The pool is kept warm so you can swim for a long time in comfort. Drinks and food by the pool are very good and the service is spectacular
When we arrived our room was ready. We got water at the reception desk. The walkways full of flowers, the gardens, the pools, the beach
Loved this place! It was one of the few places I've stayed that I never felt the need to leave the property (I did but didn't actually need to). The rooms were very comfortable and spacious
The distance to your rpm can be long but they have gold carts that can take you there and you can call them or just wait for a couple of minutes and one will show up
There are all sorts of lawn games available for adults and kids. Additionally there is a little man made sand box for the little ones. No play structure i could see
Parking is ridiculously expensive but you do need a car

Cannot be beaten for location! The restaurant was great! We ended up eating there way more than we expected! If you are lucky enough to be served by Omar you are in for a treat! He is absolutely the best! The rooms are big and spotlessly clean! The pool was awesome with plenty of shaded spots to lounge! Then across the road is a beautiful beach
Has WiFi but breakfast is not included. There is an all you can eat breakfast buffet that is fantastic but it is a bit pricey. The grounds are well maintained with lovely trees and grassy areas
Our room was inviting and comfortable, the pool was lovely and towels were stocked. Text to staff feature is a huge plus for simple questions about dining options and services
Clean room, comfortable beds, nice linens, great service, lovely pool and jacuzzi area, sprawling mission style hotel only 2 levels right on the beach with ocean views. There were no elevators to get to the second floor
The balcony had a beachfront view which was a bonus. The heated pool is amazing along with the hot tub when it got chilly at night
They even have a complimentary laundromat to wash all our cloths which is nice since we had a 10 day vacation. We didn’t do the spa but I’m sure it would have been excellent since everything else was excellent

When you say you will call someone back, it would just be appreciated that you follow through especially knowing I was billed twice for an expensive room. Nice hotel and in the best location
I like to think of myself as an experienced traveler and this place did not disappoint at all. Actually, it was probably one of my top hotel experiences period: from the hotel property, staff, and overall experience
Beautiful and delicious pastries! Get there early to get the best pick. Lots of sell outs at Goat tree. Rooms are beautiful and comfy. Right in the heart of the funk zone. Something for everybody.
I have to call out 5 amazing employees at the Hotel Californian: Alex, Kristos, Mercedes, and most importantly Adam. These individuals went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful
Amazing food and company! Lastly, the hotel is a perfect location as they are in the newly renovated “Funk Zone”. There are many new shops, restaurants, and bars in the area, so be sure to check them out!
_________ Told review: They billed me twice for one room and then wouldn't answer my phone calls and call me back to correct it. Ended up having to dispute it with my credit card company

The 4 of us were here for 5 nights visiting family. The gardens, pool and surrounding area are beautifully maintained
The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was always a source of discussion as it’s quite different to what we would have in Australia. Lots of choices though and the staff are great! Very quiet location
The rooms were very clean, the scenery/landscaping was incredible, the staff was wonderful, breakfast was great & amenities were plentiful! I will be using them for ALL future trips to visit family! Thanks to all the friendly & accommodating staff!!!
Great room, great area, friendly staff. Definitely the top of the line of all Best Western hotels I have stayed at. Right off the 101, few miles from the beach in Goleta. And a quick trip to downtown Santa Barbara
Comfortable bed and pillows, quiet, beautiful lobby and outdoor area, great full breakfast, nice staff, and one of the more affordable hotels in the expensive area of Santa Barbara. Fanatastic view from the courtyard.
Awesome breakfast to top it off too! Highly recommend

Older hotel, but the room appeared to be totally renovated. Beautiful bathroom , all new furniture, working outlets by bed, new sliding door and screen that could actually slide easily, large balcony overlooking pool
Entire room, including balcony furniture, was spotless. Onsite restaurant was great for breakfast. We ordered an omelet online the night before, walked over and picked it up, and ate it on the balcony
It might be the nicest Best Western we've stayed in. Customer service was great, room was huge and nice (slightly dated decor) and location was great with plenty of food options within walking distance
It's not a big fancy resort by the water, but it doesn't cost $1,000+ a night, either. We will definitely stay here again on our annual trip to Santa Barbara
A wonderful place to stay on your way through Santa Barbara
This was frustrating and puzzling, as everything else we experienced here was fantastic. Why not have comfortable beds at a motel?! It makes no sense. The small room we got was cute & all we needed, but not the bed

