Good hotel, worth its 4 stars. Quiet, peaceful place, the only negative is its location, because. the ability to swim in the ocean depends on the tides.

Fantastic hotel to your holiday stay. Rooms are spacious and clean. The pool is neat and well maintained and the beach is beautiful. Dance shows during the nights were entertaining and had great fun.

Nice place, smiling people. A beautiful, well-kept garden. Many flowers, palm trees, yellow parrots. It is necessary to follow the tide, otherwise you will not swim. At low tide the sea is kilometers away. The apartment would need to repair the bathroom, however the bedroom and the garden are wonderful. The resort is located in a village with a local spirit. After my ordeal of a bad room in another part of 1 of their partner hotels, the manager of this hotel arranged for me to move here.... I was in 7th heaven... This place is TRUELLY every cent worth it.. And the manager is for sure a keeper for this hotel. An amazing guy, friendly and helpful. Thanks to all staff assisting to make my stay awesome!!

I have to vote this as most memorable Italian food I have eaten outside of Italy (it even beats a lot of the food in Italy itself). The resort is on the ocean and it is covered in waterfalls of flowers. For sunset - connoisseur cocktails, herbal and spice infusions - an experience!

It is beautiful place, very quit and good privacy, beautiful beach, good services, best hospitality, delicious food. We had a very great time there. The staff were very friendly and kind. The swimming pool was very great. There's a play area to play, also a kids play area. The rooms were spacious and clean. Overall I would give this place 10/10.

This is a cute and quaint hotel with small suites with names under the spices. Manicured gardens and tropical flora line each and every villa. I had liked this place from the time i saw the photo on website, and fell in love with it once i reached there. This is a luxury resort with spacious room, lovely bathroom with all amenities. They have lovely pool overlooking Indian Ocean, and play area for kids; restaurant is also good.... away from the crowd...Great place to unwind!

It’s a beautiful place to have a vacay. Right at the beach. The rooms are very spacious and quite comfortable. They have these room that are big enough for families or bigger groups. Not so close to the city but that’s how all resorts are in Zanzibar. The food is also mostly good, try their seafood platter.

Great atmosphere. We were there Oct and because of the tide the sea is not great, some rocks in it and lots of seaweed. Pool and view is lovely. A bit windy. Staff is very kind, food is good and prices are good. Visit even if just to have food. Nothing to do or go around. Plan this as staying around the pool, eating in and doing nothing.

Stayed here many years ago and still remember it as my favourite holiday! For a few days we were the online people in the resort and it was lovely! The pool is great, the food was fabulous! We looked foward to each meal. The staff is amazing. Back then the rooms were amazing too.

Wonderful place. Amazing interior design in the entrance that creates a lovely spirit. We had a very nice stay. Swimable beach, nice breakfast and friendly staff. The only drawback was that the water cut for a short time every once in a while.

Mid sized nice hotel directly on the beach 🏖 Hotel rooms fully equipped including hairdryer and bath cosmetics. Very nice stuff always willing to help. Good restaurant in the hotel with local as well as international cuisine. Reasonable prices. Uroa is quiet place in comparison with other places in Zanzibar so it can be good for family vacation or for people who don't need night life every day.

Very nice small resort, it offers good place to stay in a cozy environment. The restaurant offer nice food, and they are very nice and friendly.

Amazing beach Location, standard rooms but good for the price because it has AC ?, not much to do around. The food in the restaurant though wasn't nice.

7 days of peace. Moonshine has all important amenities for our use. Mohamed well advised on excursions which we enjoyed. Laid back and relaxing. Thank you to the management. Maybe not 4 star but budget friendly and helpful staff.

Big room and nice facilities. The resort is literally right off the beach, but it offers a small swimming pool as well and a few chaise longues and hammocks scattered around the front of the establishment, facing the sea. Breakfast is great and lunch/dinner menu is also quite nice, with a few Swahili specialities.

Very friendly staff and located right on the beach. Very good breakfast with coffee, tea, fresh delicious juice, fruit platter and choice of different types of eggs or pancake. Good service. Food in the restaurant was also good with vegetarian options, but not that cheap. Air conditioner in the rooms and small pool in front were helpful for freshen up in hot days.
