My Blue Hotel Zanzibar

The hotel is big and has access to the beach. There is also an infinity pool which has nice views of the beach. The beach is nice although be careful of sea urchins near the rocks. During the evening there are a lot of sales people trying to sell you a bunch of things, they are not pushy though so not a deal breaker.

The rooms are okay. Our room had a damp smell.

All meals are buffets. Lunch and dinner is 20 dollars per person. There is not much variety but it’s good enough.

The staff is very friendly and happy to help.

After dinner there was a night show at the beach.

The road to the hotel is very bad.

Good value for money.

Only comment: please clean the pool daily! There is leftover sand and the water isnt clean. Also, add more activities.

Very cozy hotel! The staff is super friendly and nice. Close to the ocean and beach is one of the coolest on the coast. Sunset time near infinity pool is magical. Thanks for pleasant atmosphere, definitely should be back to My Blue

Very good hotel. Very nice service. The people working here are almost always smiling and helpful. The rooms were clean and cleaned regularly, but the bathrooms needed renovation. The food is tasty - especially lunches and dinners. Breakfasts are usually sweet, but I definitely prefer savory breakfasts. The drinks at the bar were very good, they were not watered down like in other hotels. However, the biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. The hotel is located in a place where the tides are very low compared to other places in Zanzibar, so you can easily swim in the ocean (but watch out for sea urchins!). You can relax on the hotel beach because it is separated from the public beach, so no one will stop you and ask you to sell something. One of the 3 hotel swimming pools is located on a small cliff on the hotel beach - the views are beautiful, especially in the evening. The hotel is quiet and peaceful, you can relax.

This was the best experience at My Blue. Never met such Friendly people in my life, always smiling and ready to help you. Al they want is you to enjoy and have a good time. I don`t have any negative feedback, just positive! Thank you my Blue for making our stay so wonderful! Wish you all the best! Will definitely come back! Missing you already!

Nice change of vibe, nice and relaxed atmosphere and great to be able to swim in the ocean. Some good entertainment in the evening and the staff very good. Also some good trips available around Zanzibar

The Resort is great. The staff are helpful and friendly. The beach is amazing. But, don't book the meal package the food is barely average.
