The main building lobby is breathtaking, but then they have you stay in an apartment style housing around the building, so you are not actually staying the gorgeous lobby building. When walking into the apartment style building that layers the outside exterior, you may want to walk instead of driving. It's a disaster of a maze to find your building. Some what disappointed to be sent to an exterior...
Amazing place with large clean comfortable rooms. Dining experience was phenomenal!! The hotel Chef is fantastic (I love the fact that he makes all of the sauce. I could tell...tasted amazing!) Huge thanks to Dipal and all of the other servers and kitchen staff... they really made it the best dining experience Ive personally ever had! The reservation system (?) wouldn't allow us to make a reservation...
One of the best hotels I could ever recommend. This hotel has a bit of an old-fashioned style on the inside, but regardless of one’s taste it is absolutely gorgeous. Management is some of the best I’ve ever seen, the staff are friendly and caring from the general manager to the bell boys, from the restaurants staff to the front desk, and more. There are three styles of rooms: the tower rooms in the...
This was the most relaxing vacation spot to have family oriented. The amenities are too many to list world class service service with a smile. Every valet was helpful. Every room was clean. The food was six extremely well done. The amenities are exquisite with the gym, the hot tub the pool the location is fantastic, the plethora of restaurants and shops and close distance to the city Creek mall and...
facilities large and clean and everything available you could need as far as dining on site whish is very convenient. trolley runs right outside hotel in free zone very convenient to get to temple square etc.
Outstanding experience. This property is beautifully cleaned and maintained. It's been continually updated throughout. Pay a little extra for one of the upgraded rooms. Pool and spa area excellent. Common areas are great to relax after a long day with fireplaces and comfortable clean furniture. Room was upgraded and clean. Bedding is some of the best I have slept on in years. Hands down. Truly the best hotel I've ever been to. But then again it was my first 5 star hotel visit. Employees are welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and room service food was very high quality. Pool and jacuzzi was well maintained. Overall looks of the hotel looked classy and luxurious. The outdoors of the hotel was definitely a great part to take photos during the snow. Definitely plan to visit again soon
My wife and I returned to the Grand, after a couple of years, but this time just for breakfast. Some updates to the parts of the dining area, but it remains most elegant. We love love love this hotel! It's simply exquisite and most definitely highest class. The floors, the walls, the furnishings and the lighting are luxurious. If you have a chance, you must stay the night or nights!!
I had brunch with my best friend Maddie this last Sunday. We sat at the bar which I think is the best seat in the house because you're slightly above everyone and you don't have to deal with everyone walking around you like you do on some parts of the floor. The entire room was clean well lit warm and inviting. A little sparse on art but the arts there is interesting. A very nice, very handsome man...
I really enjoyed staying here the few times I did. The view & landscaping is really quite nice. I had an optician’s rep trunk show thing in the main ballroom. It was a lot of fun & the food was really good. It’s very organized & the staff is very professional. Plenty of parking below in the parking garage area. The staff is thoughtful & the hotel is very clean & stylish, but not overdone at all. Excellent
Might be the best hotel in the valley. Large rooms with sitting area. Well equipped fitness room. Fantastic lobby area. Really over the top. Almost like going into a castle. Groups in formal attire going in and out... Free internet, huge closet, robes, pools, bath tub and shower... all very nice.
You get what you pay for and at Grand America you get a lot! Service is awesome. Everyone is a trained pro. Courtyard is so nice (especially in the spring). Great event spaces. Their style is a little grandiose, but it's nice.

