Hampton Inn & Suites Phoenix Chandler Fashion Center

I stayed at this property from June 25–29, 2023, while traveling for work with Aspen Dental. During my stay, I woke up one morning with what appeared to be a bug bite. I immediately reported the issue to the front desk. Instead of taking appropriate action, such as offering to move me to another room or conducting a proper inspection, the staff simply stated they would vacuum the room. No follow-up, no concern, and no accountability.

The room was extremely dated—old furniture, worn carpet, and zero attention to modern cleanliness standards. When I removed the sheets from the bed, I discovered blood stains directly on the mattress. There was no protective casing on the mattress—something that should be standard for any hotel, especially one under the Hilton name. Blood stains on a mattress are a classic sign of bedbug infestation, and I pointed this out to the front desk. They did absolutely nothing. I have photos of both the blood-stained mattress and the bite on my hand.

Months later, in September 2023, I discovered a bedbug infestation in my own home. Based on the timeline and severity, it is highly likely that I brought them home from this hotel. I have been dealing with the physical, emotional, and financial toll of this ever since. I filed a formal complaint with the Arizona regulatory board and never received any meaningful response. Even worse, my original review of this incident was mysteriously deleted.

So I’m posting this again: If you value your health, your belongings, and your peace of mind—do not stay here. This hotel failed on multiple levels, and guests deserve to know the truth.

This hotel is gross. Its old the rooms are night cleaned well. It needs a DEEP cleaning. Beds are HARD. This hotel gave me an ick. Was booked for 5 nights only stayed 1 night. NEVER go here.
