This was one of the best experiences we've had as a family. Very family friendly and had a couple of complementary activities for kids. The rooms, pools, and restaurants were impeccable as was the service. Right on the beach and a great location. Also, how cool is it they have a complementary Mercedes test drive? You can borrow a Benz once, for 4 hrs.

I’m only writing this review because Chi was the best server I’ve had in Florida hands down. We felt very welcomed and accommodated. The patio bar was such a relaxing place to enjoy lunch and drinks. We came back the next day and luckily got Chi again. We just booked another trip back for new years.

So what this hotel lacks in physical appearance and technical things it makes up for in service. The staff was all phenomenal! The room was clean but in need of some TLC. Breakfast and the people serving every morning were wonderful! Pool and hot tub area are need of attention. Location is perfect also. Our 5 night stay was incredibly comfortable. The kitchenette in the suite made all the difference. Great for reheating food in the microwave or even cooking some light lunches on the stove. Well, we stayed here for a Business Trip. And for that reason it was perfectly fine. The breakfast was good as well and the Staf was very kind to us. But still you can see that the Hotel has a long time on his back and the furniture is in a "worn" condition.

Breakfast was a good solid meal every morning. And a pretty good selection to choose from. Biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, banana bread, home fries, peaches and apple juice were my favorites.

Adaquate. Functional, clean room, good service, good breakfast. The hallways weren't air-conditioned, and were very uncomfortable. The pool was extremely cold, and looked unkept. The rooms are very basic. On the plus side, it's probably the cheapest hotel on the island, but if you can afford it, I would suggest looking into a higher class of hotel.

From heart warming hospitality through the door to good conversation at happy hour. Dave and Julie were tremendous host, checking to make sure everything was all good but not too much. Any concerns were handled immediately such as making dinner reservations for us. And catering to any food allergies was no issue at all. Been coming here since I was 8 years old. Everyone is so nice and you can relax at the pool and walk to places very easily. Highly recommend for a young family, it's such a fond part of my childhood and even now as an adult, Oceans is still pure magic 🥹

The unit was very clean and well stocked for a nice cozy experience. The views are spectacular. The downside is that the beds need to be changed or supported as they, with the exception of the twin, sink in the middle. The shower curtain should be replaced and the rugs all need to go as they hold a smell or have too much experience for such a nice place. We would return tomorrow if we could.

We enjoyed Katie's Light four years ago. My initial concern, not knowing traffic patterns, was that Katie's is located so close to one of the main roads in Fernandina Beach (Fletcher) but as it turns out, the speed limit is 30 mph and noise was not a problem. We loved KL for the decor, the upscale amenities, the privacy and the VIEW!!! Everything about our week staying at KL was perfect.

We have been to Katie's light twice & are now looking into a third trip! Absolutely love everything about it... location, easily accessible to everything, plenty of sleep space & very clean!

The unit we rented was very nice. Great ocean view and beach access! The grounds were kept well except for one thing.... Maintenance must have sprayed something to make all the cockroaches come out because they were everywhere on the first floor. They ended up dying within a day or so but no one came to clean them up for several days. Not very appealing to guests OR residents. Don't let this deter...

4 of us (me hubs, in laws) stayed in August. We felt super comfortable! Door to beach was maybe 5 minutes. We watched for bunnies and gopher tortoises along the dunes every day. Anything on the first or second floor may not be able to view the beach. Balconies are breezy, but the humidity can still kill the outdoors for any heat-sensitive guests (like me). Beautiful condos and views. Be careful in pool the lining is very rough! Rougher than most pools. The walk to the beach was very easy and tons of sea life around. *Pool lining may be high end but still scuffed up my knee so they are NOT smooth!