Great location with beach right across the street and state street, the pier, zoo, and the mission just minutes away. Quiet neighborhood at night so we could listen the the ocean all night long
The one on the property was fantastic and there are two locations to chose from. There is a beautiful pool and a spa where you have a stunning ocean view
There are gorgeous mosaic tiles, fountains and toasty fireplaces in many locations throughout the hotel. Across the street is beach front restaurant with the most amazing vibe and views
This place is so amazing and super cute. I stayed for one night as I had a wedding in the area. I must give a shout out to one of the staff members at the front desk
At check in we were treated like family. There is street parking available if you don't want to valet. There are several restaurants within walking distance

Went for an office Holiday party. Had to order at the bar but food was delivered to me and was delicious. Some of us shared it was ALL good. The decor is mid century modern boho
A beach-themed hotel, it was nice to be able to check out a local favorite for ourselves, and we were pleasantly surprised
It was where our friends and family congregated in the morning over breakfast, laid by the pool and caught up, and grabbed amazing drinks (props to the spicy margaritas)
The lobby/food area was very inviting, rooms were simple, and the pool is gorgeous!! Will definitely recommend it to our visiting friends and family
We recently hosted our wedding reception at The Leta and we had such a great experience! The event staff, Jessica and Terell, were so personable, warm, and helpful, and made our day so special! They helped us plan every detail and went the extra mile to make us and our guests feel welcome
We stayed in a patio suite and it was perfect! The staff was a dream to work with in terms of adding additional room blocks, outlining important things in the contract, and addressing any and all issues with our guests

This property really has to be experienced. It is above the city and the main beachfront shopping areas of Santa Barbara, but worth at the very least one night of your time in SB
The property is so classic and over the top on staff attention. The views, the cocktails and food were exceptional. I call this relaxed luxury - don't miss it
Beautiful views, very helpful and friendly staff, great location for a wedding! High up in the hills that create the American Riviera
The restaurant at this resort is amazing. They have the most wonderful views, good service, food and cocktails
It is amazing place for dinner and desserts. This place offers a beautiful panaromic view of Santa Barbara.... Would love to go back there for sunset and sunrise captures ....staff was amazing and friendly ...
Beautiful, cozy and comfortable. One of the best hotel stays I have had in all my travels. Fantastic amenities, wonderful staff, be sure to check out this hotel during your stay in Santa Barbara.

Amazing Value! Renovated! Great Location! Santa Barbara is pretty expensive so finding a hotel for a reasonable price, that’s decent is hard. This place is in the heart of everything and across from a shopping mall
Needed a break from everyday ruckus. Decided on a whim to go to SB. The stay was exactly what was needed. The receptionist was easy to talk to, and thry made sure to give us information on the town
The balcony faces the courtyard, which has a fire pit and pool that gives a cozy look. You really can’t go wrong with booking here
We enjoyed the accommodations very much. The room was clean and newly remodeled. The bed was really comfortable. I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for a peaceful nights rest.
The recently renovated rooms are comfortable, and the balconies are nice and quieter than expected - though the rooms around the pool might be noisy at times
Hotel was great, the pool was probably the highlight for me as I rarely see 8ft pools that are also very warm to swim at night. Very clean and well maintained the rooms as well

Nevertheless, the hotel facilities and guestrooms feel, look, and even smell new! All of the hotel's common areas, including the lobby, registration desk, pool and convenience area is totally immaculate
Super convenient location if you have kids at UCSB. It's close to the major shopping center and the freeways, but much quieter and cleaner than the hotels on the other side of the airport
Beautiful, immaculate hotel! One of cleanest hotels I have visited!! Excellent facilities and friendly staff. This was my first visit to this hotel, located near Beautiful Santa Barbara and the Santa Barbara Airport
My guestroom included modern, upgraded furnishings and decor, including a mini-fridge, microwave, comfortable bedding, large work desk, and convenient reading lights for reading in bed (a true luxury for me!)
Beautiful lobby and accommodation. Sparkling clean bathroom and the best pillows of any hotel. My television didn't work when I arrived and housekeeping sent a tech to my room within minutes
Also has a nice fitness center and a mini-market to pick up any snacks. Our room was very quiet; there was a big wedding party staying on our floor and we were not disturbed at all!

