The Grove Hotel, Boise1 / 50

Boise, 245 South Capitol Boulevard 🧭 Map
I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Grove Hotel, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the level of hospitality and service was unparalleled. It’s clear that the team here is not only well-trained but also deeply committed to making every guest feel valued. Whoever oversees training deserves high praise because every single staff...
Kaylin is so amazing! She went above and beyond to accommodate my stay and make me feel welcomed. She is professional and efficient, a true force. Also, Julie is a bartender and she has an amazing personality. I don’t visit often but when I’m in town I would easily stop by to say hello, the service is wonderful here.
Was at the Grove for a work conference - this was the perfect hotel. Great location everything was walkable - resturants, stores, bars, & activities. The food in the restaurant was great and reasonable priced. The employees were respectful, and hospitality was amazing. We had an issue with the tub drain on the first day and notified staff, and it was fixed immediately.
I used to travel for a living from Ohio to the West Coast and stayed in many a high end hotel. I happened to be staying here as my wife was having surgery down the street at the main St. Lukes Hospital. The room they picked for me (I asked for quiet) was absolutely PERFECT. Dead end on a high floor and never knew there was any others nearby. It doesn't get any better. The bed was rather comfortable...
My stay at the Grove Hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional service. A special shout-out to Hailee at the front desk who was amazing. She helped my group and me check-in quickly and efficiently, all with a welcoming smile. Her warm and friendly demeanor set the tone for our entire stay. The hotel itself is spotless, and our rooms offered great...
I would say the Grove Hotel is higher than a four-star but it's definitely not five star. It's a nice place and has a lot of good amenities. Nice rooms both conference rooms as well as guest rooms. Pretty nice place

We visited here with a group of friends for an evening of dancing in the Sapphire Room. Upon arrival, there was a band playing in the open lobby of the hotel. The Sapphire room is a nice venue, with good service. Our drinks were tasty, and there's a good bar menu. We shared two orders of food, and both were well prepared. We felt the drink & food prices were reasonable, ($7-8 for a hotel.
This hotel is sprawling! Extremely large area-wise, you will definitely get your work-out here. I was here during a rural water trade show and the hotel had obviously been re-done fairly recently. The rooms are quite comfortable and spacious. The staff kept the bathrooms clean and sanitary. I would not hesitate to come back here again.
Hotel has been there a long time but is definitely not lacking. The facilities are great. The staff are very helpful and seem happy to be there. The live music in the lobby is a plus and so is the bar. We have been here for many events, and they always do a great job catering. Rooms are a bit outdated, but they are working on that. They are still comfortable.
Excellent value for your money. Well appointed very clean rooms. Friendly gracious staff and delicious food. The convention center is very efficient and serves very good meals quickly. I would highly recommend the Riverside. Always plenty of parking too.
My only dealings with the Riverside Hotel have been is trying to run events using their facilities. The rooms, staff, and amenities are all great. So as a guest I would recommend them any time. If you are running a local convention or event, I would take you business elsewhere. They do not have the layout to be a convention center, makes it awkward for attendees to be where they need to be when they...
I went there for a conference. Room was very dimly lit, but there was plenty of space. They are currently remodeling so there was construction noise but not too bad. Had lunch at the restaurant and the food was good.

This was by far the best hotel experience ever. Staff is extremely friendly, and the room was amazing! I’ll definitely come back and recommend again and again! Also Birdie at the front desk was amazing! They deserve all the recognition.
Could easily be 5 stars but they couldn't get my room ready although I asked for it a day in advance. Nice rooms and gym. Pet friendly. Don't like valet parking but at least it was relatively quick, but still had to wait, which is why I don't care for valet parking.
From the time you pull up, to the time you pull out, the staff at the Inn at 500 Capitol are amazing. The Inn is clean and neat and very cute. Definitely says high end get away meets everyday meetings and functions. Rooms are clean and decorated wry cute. We will be back.
Stopped here for a night and service was great. Valet was friendly and front desk was amazing upon getting checking in. Complimentary glass of wine/snacks upon arrival. Room was modern, clean and very spacious. Beds comfy. Packs of ice available. Cool art and decor. Cute touches by housekeeping. Towels wrapped like fans and etc. The 3 downfalls are… 1) No fan in the bathroom so it got steamy and hot...
I did an overnight at the Inn at 500 and was very pleasantly surprised about how much I enjoyed the stay. The initial welcome was smooth, quick, and the welcome drinks and snacks were a nice intro. My room was spacious, very clean, and had a fun travel motif. Loved the balcony and the free non-alcoholic beverages everytime I wandered downtown. The location is great for the gardens and museums, and...