Large comfortable rooms in a hotel that’s a short walk from restaurants, the shopping centre and the Mormon temple and museums. There’s also a nice pool and jacuzzi. If you book parking in advance it’s only $13 per night.
This is one of our favorite places to visit. The room was very clean, quiet, and the bed & pillows were very comfortable. The chef, Haydar, made our wedding anniversary extra special with a special dessert of an incredibly delicious butter cake topped with fresh made vanilla ice cream & huckleberries. Breakfast was full of delicious flavors. My husband ordered the western omelette & I choose the avocado...
Nice classic property in the heart of downtown. Well maintained property. Restaurant food was good but decore is dated. Decent breakfast buffet. Nice pool and adequate fitness facilities. Bizarre automated curtains in the rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Very pleasant stay! I enjoyed my time at this property, staff was very nice and we got a room upgrade to the 18th floor! Location is very convenient for getting around. The only thing I didn’t like was that the bar said open daily until 11, we tried to go in at 9:55 and the staff told us it closed at 10 on Sundays. Maybe a sign just needs some updates?! He did recommend a bar across the street and...
Stayed for our doTERRA convention and the location was awesome. Worked out a few times in the fitness rooms which were better than majority of hotels I’ve stayed in. The fridge was broken which was the only downside. The manager at the front desk, Jim, was outstanding. He took it personal to be accommodating, friendly and attentive. I would stay there again just because of how friendly and professional...
Reserved a room for my birthday so that we'd have a place to walk to after celebrating downtown all night. Nice rooms and upscale atmosphere! Great service too. Would definitely stay here again. The staff was great!

Pleasant welcome on check-in. plenty of room (this is a suite hotel as the name states), nice to have a bar-restaurant and coffee shop.
We needed a nice place to stay with our two small dogs that wasnt going to charge a ridiculously high pet fee. As soon as I saw "Pet friendly. No pet fee" I booked it! I loved this hotel. The rooms feel like apartments because they are so big. The separation between the living room and the bedroom is great! Everything was clean and comfortable. The hotel is decorated for Christmas which is a nice touch...
I recently stayed here in a double Queen room for a conference with a friend and was quite pleased. The room was very big with a sitting area that had a desk and chair, a sofa, a soft chair, a wet bar and a separate door that could be shut to close off the area from the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows are soft, but worked well for me. The bathroom is a standard hotel bathroom with...
Rick at the front desk was extremely helpful. Gave us fresh warm cookies and bottled water upon arrival. He made us want to stay there everytime we would get a room. Great service. The rooms are very big and very clean and nice. The breakfast was $15 for the buffet which I was hoping it was complimentary considering the price of the rooms.
Excellent overall experience. Exceptional customer service. Clean room with great views. Restaurant is very good as well. Perfect location for walking to dinner with plenty of options.
Location is convenient to downtown, but a little difficult to get to with all of the one way streets. Staff is friendly and helpful. Pool is pretty nice. Suites are quite roomy and very nice, but I did have one issue. The beds are pretty hard, and all of the pillows are thick, too thick for me. Didn't get much sleep. Breakfast buffet is pretty decent, but it doesn't start until 7 AM, at least on weekends

Very nice and quiet. There were lots of events going on the weekend I stayed. They offer a continental breakfast and it was actually very tasty. The only complaint is the beds are VERY soft.
We had 3 rooms for 8 family members, one with kitchen for 5 nights while my husband & neice were in the hospital at the University of Utah. On weekdays we could easily walk up for visits. Shuttle also available. Good hot breakfast provided every day for all of us. Beautiful park like grounds for outdoor walks at Fort Douglas. We all would stay here again.
It is s great location right at the salt lake marathon start and nestled right against the wasatch mountains. The conference room is good but not much parking. Better if you can take trax up. There is also plenty of museums nearby. Another caveat though is that restaurants are sparse in this area.
The conference area is small but nice. I’ve also stayed here and the rooms are clean and continental breakfast is very good. Guest house in the front, conference center in the back. It’s well designed so you may not even know the other half of the building is there.
Visited the Guest house to visit my grandparents staying there. Seemed nice. The rooms were clean and well-organized. Only problem was there is little sound dampening, and my grandparents reported hearing the guests on the above floor pacing in the middle of the night.

very helpfull staff. even though the cancelation and rebooking via booking.com did not work at all, they tried to help us getting the "no show" fee back.
Clean rooms, equivalent to a one bedroom apartment!! Perfect for the few hours we needed until our morning flight. Very accommodating after having our flight cancelled.
It's a fine place to stay, the bed is comfy and good pillows, but absolutely the worst wifi, you will not be able to use it for work. The breakfast will feed you if you need it but you're better off eating elsewhere
Perfect location for going to jazz games, and doing anything downtown. Staff are really exceptionally warm and friendly. The rooms and the hotel were very clean and it was very comfortable. Loved their breakfast area great for mingling and or being alone.
Super clean and well laid out! ALSO, to the lady that complained about the men inside the lobby MINDING THEIR OWN BUSINESS cooking up some amazing food, drinking beers and having a good time…you need some happiness in your life. They are the friendliest people in the world. Hooked me up with some amazing food. Maybe try getting a rack a beer and join them instead of being a boring person.
It was nice and has a great location. If I could review the other customers I would not give a great review because the lobby smelled like pot when we arrived and they had cases of beer out making it feel like they were going to be there a while and we were invading their private party. We loved our room and customer service was awesome but we didn't get good sleep with so many guests making noise...