Pretty architecture with many private gathering places, a quaint lobby (with a continental breakfast in the AM and Wine service in the PM). The pool and spa are a great comfort, too. Everyone on staff were very friendly
The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful in recommendations for local dining and sightseeing. The hotel grounds are beautiful and welcoming, and it is located within walking distance to the Funk Zone
A nice place to stay while in Santa Barbara. The rooms are good size and pleasant. They offer a nice breakfast at no additional charge as well as wine and snacks in the late afternoon/early evening
I am excited for an opportunity to book at Brisas del Mar again. The accommodations were roomy and comfortable with a full kitchen, dining area, sitting area, full size bathroom, and bedroom
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this awesome property. The wifi was strong, the rooms were pretty clean and comfortable, and the staff was super warm and friendly
We made use of complementary bicycles to explore the area, and enjoyed complementary wine in the evening. We also enjoyed the complementary breakfast in the morning

We usually stay in 5-star properties, but when we saw the rates at these properties in Santa Barbara were between $1,000-$2,000 per night, we decided to research other options, and we are glad we did! Our room had a large, comfortable bed, and bedding was high quality; towels were fluffy and soft
Nice ivory color, clean, super comfortable bedding with solid contemporary furniture. They event have live orchid in the room. I travel along the coast staying in the local cute inns and Harbor House Inn is surprise me
Comfortable! Good location; walking distance to the beach, pier, and downtown. Stayed in room with kitchenette and it was well stocked. Nice bikes to borrow (free) for a ride near the beach. Staff was helpful also
The kitchen was stocked with basic spices, utensils, pots, pans, coffee maker (plenty of coffee) and teas. There were a lot of added details in the room that made our stay exceptional and comfortable
So much to love- where do I begin? First, to get the best price, BOOK DIRECTLY with the hotel; it will also enable you to communicate directly with the hotel versus a third party
We loved that the hotel is one block from the beach in a residential area, making it much quieter than staying on the main drag with four lanes of traffic

We are happy with the protein choices (hard boiled eggs, yogurt, milk) and loads of fancy breads, pastry, cereals and waffles at breakfast. Great choice if you are staying in Santa Barbara!
Easy check-in with the the nicest front desk staff! The had a room near the lagoon, it was a nice view to wake up to!
The staff was super nice that worked there. It’s a little older place but it’s super clean, rooms were large, didn’t smell, the grounds and pool area is very nice, the rooms have balconies or patios and that’s a plus
In the mornings there is an exquisite set up of different breakfast items. Bagels, banana nut bread, pancakes to order the list just goes on. Every employee is honestly there just to make your stay nice
I definitely would recommend this place
This Ramada Inn is like a bit of calm in a sea of disquiet. The outside world rages on but when you are there its perfectly calm, serene, and wonderful

Located a few minutes away from Isla Vista, this hotel is a boon for anyone wanting to visit a student attending UC Santa Barbara. Absolutely fantastic outdoor areas to hang out. Well-appointed and comfortable rooms
May I just say… After being treated like a 3rd class citizen by Caesar’s Palace Last week - it is such a breath of fresh air to be somewhere they treat you very well, have very nice rooms, and have plenty reasonable food and drink options on-site and within walking distance!!! Thanks Marriott, always a pleasure!!!
Nice environment especially at night where you can enjoy a romantic time with your love one at fire pit. Spacious room with reasonable price, gymnasium and self service laundry available for guest
:-/ The hotel is located one block away from the edge of a massive and extensive outdoor preserve area that affords a hiking or running or walking option for everyone

