The 4 of us were here for 5 nights visiting family. The gardens, pool and surrounding area are beautifully maintained
The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was always a source of discussion as it’s quite different to what we would have in Australia. Lots of choices though and the staff are great! Very quiet location
The rooms were very clean, the scenery/landscaping was incredible, the staff was wonderful, breakfast was great & amenities were plentiful! I will be using them for ALL future trips to visit family! Thanks to all the friendly & accommodating staff!!!
Great room, great area, friendly staff. Definitely the top of the line of all Best Western hotels I have stayed at. Right off the 101, few miles from the beach in Goleta. And a quick trip to downtown Santa Barbara
Comfortable bed and pillows, quiet, beautiful lobby and outdoor area, great full breakfast, nice staff, and one of the more affordable hotels in the expensive area of Santa Barbara.
Fanatastic view from the courtyard.
Awesome breakfast to top it off too! Highly recommend

Hotel Milo Santa Barbara
Santa Barbara, 202 West Cabrillo Boulevard 🧭 Map
Pool: Pool, Heated pool
Small rooms but a great view to the beach. Thin walls so you will hear your neighbours and their bathroom fans.
A small but nice gym. Pool and hot jacuzzi. Recommended!
It was not so isolated so you heard the television from the neighbours but I slept well anyhow. The gym is clean, the pool is heated and we also used the bubble bath
This my birthday trip and I'm crushed my two day plans are not going to happen but I'm so incredibly HAPPY and fortunate that the staff helped. I will absolutely be rescheduling to spend my stay at this location
Nice place to stay and the location is perfect. Friendly staff at checking in. There are several restaurant nearby. The room was small but we had a wonderful view
We only stayed one night but I would like to stay one night more
Then we notice that there’s a lot of street noise and a lot of local bird noise (quite literally sounded like a pack of chickens not exaggerating***) I would recommend requesting a room off the street, because we had to pull the luggage cart about a block down the Main Street through a restaurant

Belmond El Encanto
Santa Barbara, 800 Alvarado Place 🧭 Map

This property really has to be experienced. It is above the city and the main beachfront shopping areas of Santa Barbara, but worth at the very least one night of your time in SB
The property is so classic and over the top on staff attention. The views, the cocktails and food were exceptional. I call this relaxed luxury - don't miss it
Beautiful views, very helpful and friendly staff, great location for a wedding! High up in the hills that create the American Riviera
The restaurant at this resort is amazing. They have the most wonderful views, good service, food and cocktails
It is amazing place for dinner and desserts. This place offers a beautiful panaromic view of Santa Barbara.... Would love to go back there for sunset and sunrise captures ....staff was amazing and friendly ...
Beautiful, cozy and comfortable. One of the best hotel stays I have had in all my travels. Fantastic amenities, wonderful staff, be sure to check out this hotel during your stay in Santa Barbara.

Amazing Value! Renovated! Great Location!
Santa Barbara is pretty expensive so finding a hotel for a reasonable price, that’s decent is hard. This place is in the heart of everything and across from a shopping mall
Needed a break from everyday ruckus. Decided on a whim to go to SB. The stay was exactly what was needed. The receptionist was easy to talk to, and thry made sure to give us information on the town
The balcony faces the courtyard, which has a fire pit and pool that gives a cozy look. You really can’t go wrong with booking here
We enjoyed the accommodations very much. The room was clean and newly remodeled. The bed was really comfortable. I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a peaceful nights rest.
The recently renovated rooms are comfortable, and the balconies are nice and quieter than expected - though the rooms around the pool might be noisy at times
Hotel was great, the pool was probably the highlight for me as I rarely see 8ft pools that are also very warm to swim at night. Very clean and well maintained the rooms as well

