We had a very great time there. The staff were very friendly and kind. The swimming pool was very great. There's a play area to play, also a kids play area. The rooms were spacious and clean. Overall I would give this place 10/10.

It is beautiful place, very quit and good privacy, beautiful beach, good services, best hospitality, delicious food. Thanks to Mr DG, Mr Hissam, Mr Kassim, Chef Khatib and all the staff, you really made our honeymoon memorable especially with the romantic dinner and Floating breakfast gift.

This is a cute and quaint hotel with small suites with names under the spices. Manicured gardens and tropical flora line each and every villa. Clean traditional rooms, spacious, friendly staff make your stay a haven. Peaceful and unlike the commercial party zone hotels which have night life throughout. If you are looking for a relaxing break in Zanzibar, by far this is the best choice to explore and simultaneously unwind.

I had liked this place from the time i saw the photo on website, and fell in love with it once i reached there. This is a luxury resort with spacious room, lovely bathroom with all amenities. They have lovely pool overlooking Indian Ocean, and play area for kids; restaurant is also good.... away from the crowd...Great place to unwind!

It’s a beautiful place to have a vacay. Right at the beach. The rooms are very spacious and quite comfortable. They have these room that are big enough for families or bigger groups. Not so close to the city but that’s how all resorts are in Zanzibar. The food is also mostly good, try their seafood platter.

Great atmosphere. We were there Oct and because of the tide the sea is not great, some rocks in it and lots of seaweed.
Pool and view is lovely. A bit windy. Staff is very kind, food is good and prices are good.
Visit even if just to have food.
Nothing to do or go around. Plan this as staying around the pool, eating in and doing nothing.

Beautiful hotel in a calm village of Uroa. We enjoyed our 8 days stay with long walks on the beach, lovely pool and delicious food at the restaurant. The rooms are clean and the facility is well kept. WiFi is very fast. The stuff more than helpful, everyone was super kind to us! We can highly recommend Sunny Palms Beach Resort.

Beware! We have a large group traveling to Zanzibar and decided to book a stay here. After discussion for multiple weeks with the villa manager we came to an agreement on what our group rate would be. They sent a confirmation email and then suddenly went cold. No more responses or communication of any kind. This has really put us out as our other options are now booked and we still don’t have a place to stay.
I’m not sure if they were scamming me, found a better deal with another group, or were just plain dishonest. Regardless we feel very mistreated and wronged and would not recommend their services to anyone.

The most beautiful place on the coast next to the ocean. Beautiful clean and empty beach. Very high standard and comfortable conditions. Spacious new apartments. I recommend with all my heart.
