Terrible experience in restaurant. Only one waiter for both inside and out. Secondly, leaving the restaurant- We had taken a private car service to the restaurant and we notified our driver when we were preparing to leave. He pulled up in front of the hotel and was waiting for us (he literally had just been there a few minutes before we were coming out). A valet attendant, whose name was ROBERT, approached his vehicle and told him to move. Our driver said we were walking out and he needed to be as close to the front door as possible because he was picking up his clients with their 97 year old mother. ROBERT said "move forward now". He said to park in front of the fire hydrant. Our driver replied, “you're not supposed to park in front of a fire hydrant.” ROBERT said it is FAKE. ROBERT then proceeded to squint his eyes, to mock our driver who is from the Philippines, and started to open the door to his vehicle. Our driver told him to not touch his property. About this time I approached the side of the vehicle where this altercation was happening. ROBERT continued to be rude, yelling now at me and our driver. My husband then approached after putting his mother in the car. ROBERT continued to mouth off giving this hotel a bad name. This certainly didn't seem like a Four Seasons property. Unfortunately, we will never be returning to this establishment again. Santa Fe has so many wonderful restaurants with a staff that doesn't mock and or belittle its paying customers.

Santa Fe resident of 20 years. Not sure what is happening here, but what used to be a great venue, has fallen to the bottom of my long list of Santa Fe dining favorites. Last night, the Thursday prior to Indian Market weekend, (one of the three busiest times in town), this restaurant was nearly empty at 7:00. The bar was even emptier. Once seated for dinner, we waited for 20 minutes with only water served. No waiter. There were a sum total of two waiters on the floor. Finally, our waiter showed up, apologized for the delay, and took our drink orders. they arrived 10 minutes later, with two correct cocktails, one had to go back. The meal was actually great, but the mood was off by then considerably. Departing the hotel, headed to our driver, I heard arguing as I approached the car. The valet was yelling at my personal driver, (not an UBER), and was berating his Asian background, making squinty eye gestures. As it happens, the driver told me en route to the 4 seasons, that he and his wife often go there for drinks. He mentioned this to the valet, Robert, who said,"I doubt that you can afford it". Pretty amazing interaction in front of guests, including my 96 year old mother. The valet had apparently started the confrontation with my driver because he demanded that he pull up an extra three feet. He wasn't even close to the entrance steps, and there WERE NO OTHER CARS! When the driver explained he was picking up an elderly client, the driver tried to open his car door, and eject him from the car. Either 4 Seasons has gone to the bottom of the barrel for hiring, or they need refresher courses in civility to guests. For me, it was the end of an unpleasant evening, as well as a former favorite place of mine, now scratched from the list.

The worst experience ever! The front desk are clueless on what they are doing. One of them Carlos even hung up on me. They double billed me and overcharged me and the useless manager Andres couldn’t help me with an issue, completely useless. Argued with me for 30 min, the worst customer service skills. I spent over $3.5k for 2 night stay. Would never come back and don’t recommend this property!!

We went for two nights on a girls trip and booked on Amex, over 3 k for two nights. The room is nice but the hotel is nothing special. The worst part was the service. The hotel told us we have $100 credit and $70 per breakfast which we used. When we left the hotel told us that the credit did not apply as we didn't put incidentals on Amex and gave them a visa instead. They charged us an extra $270. When we called and said that we were never told that we need to give Amex for incidental (which we happly would have) the manager hung up on us! This is the worst experience at 4 seasons we ever had and that manager needs to get dismissed! He wouldn't give us the contact of his manager! We expect someone from 4 seasons to contact us right away as this is absolutely unacceptable. We will not be staying at 4 seasons ever again.

This is a beautiful property. Our room (casita???) was beautiful and elegant. The staff at the resort were all friendly and helpful. The food at the on-site Terra restaurant was excellent. I highly recommend the Dulce de Leche Warm Cake for dessert, but know that it's big enough for two people, so bring a friend! It was one of the best dessert experiences I have had anywhere.

Everything about the place is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, etc, BUT the dinner I had last night was maybe worst dining experience. Here's a brief summary: It took 45 minutes to get 2 glasses of rose and two expensive reds to arrive. Our waiter disappears. We ordered 4 med-rare hamburgers with onion rings. It took another hours to get our food (and we couldn't find a waiter to order more wine). The bergers were tepid and VERY WELL DONE. The buns were soggy on the bottom, dry non the top. The onion rings were tepid and greasy. The waiter apologized when delivering the food, and offered to comp the wine. The bill, still $100, took another 30 minutes as the waiter had now disappeared. We finally went to the reception desk to pay. As I said, and awesomely beautiful lace to visit/stay, but PLEASE AVOID TERRA!

The Four Seasons Santa Fe is a truly special place. The property itself is beautiful and scenic -- you really get to experience the beauty of Santa Fe while still being just 10-15 minutes from the center of the city (and, complimentary shuttle rides to and from the plaza make it easy to visit any time of day). The casitas are private enough to feel like your own, but still close the bar, restaurant, pool, and spa. There is also a wonderful hiking trail right on the property. The peace and quiet at night makes it feel like a real vacation.

I had the pleasure of staying in the Encantado suite the first day I arrived, which was truly lovely, but I equally enjoyed the patio casita. They are large, stylish, modern rooms with a stunning bathroom (including heated floors and a deep soaking tub). The kiva fireplaces inside the casitas are such a unique and authentic touch that the outdoor patio fireplace feels like a bonus! I honestly never wanted to leave the room -- even the in-room dining options are delicious! (We ate several meals in the room, including breakfast, dinner, and snacks, and ate at a couple of high-end restaurants in town; we agreed the in-room dining meals were the best). The staff here shines as well -- every person I interacted with made the visit truly special and absolutely made me want to visit again soon. Special praise for Joseph, Kathy, Elijah, Martin, Stephanie, and Amanda, who all went above and beyond what I would expect, even at the Four Seasons. I absolutely recommend splurging on a stay here -- Santa Fe is beautiful and this Four Seasons will really make your visit unlike any other. I can't wait to return!

The Four Seasons property in Santa Fe is an immersive experience. The casitas exude quiet luxury and pamper you with fireplaces and lovely amenities. We enjoyed the friendly staff, from Elijah and Carlos who arranged for our transportation to and from town, to Antonio, Leigh and Danielle at the concierge who helped us organize any detail we needed. Gary from maintenance was my "fireplace butler", and made sure I could enjoy my outdoor patio (and indoor) fireplace - all which felt very special. The only time we ate at the hotel was breakfast, which offered an incredible selection of tasty and health dishes. Thank you for spoiling us!

Just incredible service from start to finish, beginning with the booking all the way through checkout. Resort is quiet, with excellent views to the Jemez Mountains, 30 miles away. Rooms were excellent--no notes. The resort is wonderfully secluded with great hiking trails behind it up into the foothills of the mountains behind it.

Some of the Four Seasons just never lose their charm, like Rancho Encantado. I have stayed here 6 times and every time I've come away refreshed, relaxed and glad I came. I tend to stay with Four Seasons quite frequently because they're reliably high quality and tend to go the extra mile to ensure your stay is remarkable. I have found some over the years lose that sparkle but Rancho Encantado is one of the hidden gems of Santa Fe that people return to repeatedly for their dedication to quality and customer service. I am always glad to see their smiling staff and feel at home in this lovely Santa Fe jewel of a hotel. I have literally recommended it to all of my friends when traveling in Santa Fe. Do go.