Older hotel, but the room appeared to be totally renovated. Beautiful bathroom , all new furniture, working outlets by bed, new sliding door and screen that could actually slide easily, large balcony overlooking pool
Entire room, including balcony furniture, was spotless. Onsite restaurant was great for breakfast. We ordered an omelet online the night before, walked over and picked it up, and ate it on the balcony
It might be the nicest Best Western we've stayed in. Customer service was great, room was huge and nice (slightly dated decor) and location was great with plenty of food options within walking distance
It's not a big fancy resort by the water, but it doesn't cost $1,000+ a night, either. We will definitely stay here again on our annual trip to Santa Barbara
A wonderful place to stay on your way through Santa Barbara
This was frustrating and puzzling, as everything else we experienced here was fantastic. Why not have comfortable beds at a motel?! It makes no sense. The small room we got was cute & all we needed, but not the bed

Get a room that faces the courtyard (like #153) it opens up to the pool area and a really nice firepit!
Located a few minutes away from Isla Vista, this hotel is a boon for anyone wanting to visit a student attending UC Santa Barbara. Absolutely fantastic outdoor areas to hang out. Well-appointed and comfortable rooms
May I just say… After being treated like a 3rd class citizen by Caesar’s Palace Last week - it is such a breath of fresh air to be somewhere they treat you very well, have very nice rooms, and have plenty reasonable food and drink options on-site and within walking distance!!!
Thanks Marriott, always a pleasure!!!
Nice environment especially at night where you can enjoy a romantic time with your love one at fire pit. Spacious room with reasonable price, gymnasium and self service laundry available for guest

The hotel is located one block away from the edge of a massive and extensive outdoor preserve area that affords a hiking or running or walking option for everyone

Great place for dinner for special occasion. It's really on the pricey side, but the food was outstanding. I had short ribs...so tasty. The appetizer was sooo good, as was dessert. Servers were kind and professional.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary by having lunch here today at the Stonehouse. Everything, down to every detail was perfect. I ordered the grilled blackened salmon salad and my husband had the burger
The grounds are absolutely divine and you will want to give yourself at least 30-45 minutes to look around and take pics. A nice gentleman working there, took a couple of photos of us
I loved my salad so much and was surprised by the generous size of salmon. I also chose the mocktail "The Tropics"
You can't go to the Ranch with an attitude, you can't go in a hurry. Forbes ranks this piece of paradise #1 year after year. please get a drink at the Plow & Angel and go into the garden and be thankful for your life
Customer service is impeccable, grounds are stunning, food is delicious. There is nothing to not like.

So, thank you Hampton Inn in Goleta, for making out visit feel welcoming and comfortable. Thank you to the kitchen staff for your hardwork and making sure everyone was fed and happy. Like the elevator says, "Happy Sauce
Generally had a good experience here on the trip to Santa Barbara. The room is clean, quiet though a bit dated. It also has complimentary breakfast. It's about 10 mins drive to downtown area with many good restaurants.
Pros:
Clean rooms
very nice and helpful staff members. Cons:
Breakfast: They provide a variety of options like omelette, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, cream cheese and butter
Very nice faculty in a slightly rougher area than many expect. If you decide to go for a walk. Like typical California, homeless is an issue with a shelter and outreach locations within a block of the location
My husband and I felt the kindness and welcoming here! Sanitation was wonderful, everyone worked hard to make sure everything was spotless and clean! The rooms are wonderful, and they had all the necessary amenities we needed for our stay
Wonderful hotel! Located hidden inside a parking lot. From the street view the hotel appears to look like apartments, but upon entering the parking lot, you can definitely know you're at the Hampton Inn

We, along with 4 other couples) are already booking another stay with them in March. By then they hope to have a new lobby and lobby bar. A great place getting better. This is our Santa Barbara Hotel from here on out!!
Of all the positives the STAFF wins out. We travel often but the staff here is the best(valet (too many to mention) , cleaning, desk workers (Julia / Alyssa) manager (William) and GM(Chris)
ALL genuinely friendly, social and immediately responded to requests. Free Champagne at desk on weekend! Free Flavored water and coffee bar daily
Easy to walk to everything. No need to rent a car. Room and hotel lobby/ bathroom very well maintained. Attentive front desk staff
We recently visited Santa Barbara for the first time, moving our daughter into UCSB. We booked this hotel because of its location downtown
Great hotel in a really great location. So much within walking distance. We had a family emergency during our stay and had to leave early and the staff was very accommodating and made a difficult time much less stressful

