We will never come back to this resort for vacation again!
As Marriott Vacation Club members and owners, we booked a 5-night stay here. On the check-in day (December 7th), they assigned us the noisiest room in the entire resort—a room in Building M that directly faces the Marriott hotel’s cooling towers, with 24/7 constant mechanical noise pollution.
We immediately returned to the front desk to request a room change. The receptionist was extremely reluctant, repeatedly stressing that they “could not guarantee” anything. Only after our persistent requests did he reluctantly move us to a room in Building A. This room faces a major road with heavy traffic noise, making it impossible to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view.
The receptionist promised to find us a quieter room and said they would follow up, but until now, no one has contacted us at all.
When we purchased our Club membership and ownership, we were told that as owners (not just regular members), we would receive priority and better service at any resort worldwide. The reality, however, has been the complete opposite.
We are very disappointed with this experience.
Each day multiple groups of people would come with their alcohol and their own speakers and blast music. At one point it was 2 to 3 speakers going at the same time. Myself and a few other people ended up leaving early. I wish this place had an adult/quiet pool for those that are here to just relax instead of get drunk and party.
If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation by the pool, this place is not it. (Unless you get to the pool before noon).
I gave four stars because the villas are spacious, kitchen is stocked with utensils and cookware, golf course views are beautiful, and overall a beautiful resort .
I went on this trip with a cold so i brought 3 gatorades with me. 1 for the drive there another for day 2 of our stay and the 3rd for our drive back.i put an orange and a blue one in the fridge when we arrived. The next day i went to get the blue one and it wasnt in the refrigerator. I asked my wife and she said she didnt drink it. A hotel employee had entered the room to drop off a few supplies. That person is the only person other than us that entered the room. Aside from stealing it was an invasion of privacy by a corporate employee