This is with out a doubt the best motel we have ever stayed. The facility is really nice, but the staff is phenomenal. We will definitely stay here again. Just fantastic.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn while my wife was completing a work event over the weekend. The accommodations were nice with a contemporary feel. They allow dogs and even have a dog waste station, both big pluses for us. However, a couple of things were missing to earn that fifth star. First, we asked for an extra pillow but didn't get it, the room didn't come with any extra blankets, the TV was difficult...
Amazing room for the price!! Couldn’t believe how nice the room was. Great service. Very convenient. Clean. Bed was super comfy. Would stay here again, for sure.
One of the best options for families in the Boise area. Our deluxe room had 2 queen beds plus a foyer with a sofa suitable for sleeping. The 5 of us were comfortable and everyone slept well. You can often find deals that include breakfast - and you will want to make sure you get one of those. Breakfast is more than a cheap pile of cereal and waffle mix.
We stayed back in February 2018. The staff was friendly and served everyone at breakfast as if it was a restaurant. Front desk was great also. The pool was nice and a great place for the family to share some memories. Our room was so comfortable and there were extra pillows! I loved the nice bathroom with upgraded modern sink, fridge and microwave included with our room - so convenient when you have...
I stayed here overnight to take early flight out in the a.m. This hotel is very modern well-put-together, very clean and well worth the money. The only thing that I do not like is that when you take a shower the shower stall gets very sleepy and you can fall which I almost did so be cautious when taking a shower hopefully they can give you a bath mat or something so you won't slip. I highly recommend...

I stayed here while in town for my friend’s celebration of life. Lisa helped set up a block of rooms for visiting family and friends. I wanted a comfortable spot close to The Refuge where we were meeting friends and checked out AirBnb options too but am glad I ended up here. I will give this team nothing but glowing reviews. We just did a company conference at this location and they were amazing! The staff is incredible. Very kind and willing to work with us! Great hospitality. The room was clean and very large. Nice kitchenette and seating area. The hallways are a little dark and can be confusing but overall because of great staff service A+!
I usually stay at the other hotel chain and by now, it’s mostly because I’m used to the process and the customer service. Having said that, I thought I had checked in here using the app but I missed a step to complete that. Regardless, it would not have mattered, as many Marriott chains are not yet fully equipped with the phone/app key technology. In-person check-in was easy and fast; front desk clerk...
The stay has been amazing! So close to pride festival this year only a mile or so away. The food is of course very good for a hotel. Eggs were a bit plastic like, but I won’t peg a star down for that since it’s outside of their control when they have to make so much. The waffle was nice and crispy as well. All together the rooms are very nice as well. Would recommend coming here for sure! 😊
Room seemed nice.. however the tv didn't work. It definitely wasn't a quiet place either.. don't expect to sleep past 5 am. The breakfast wasn't anything to talk about either.. runny scrambled eggs, cereals and waffles scattered all over. Had to ask to even get a plate and silverware.. if I hadn't gotten the room for a lower than usual price I wouldn't of stayed. Overall disappointed

Great hotel! I stayed there for 3 nights. There are rooms on the first floor that have windows to the inside of the hotel. I couldn't have a room without a window showing outside. Price was great. Hotel is clean but a little dated. Pool was nice and warm and hot tub was extra hot which I love. Contenenal breakfast doesn't get much better. 3rd time I've stayed here passing through.
When booking my trip I read reviews on all 3 star hotels in the area. This Best Western hotel was the best for the price and quality. I stayed in an outside room for the first night and switched to an inside room for the remainder of my 6 day/5 night stay. Loved the quirky nature of the hotel - we had the Swiss Family Robinson room which had a treehouse as the bedroom! The shower came out the trunk of a faux elephant! Incredible! We loved the spa bath and free sparkling cider. The free breakfast was excellent too.
Place is very clean and rooms are amazing and in great condition. We go there every year to celebrate our wedding anniversary. They serve good breakfast, they bring it next to your door depending on a time you ask them for. We never had a problems with our stay.
Stayed in the sleeping beauty, and it was an unforgettable experience. They really did a good job with all the rooms. The cinnamon rolls they delivered for breakfast tasted like they came right from a bakery!
You want an experience with your mate / partner pick one of these rooms. They are so much fun and you can let your imagination run wild. The staff is very knowledgeable and they make your visit fun. They provide you with all that you need plus some, even if it is mustard at 2 in the morning.
I love this place so much. The staff is amazing and will work with you to make your experience absolutely fantastic. The rooms are beautiful, the tubs are great and you will have the best time here. You can go in and tour the rooms every day from 1-3 and I highly recommend it. The Modern Hotel is trendy, retro and non-pretentious all at the same time. The restaurant food was excellent. It has an intentional 1940s or 50s vibe, which is a lot of fun. I could easily walk to the Boise Center and other downtown locations.
This is the place to stay in Boise. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and spotless and the towels were large and soft. The walk in shower was amazing and well appreciated after spending the day seeing the sights of downtown Boise. The location is perfect. The complimentary breakfast was delicious