The hotel is fine, but old. Prepare for lots of little annoyances. The air conditioner in my room was extremely loud and made it a bit hard to sleep at times. There was no hot water at 9:30am on a Tuesday so I took a lukewarm shower. The shower faucet handle was loose but I tightened it with my own screwdriver. The clock on the bedside table was off by an hour and I couldn't figure out how to...
My wife and I stayed here for an overnight trip and had a very pleasant experience. We stayed in the "King Bed Room with a city view" and the room was definitely worth the price. We had to stay here when American Airlines had a delayed flight and we missed our connecting flight. The hotel staff was very friendly and helped us out with everything, despite being kind of harried dealing with a slew of difficult customers. The room was "just ok" . The lady that was working the front desk was awesome. She had no help when she needed it so things got put off. The reception staff are amazing, the rooms are comfortable and super clean. What could certainly be improved is the quality of breakfast, especialy the coffee is terrible.
This hotel is a hidden gem. There are a lot of options at the same price point in downtown SLC and I've stayed at many of them--this one has the best service of all. The staff is incredible and the property is very well run. The rooms are minimalist (which we love) and comfortable.
Rooms are very clean. However our room didn't have a bath just a shower. And didn't any get direct sunlight threw the window. Front desk was, always is great, and changed our room to one with a bathtub, and I'm told some sunshine. The room was smaller, far from the elevator, last room in the hall so the view was blocked by the roof of the front walk in. But having a bath is worth the sacrifice of not...
A couple of blocks south of the downtown core you might want to take an uber after dark if you are eating out. I often book Hiltons for the convenience of checking in, selecting a room from the floor plan and downloading a key to my phone through their app. Booked a junior suite, first suite was excellent but had a torturous low frequency drone I think maybe coming from the AC on the roof. Luckily...
Rooms are as advertised, beds super comfy, A/C, friendly staff and accommodating. This place is 100/10. Kid friendly, staff were kind to my family - judgment free. It was a rough start calling for reservations. I was on hold and hung up and was texting and dropped. I called directly to the Hyatt front desk and Hannah answered. When we arrived I was still worried, the front desk gals took great care of us and even bumped into Hannah, who continued taking care of us...
Nice hotel. Good for kids. It has a nice breakfast every morning. Rooms are reasonably quiet for downtown area. Your across the street from the gateway with lots to eat and a block off of the light rail. The pool is reasonably sized. The hot tub is a good hot tub to relax in. Some pieces of the hotel have a little wear and tear but nothing that should detract from your stay.
Great location downtown close to everything and easily walkable to restaurants or the trax go elsewhere in the city. Room was clean and quiet. Pool and spa was clean. The fitness center is impressive as well and has a Pelaton bike. Customer service was excellent! Our AC wouldn't drop below 70 on the first night and they provided us with a fan. Thankfully the air did finally lower but we were so thankful...
A very nice experience overall. The room was very clean and on the larger side. The staff were very nice and friendly. The free breakfast was very good everyday. Our air in the room was not working great but they did give us a fan to help.
The room was really big. It had two queen beds and a fold out couch. They provided really nice shampoo, conditioner and body wash and offered other sanitary items like toothbrushes and toothpaste. The pool was nice and clean. The hot tub was a nice temperature, but the bubbles did not work. They offered a Continental breakfast with eggs, sausage, bagel, cream cheese, cereal, orange and apple juice...
Arrived a little early and still were able to get our room quickly. Rooms are big and spacious. Everything is clean. Jacuzzi was nice. Staff is very friendly especially Robby and Rita. Staff able to get us a taxi to the airport for a good price. Very walkable to a lot of shops and restaurants.

