is an entrance fee but you can redeem it fully. Overall, I would recommend this place.