Great place to stay in Boise. Rooms are nice and breakfast is good. Also it's within walking distance of the whole downtown area. Always was able to find a space in the parking lot for when I did have to drive. you're staying in Boise and actually want to see the city you can't go wrong here.
This was a very clean, well-located, and hip Hyatt Place. Almost everything we wanted to do/see in Boise was within walking distance of the hotel. I really enjoyed the bar / restaurant in the lobby (the cocktails were fantastic) as well as the free breakfast. The gym was small, but clean and empty. We utilized the laundry room and it was also clean and empty. When we needed to checkout early (not related...
When you enter the building the people the counter extremely nice. It would have been good to know prior to booking that parking is an additional $16 a night. A little pricey considering how much you pay for the room as it is. There's a consistent chirping in the room that never stops and makes it hard to sleep. Other than that the rooms are nice and clean.
Check-in was quick and easy. Front desk was professional and friendly. Rooms were modern and clean, though smaller than other places but still enough for 2. Breakfast covered all the bases. Walking distance to many restaurants. Overall a good experience.

Room was nice and spacious. Pretty clean. In a nice location close to many things. Front desk was great for check in and check out. Only disappointing thing was when calling to get more towels and washcloths was put on hold over 30 minutes, had to walk down and just got excuses when we had asked over 30 minutes prior to calling. Very inconvenient.
This is a pretty good place to stay, the building and rooms were clean and nice. They have a big pool as well. The breakfast here was decent, but the waffles and the french toast were really dry, and I had to use a lot more syrup than normal. The water in my shower also took almost 5 minutes to warm up, regardless of the time of day I used it.
We stayed one night and our room was very spacious and clean. It had two queen beds and a sofa (that folded out to a bed). which allowed my teen boys to each have their own beds.; which is always a plus. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating when we asked for more blankets and pillows, and they were very welcoming when we first came in. Would definitely stay there again
I’ve been to a few Hyatt locations over the years, but this one has made me question my loyalty to Hilton and Hamptons. Great staff, modern atmosphere as always and the amenities at the location were solid. Spacious suites with large TV and couch and a 24hr menu, and a open-late bar. The gym was small but useful. I would definitely stay here again.
The staff is very friendly and provided excellent service. Despite having to leave early in the morning before the complimentary breakfast at 6 am, the staff still prepared some of the food earlier so we can get a small bite prior to leaving for a long trip. Great hotel!
The room was nice. There weren't too many TV stations for children. Breakfast was not bad, but I've had better with more variety. I wish there was a jacuzzi, but the pool is good.

We spent the weekend for a much-needed staycation. This is the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed at, and every staff member from front desk to housekeeping was friendly. I frequently stay in this hotel from Aug 2017 till Feb 2018. Average 2 weeks stay each month. In general good place to stay extended of period. Fresh breakfast & week day evening social light dinner. For recent Feb 2018 stay, I felt their room service degraded. During my 2 weeks stay, one day for each week my room wasn't cleaned. Few time missing floor towel at bath tub.
Killer big rooms, killer big breakfasts, killer awesome pool. Great time for everyone. Love their big suites. Makes it nice for my large family.
I enjoyed my stay. Very friendly and room was nice and clean. The only issue was the pool and the hot tub we're cold and they didn't fix it the 4 days we were there.
My wife and I stayed there on our honey moon. Just recently we went back for our 5 year anniversary. We really liked it, it is a nice lobby with nice suites and very clean. We didn't sleep as well on the bed this time, we are used to memory foam, but I can't blame the hotel for that. We enjoy our stays there very much.
I give 5 stars when I would not hesitate booking a property next time I am in town. The lobby area was done with high quality materials and they even have a pool table in a game room. The rooms are nothing fancy, typical Homewood. Staff is excellent, very friendly.

The rooms are gorgeous, the pool amd hot tub are great, customer service was awesome. The location and access to it is awesome for being in downtown. There was A LOT of kids, so it was a bit loud and difficult to relax in the hot tub amd there was quite a bit of Children yelling and running in the hallways, but it stopped at a decent hour.