I stayed in the pool view king room and it was huge! We had our own little patio view of the pool and the accommodation in the room was clean and up to my standards for this 3 star hotel
This classy and cozy little gem is by far the very best. No issue with extra pillows or towels what so ever. Clean and crisp at every turn and corner. The staff is courteous and attentive to all your needs and wants
Booked this inn on my California road trip. Was not expecting much and yet was pleasantly surprised. Nice clean rooms, nice patio area, great pool/hot tub area, amazing staff, extremely fair rates
Simple but solid motel little bit outside of the city centre of Santa Barbara. The common areas like pool and restaurant are nice. Rooms are quite spacious, clean and simple
Spacious well equipped bedroom, scenic balcony view over swimming pool courtyard. Well located with the option of taking a bus to the sea front. Plenty of restaurants and diners within walking range.
The Crocodile restaurant is excellent and makes it easy to be completely satisfied without ever leaving the grounds. I would love to stay here again and am happy I am here right now

Best place for the price in SB!
Living room space, refrigerator and coffee maker in room, ac/heat, nice bathroom, comfy bed. Very friendly accommodating staff. I did not use the heated pool but it looked nice
Clean, cheap, with fridge, microwave, right on the beach front! The pool is tiny, but heated, great for seniors and kids as the steps are gradual and the depth is 3-6ft. Half mile from State street!
The sun deck was great for working remotely. Free continental breakfast in the morning and 24/7 coffee and tea available in the lobby. 10 out of 10 highly recommend. I will definitely stay here again
Absolutely Perfect! Great customer service, kind people, Chris was very helpful and answered all my questions. My room was PERFECT!! Best view of the harbor and beach Quiet neighborhood
One of the best breakfasts (for a hotel)! I was to check in early. Overall I am very pleased with my stay. I'll be returning in the future with my family

I had the best stay at The Sandpiper Lodge!! The employees & manager at the front desk were extremely polite & helpful!! The rooms were nicely furnished and the beds super comfy. We had a great time at the pool too
Large rooms. Comfortable beds. Table & desk. Clean pool, jacuzzi & gym. Very friendly & helpful staff. Working vending machines with great options. Quite location. Located near shops, restaurants & convince stores.
The towels were thin and two washcloths had holes in them, not to mention that there was long dark hair intertwined in the towels and washcloths
I highly recommend anyone visiting Santa Barbara for business or pleasure to stay here, you definitely will not regret it! Competetive pricing for the rooms in other comparable hotels, but I would pick this one 10 out of 10 times!! 10 thumbs up!!!!
The maids were very sweet and did a fantastic job at cleaning
The walls were also very thin so I could hear everything that was going on outside or in the room next to me. Everything else about my stay was nice though, I would stay here again

Great central location in downtown Santa Barbara. The room was clean, spacious, and had a decent view of the happenings. The rooftop pool is small but there is a great view of the mountains
We just stayed at the Kimpton last night. The rooms were extremely clean and updated quite well. The location was perfect for shopping bars, restaurants convenient, stores, etc
The hotel is right in the center of so many kid-friendly things (ie Moxi Museum, SB Museum of Natural History Sea Center, and so many great restaurants). Finch & Fork for breakfast was great every morning
The bar had great service with friendly bartenders and staff. Sebastian the bellhop was very accommodating Personal and professional. I would recommend this hotel for downtown Santa Barbara anytime!
Recently stayed here with our little family of four for spring break and WOW was so impressed by this hotel
It has been tastefully redecorated, so spacious (we got two queen beds, plus a rolling crib), pool was heated to 80 degrees and only 3 ft deep which was perfect for our soon-to-be five year old to play! She stayed the first day in the pool for nearly 3 hours and slept like a champ