I never write reviews but I felt the need to for this place. Prior to booking my stay I read the reviews and was afraid to check in as I was expecting some roach infested, garbage smelling hotel. When I arrived the hotel did have a somewhat stale smell to it but nothing like what...
Kudos to the front desk clerk for being fantastic to work with. The hotel and room was clean and comfortable. There was a little noise from the airport and the highway, but nothing that disrupted our sleep. The hot breakfast was great. There is no elevator, but only two floors, so that's not bad for those who are able. All in all, I still give it 5 stars.
I parked my car here for extended time while I traveled. It was 4$ cheaper than airport parking, only 5 miles from the terminals, and the shuttle service was free. It was easy to sign my car in and the shuttle was quite punctual. I got off my flight, picked up checked luggage and called the shuttle. It picked me up within 5 minutes and I was driving home 10 minutes later.
Here for truck driving school. The housekeeping department does a good job of keeping fresh towels in the rooms and cleaning up every day. The staff is very nice. The shuttle drivers are a bit scary. Would like to see them take a defensive driving course. Overall, the staff is nice. The rooms are clean although the overall motel is needing upgrades on things such as up faucets, shower heads, flooring...
The hotel was very accommodating when our flight was cancelled (airline voucher, had to come here). Our room was clean, and for the most part average. I usually don't bother writing reviews, but I was so pleasantly surprised by this place I felt I had to. I was exhausted and frustrated from travel, and everyone was kind, helpful, and accommodating. Very friendly staff. My flight came in late. This is a good place to spend a night before going on my trip. It's very close to the airport and they do offer airport pickups. I booked a car at the airport. They sent me back to the airport to pick up my car the next morning. I didn't have to get a taxi and pay extra fee for that.
I was very impressed by this hotel. Came into town for a concert and this was the closest to the venue and for a great price. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows. This hotel is starting to show signs of being well used. Our room was cleanish, but the office chair was dirty, there were spots on the floor, our wash cloths were clean but stained. Not a bad place to stay. You can typically count on a Hilton brand hotel to be consistently a little better than average. This location is right at the mouth of the canyon on your way to Park City. Overall a great hotel. Very clean and spacious, the breakfast was very good. View from our room was very vast looking west. Loved the waffles because they came out so crispy. The issue I had was bad cell service even with using Verizon. It is close to the mountains so probably why.
I'm only giving 5 stars to the front desk staff, we were greeted upon on our arrival with the utmost professionalism and warm welcomes. The staff was great. The accommodations were only what you would expect from an affordable, 'nothing special' hotel. However, it was very inconvenient that they were selling their old furniture to make way for new. I understand that such things must take place to keep a so-so hotel from ending up a shoddy hotel. I highly recommend this hotel. The front desk receptionist, Toffee (?), was warm and accommodating to a medical need I experienced. She went above and beyond to help me out and it made me feel cared for. Not many hotels I’ve been to have delivered this type of genuine service. I hope Toffee gets special recognition for such outstanding service and compassion.
Beautifully appointed handicapped room on the main floor. Comfortable king size bed. Great pillows. My only complaint has to do with their shuttles to and from the airport. Definitely not setup for handicapped folks to get in and out of. They are to be commended for getting lyft rides in place of the shuttle to the airport.
Very nice comfortable room and bed, well appointed lights and furniture. Gym is better than the most and the pool with jacuzzi a plus.
The hotel is good for a short stay, but I wouldnt recommend it for more than a few days. This place looks like it’s falling apart on the inside. Great getaway place for couples. Not for kids and plan to eat out. Resistant next to property serves a great breakfast. Lunch and dinner are harder to find if you don't care for the bar scene. Hotel is comfortable and clean. The service was up and down depending on who was at the desk. I probably won't return but overall a fun onetime stay.
Cool antique boutique hotel! Loved the staff and the bed was Hilton comfy!! Lobby and vibe are fun and memorable. The views vary by room and some are not the best so if a view is important to you ask for one with a view. 100% highly recommend and I would happily stay again.
Our first room was super small, no couch, no desk, etc. We called the front desk, and they switched us to a great room. Friendly service with a beautiful, nostalgic setting. Parking is a public, paid lot, $25 for 24 hrs. A great breakfast place, Eggsburgh, is accessible from the hotel. Lovely historic place to stay.