Great place for dinner for special occasion. It's really on the pricey side, but the food was outstanding. I had short ribs...so tasty. The appetizer was sooo good, as was dessert. Servers were kind and professional.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary by having lunch here today at the Stonehouse. Everything, down to every detail was perfect. I ordered the grilled blackened salmon salad and my husband had the burger
The grounds are absolutely divine and you will want to give yourself at least 30-45 minutes to look around and take pics. A nice gentleman working there, took a couple of photos of us
I loved my salad so much and was surprised by the generous size of salmon. I also chose the mocktail "The Tropics"
You can't go to the Ranch with an attitude, you can't go in a hurry. Forbes ranks this piece of paradise #1 year after year. please get a drink at the Plow & Angel and go into the garden and be thankful for your life

So, thank you Hampton Inn in Goleta, for making out visit feel welcoming and comfortable. Thank you to the kitchen staff for your hardwork and making sure everyone was fed and happy. Like the elevator says, "Happy Sauce
Generally had a good experience here on the trip to Santa Barbara. The room is clean, quiet though a bit dated. It also has complimentary breakfast. It's about 10 mins drive to downtown area with many good restaurants.
Pros: Clean rooms very nice and helpful staff members. Cons: Breakfast: They provide a variety of options like omelette, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, cream cheese and butter
Very nice faculty in a slightly rougher area than many expect. If you decide to go for a walk. Like typical California, homeless is an issue with a shelter and outreach locations within a block of the location
My husband and I felt the kindness and welcoming here! Sanitation was wonderful, everyone worked hard to make sure everything was spotless and clean! The rooms are wonderful, and they had all the necessary amenities we needed for our stay
Wonderful hotel! Located hidden inside a parking lot. From the street view the hotel appears to look like apartments, but upon entering the parking lot, you can definitely know you're at the Hampton Inn

Small rooms but a great view to the beach. Thin walls so you will hear your neighbours and their bathroom fans. A small but nice gym. Pool and hot jacuzzi. Recommended!
It was not so isolated so you heard the television from the neighbours but I slept well anyhow. The gym is clean, the pool is heated and we also used the bubble bath
This my birthday trip and I'm crushed my two day plans are not going to happen but I'm so incredibly HAPPY and fortunate that the staff helped. I will absolutely be rescheduling to spend my stay at this location
Nice place to stay and the location is perfect. Friendly staff at checking in. There are several restaurant nearby. The room was small but we had a wonderful view
We only stayed one night but I would like to stay one night more
Then we notice that there’s a lot of street noise and a lot of local bird noise (quite literally sounded like a pack of chickens not exaggerating***) I would recommend requesting a room off the street, because we had to pull the luggage cart about a block down the Main Street through a restaurant

Had minor customer service issue that was resolved quickly- a sign of a great place. The location is perfect, walkable to all major shops and restaurants and the beach.
The CA fires have made this quite a unique experience. Pool and Jacuzzi are closed because of the ash and poor air quality. This is the hotel that Charlie Chaplin built in 1928
Great room, superb service and staff. Located just down the street from Oliver's if you're vegan and looking for stellar food that surpasses Crossroads Kitchen. Had a great stay!
Great hotel, rooms very comfortable only don’t count much on breakfast, few items on table, no much seating
You can spend several hundred dollars on a room with a sunken tub that's large and luxuriously appointed. That's not our thing, but might be yours. This would be a good place to splurge, if you're inclined

The Simpson House Inn is such a beautiful venue with incredible staff. My husband and I held our wedding here and it could not have been more perfect. The house and gardens are so thoughtfully designed and well kept
Absolutely beautiful place to stay! The people that work there are great! The rooms are adorable! The breakfast was wonderful! Stayed last June for a few days and loved it! Driving home the other day from up north and called to see by chance if there was a room for one night
There are several wonderful fountains as well as amazing landscape work to enjoy everywhere. All while still being only a few minutes from the beach as well as shopping or dining. It truly is a great little gem
Having family and friends stay at the venue and being able to get ready on site gave us that extra time to spend with our loved ones while making everything easier on us! The staff were all welcoming and kind
The garden, the trees, the lawn – all absolutely pristine. Haley is the best of the best! The cottages on site are all so unique and truly special. Thank you to the Simpson House Inn for hosting our wedding
Recently stayed here for a weekend getaway with my wife. It was everything we wanted and more. The grounds were beautiful, tranquil and relaxing. We reserved a private cottage and absolutely loved it