This place is great, nice rooms heated pool and spa. Kne block from the beach with convenient walking access to Santa Barbara coast and shopping. Love this inn definitely recommend it and will be returning.
We’ve stayed here twice, including with a big group (Porsche Club-Riverside). They were extremely accommodating and coned off some parking spaces for our group. Located a block from the beach
Furnishing and fixtures could use an upgrade. An in room mini fridge would also be a nice addition. Understanding that the hotel is older and has normal wear and tear which is to be expected
A lovely place for a reasonable price. Great hosts and great afternoon cookies :)
Comfortable rooms and very nicely set premises

Pretty architecture with many private gathering places, a quaint lobby (with a continental breakfast in the AM and Wine service in the PM). The pool and spa are a great comfort, too. Everyone on staff were very friendly
The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful in recommendations for local dining and sightseeing. The hotel grounds are beautiful and welcoming, and it is located within walking distance to the Funk Zone
A nice place to stay while in Santa Barbara. The rooms are good size and pleasant. They offer a nice breakfast at no additional charge as well as wine and snacks in the late afternoon/early evening
I am excited for an opportunity to book at Brisas del Mar again. The accommodations were roomy and comfortable with a full kitchen, dining area, sitting area, full size bathroom, and bedroom
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this awesome property. The wifi was strong, the rooms were pretty clean and comfortable, and the staff was super warm and friendly

A very nice, clean area around the hotel as well. If you go, I recommend walking across the street and taking a stroll along the beach. There are bike paths there as well if you are on wheels
(We also had both lunch and dinner at Conviva - the restaurant onsite - and found it over-delivered for both food and beverage. They have a great wine list!) We loved how centrally located the Inn is
We had a great stay at the Santa Barbara Inn. Our room overlooked the ocean and it was a peaceful time. The staff were all great, from front desk to housekeeping, restaurant crew and valets
They also took advantage of the hot tub and pool at night
My daughter's boyfriend is British, and when the parking guy told him the price to valet park (around $30), he almost choked. But then the guy told him where to park close by, and he said it was not big deal at all

We got a pool pass. It was such a good plan! The staff is so nice. They gave us a complimentary glass of wine and a beer. The pool is not big but my boyfriend and I were the only ones for an entire afternoon ☀️🥳🥳🥳🥳
I would 100% cone back to stay here because you cannot beat the location for the price, beautiful pool and other helpful amenities like the full shared kitchen
We loved our stay at the Waterman! Yes, the rooms are not big, but they are beautiful, clean & the bed is super comfortable!
The common kitchen & big table are perfect for a snack, a coffee/tea (free!) or even cooking yourself something! And the free poker chips to get glasses of rose/beer are a nice touch!
On top of that, the hotel is perfectly situated, 5 minutes walking from the pedestrian street...
Since this hotel is located near the highway, it does get noisy!
Tips:
- If the road noise from the highway is an issue, ask for some ear buds at reception! They were more than happy to hand me a couple packs
This was the perfect spot to stay in the Funk Zone. It was easy access to everything! The service was amazing. I accidentally dropped a bottle of wine in the lobby. I felt so horrible that I made a mess
There is a huge kitchen near reception where you can prepare and cook your own meals should you wish, and a large communal table for guests. We had a large room on the ground floor

We enjoyed our stay at the White Jasmine Inn. They are minutes from downtown, funk zone and the Santa Barbara Bowl. The host is very friendly and courteous. Great area to walk a great neighborhood
A cozy inn just a few blocks from State Street. The rooms are small, but clean, charming, and comfortable. Staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Was perfect for a one night get away
The breakfast was delicious! The beach is only a few blocks away and the local Mexican Restaurant we went to for dinner, was the best we've ever eaten! Highly recommend staying here and exploring the area! If you're expecting a Five star fancy hotel, this probably won't be your spot
Surprised my wife with a road trip honeymoon from Los Angeles to San Francisco, the White Jasmine Inn was the first stop on the list! Not only did we instantly fall in love with Santa Barbra; but we fell in love with the Victorian style home feel The White Jasmine Inn has

Great location, rooms were a bit old feeling and the walls are paper thin. Front desk staff were quite nice though. The pool was freezing despite it being warm outside and there's no hot tub.

The service was very professional and accommodating. The manager on duty yesterday and today was so helpful. I had a great experience. Thanks Orange Tree Inn