There is a reason why they call this a cheap hotel. You get the bare minimum. I came down for the breakfast they had around 730 but it was only 1 muffin, 4 oranges, and 5 apples so I decided to walk across the street to the gas station. I'm not sure when the breakfast starts but that definitely was very sad to see. The evening front desk clerk was a nice lady and very friendly but the overnight gentleman...
People are paying cheap rate for a night and wondering why you get cheap quality. There are better things to look after for a hotel room. Deadbolt lock was decent. Sturdy and somewhat reliable. I wedge the chair to the handle for extra precaution. The rooms are entered by going inside the building, unlike motel 6. This gives you 1 extra step security wise. That was enough for me to justify a good...
Rooms were fine, customer service was acceptable. Basic pay and stay. Only hang up we had was they reset our key cards both nights we stayed, and we're night owls. So we stepped out to have a cigarette (they don't have smoking rooms, which is fine) and ended up getting locked out. Had to have them reprogram them both nights. Not a huge deal, just kind of inconvenient.

Great place to stay. They had breakfast every morning and everyone there was very nice. The rooms were big and also very clean.
Had to raise to a 3 from a 1 for a simple respnse. I will gladly try the location again next time for business. Hair in my bed and all over shower. Typically great, was so tired didn't have energy to complain. Not the typical quality I expect for paying what it costs to stay. I stay at this location 3-5 times a month for businesses was very disappointed.
Suites have office/desk area. Mini-fridge, sink, small but powerful microwave. Great staff. Still can't get used to current prices for midrange purchases. Hey, it's capitalism.
Stayed here 5 nights in June and enjoyed most of the stay. Location was pretty ideal for what we had planned out. We had two single beds on the first floor the only complaint we had were the mattresses. They were so broken down it felt like 10 people have been jumping on the bed for 3 years straight. Lumpy and not very comfortable.
This was a great hotel. Greeted by friendly staff with fast, easy check-in process. Clean rooms with all the amenities. Only thing missing at this hotel is a jacuzzi by the pool.
Reserving rooms for my upcoming wedding has been a bit of a nightmare so far, but it did finally get done. I will consider changing my review after my family let's me know how their stays were; if it ends up being worth it to them, then it was worth the hassle to get things set up.

Room was passable. Everything is outdated and a little dirty but it was fine. No bed bugs or anything in our room. We found a half drank beer in the fridge but nothing gross. Don't expect a fancy place and it's fine.
Breakfast was delicious and had great variety. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff was really nice. Don't worry about those negative reviews. This place was about what we paid for and definitely got the job done, but was nothing fancy. We couldn’t even get our door open and the guy had to come and do some wizardry swipe and jiggle and kick move to get us in. We didn’t leave until we had to checkout just in case ?. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again though for a cheap price.
For the money, this place is absolutely decent. You won't confuse it for 5 star accommodations, but at this price, you already have an idea of what you're getting. The rooms are dated, but they're clean, and because they have cinder block walls on all sides, they're very quiet. At no point did anything on the property feel sketch or unsafe. Bring your own soap and shampoo, because what's provided is...
It was clean, comfortable, everything worked. Shower head at 5'6", a little low, but not too bad. Friendly staff. Flat screen TV about 40". Close to downtown.
Let's not mince words. You stay there cause it's cheap, not cause it's nice. That said it isn't that bad. The inside is nicer than the outside gives credit for. Nice enough staff, good for what I needed.
Great location. But this place is the definition of bare minimum. If It hadn't been a last minute booking I could have gotten a way better room for a similar price some place else.
Spacious and comfortable room, cleanliness is not perfect but still ok. They advertise "remodeled rooms" which is in fact not completely true. The building is dated and so are also the facilities inside the rooms. A few things are just upgraded visually which is a good thing, of course. Overall, a nice motel for the price.

The property is great and in a great location. Accidentally locked myself out and the owner was fantastic and helped me with no issues
We've stayed here three different times and have always been impressed by the home and surrounding Boise area. Comfortable rooms. Walkable to downtown for great restaurants.
We planned to stop in Boise on our drive from Seattle to Salt Lake City. We loved the Boise Guesthouse so much we returned a week later on our way home. On our first visit, we stayed in the Animal Studio, and on our second we stayed in the Travel Suite. The accommodations were stylish, clean and comfortable. The back courtyard is a great place to grill and hang out. A convenient walk to 8th St eateries...
My husband and I had the chance to stay in the Animal Suite. It was perfect for our situation. We had to work while we were in town and it had a desk that worked perfectly for our needs. We had a chance to talk with some of the staff and they were all very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be staying again in the future.
We had a great 1 night stay here, would definitely recommend staying here, it’s right next to the main downtown and also a little north so near Hyde Park and Camel’s back park and much quieter and nicer than a stay at the hotels that are around downtown and they also have free parking. They have a nice kitchenette and various extras like a yoga mat. Check in was super easy, will stay here next time...
My husband and I stayed at the Boise Goesthouse for 2 nights. First time in Boise...great location within walking distance to parks, the Capitol and so many good restaurants. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable with a spacious outdoor seating area. We appreciated the extra touches such as bath salts, coffee and creamer. We loved Boise and would stay here again.
