For the price and location you would be hard pressed to find a better Econo Lodge anywhere. Is it a 4-5 star luxury hotel? Of course not so don’t go expecting that. But I will say it’s a great place. All the employees have been gracious and friendly. The grounds are beautifully kept and the rooms are clean. We’ve been stuck here for almost a week while our truck is broken down. Their pet fee is reasonable, the breakfast is decent and the pool looks wonderful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Perfect walking distance to Old Town.

The room was very clean and comfortable (other than a singular roach, yikes!), and the AC worked very well. Shower hot, and TV functional with many channels. The lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful when I asked for tourist attractions in the area. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat if I returned to Albuquerque.

Booked this for a youth trip we were on. Price was inexpensive for the area so we weren’t expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised. Rooms were clean, staff were great, and we had a great stay even though there was a lot of renovations going on. Thanks for making an affordable place with good quality.

This location is perfect for anyone just starting to get around Albuquerque! I have stayed here 3+ times and this hotel has been the most clean, comfortable, AFFORDABLE, and reliable!! Thank you to the owners and staff that make it such a great experience each time we visit Albuquerque. It's become a home away from home for us.

Enjoyed my stay. Clean room, half the staff was welcoming. I enjoyed the flowers around the hotel. Breakfast and coffee was good. If you walk away from breakfast hungry it's most likely your own fault. A little disappointed the closest laundry is a few miles away. Short walk to Old Town, plenty of shopping and food. There is a pool, although I did not swim.

This was probably one of the worst hotels we have stayed in. On the exterior, it’s very run down. It felt like an unsafe part of town, and there were suspicious people hanging out around the hotel after dark. Did not feel safe for the family. The room was nice looking when we entered but it had a funky smell (maybe like someone had smoked in there). We decided not to say anything, because we assumed that the entire hotel would have that issue. The bathroom door was unable to close and lock. One positive was the hot and cold breakfast spread.

Reservation was today, but when I arrived at the property, they said my reservation was for tomorrow and I had to pay extra to have my room for today that was originally booked for today. Very upset and will be calling company on Monday.

Econo Lodge is actually a kind of Motel. Friendly and helpful staff. Basic breakfast.
The only thing I could say is that the room was a little small for four people and since we were at an event at Hotel Albuquerque, we had to walk at night to the EconoLodge and the area we had to walk through didn't seem very safe so we switched to the Best Western Plus Ri Grande Inn.

Exceeded my expectations is a cheap hotel. It certainly had its issues: paper thin walls through what you can hear everything your neighbors are doing well into the night, refrigerators that tend to be too cold and freeze the contents, shower curtains that barely contain the water so you have to be careful not to splash it all over the bathroom, and virtually no control over the temperature of the room. However, things were surprisingly clean and functional apart from those very noteworthy issues. The beds were comfortable, the linens were clean, as was the room in general. More good than bad, in my opinion.
But what bumped this up from 3 to 4 stars for me was the service. The receptionist who works in the evenings in particular was very nice and helpful, and made me feel welcome during both of my stays.