This was the lowest cost hotel in the area and I chose it for that reason. The room was clean, quiet and ample towels were provided which isn't always the case for a bargain hotel. Shuttle to the airport was a nice touch that I wasn't expecting either. Breakfast lacked any protein but I did appreciate a quick bowl of oatmeal.
Great for if you just need a place to sleep, breakfast was okay, nothing noteworthy. But adequate. Our bed was clean and made, the rest of the room they made it as nice as they could, folded the top tissue in the tissue box, towels were nice. Definitely an older hotel, good price though. Looked nice. Beds were decently comfortable. The sink had a leak so we were going through a lot of towels.
Although inexpensive and having an excellent location in central SLC, and with a competent and polite staff on reception and the cleaning teams, this motel is struggling to stave off the lowering quality of its physical structure. And scratch the 'free' breakfast, which is hardly worth the effort to crawl out of bed. Still, a good deal on a limited budget. Heck, I've stayed there around 18 times...

The service at this Motel 6 was excellent! Bishnu and his family were incredibly kind -- not only did they make me feel at home during my stay in Salt Lake City, but they went above and beyond: About a few hours after continuing my journey east, they called my mobile phone: I had left my laptop in the room! The owner Bishnu (or, Bob) went out of his way to mail it first thing that Monday, and it arrived...
My husband and I, and our two kids stayed here for two nights. It's an awesome place to stay. Very inexpensive. Every employee I interacted with were very nice. Great customer service. The manager was very friendly. Parking lot and outside area was secure. Only one way in or out. They give you a parking permit and they have someone at night walking around to check on things. This is defiantly the place...
I generally stay one or two nights in Motel 6s on the way to somewhere else. This location was no exception. It was easy to find, has a great pet policy, and conveniently located near the interstate. The room was clean, but a little run down. Considering this location is asking for $100 damage deposit, they should acknowledge the previous damage, so as not to get charged for someone else’s carelessness...
I was very impressed by the excellent customer service provided by Angela at the front desk. She was very sweet, knowledgeable, friendly, respectful and very kind. I have not run into all that many employees at any business in general that have put forth the effort and exceeded my expectations like this very often, and I will definitely be booking here again in the future if I needed to. Thanks for...
My friend had the manager call and thank her for being a good guest! All in all he has been good to us and we appreciate everything they have done for us!
The manager has been nice. The rest of the employees are rude. We were in a room that was sapposed to have a microwave and mini fridge. The fridge was there but missing a rack and the rails to hold items in the door. The microwave was missing completely. I rate 3 stars strictly because the manager took care of us.

How can I give a five star rating for a 2 star hotel? Because it exceeds expectations. The price is a bargain. The free breakfast and wifi are great. It is convenient to many places. When I visit SLC it's the place I always stay.

It was clean, bed was comfy and breakfast was great! The staff was also friendly. I was worried because of other reviews but I needed something in my price range and booked here. We had a king sized bed suite and I love that there were fresh towels and supplies for us. I felt like they do a good job with service and would stay again.
Parking lot is small. Lited # of disabled parking. Always occupied. No spaces available near the entrances. Had to park in the small parking lot adjacent to the inn. In room phone doesn't work. They said have to call a technician to fix. Have to use cell phone to contact front desk. Still a decent choice for budget accomodation. Within a short walk to Salt Palace, that's a plus...
No housekeeping even though we were there for three days. The free breakfast was only available until they ran out of food, which was well before the posted end of the serving time. Bed was comfortable and the location was ideal
Everything about this hotel is excellent except this is a remodeled building. Our room only had 1 a/c vent. Room took 3 days to get to comfortable temp and suite never fully cooled down.
We've stayed here twice. Traffic outside makes it a little noisy but nothing we couldnt handle. Great breakfast. Room was clean, definitely coming again ?
This hotel is old and smelled really bad in one part so they were nice enough to move us. It was dimly lit every where and the drains were VERY slow but they did comp us for it, even though I didn’t ask them to, and that was pretty cool. They moved the lobby lemon water in early but when I asked about it, she gave me a free bottled water. That was nice. The hotel was lacking but the staff...
