Admiral's Inn on Tybee Island
Tybee Island, 1501 Butler Avenue 🧭 Map
Number 1 - no elevator, not an issue for young people. Only 2 floors. No cleaning services, new renovated rooms, nice beds. Great location to walk everywhere. Nice local folks and very informative. Some issues with bathroom facet and TV. No breakfast, phones or alarm clocks in the rooms. Nice pool area.
My recent stay at Admiral's Inn in Tybee Island, Georgia was truly a pleasure. The staff, specifically Cathy and Madison, were incredibly personable, courteous, professional, and extremely helpful throughout my entire visit. They went above and beyond to ensure that I had an enjoyable stay. Both of them were incredibly helpful with any questions I had and were always willing to assist me in any way...
Great location next to beach. 5 minute walk. Many things to do along way. Even walked to light house and back. We're crazy I know, but doable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and nice. Bed was comfortable. Loved how close it was to everything. Lots of room in bathroom for cleaning up after the beach.
The young man who checked us in was one of the friendliest front desk people we met on our trip. He was great! When we arrived Tybee Island had a boil water advisory on and he took really good care of us. My only complaint is the bed was harder then I like. I will definitely stay here again.
This place is in a great location, convenient to the beach and surrounded by great restaurants. We walked everywhere. The lady at the front desk was super helpful and very welcoming. Our room was clean and spacious. The pool was never heavily populated so it was enjoyable as I was vacationing with my 21 month old daughter.
Overall pretty good hotel, lobby still under construction and ice machine is. Not working,. Staff is. Very friendly and rooms are updated nice and clean

Did not stay at the lodge, but the beaches were very nice! Clean, no trash litter! No dogs allowed so keep that in mind due to the sea turtle nesting site found all around the beach.
Plenty of room for family of 4 adults 1 child. Closet to beach access.Had great stay with everything we needed.
Vacation Rental at its best .....Amazing Property with Wonderful Resort Amenities, BREATH TAKING BEACH VIEWS & Helpful Front Desk Staff, Easy Going Island Atmosphere all year.
We had a wonderful view, right on the beach. Each unit has lovely stained glass art on the patio. The condo was comfortable with plenty of space for four adults. Parking was a bit sparse.
We stayed in 115 and this place from the outside looks scary but the inside is a beauty with granite counters and hardwood floors! Not a bad price on the beach! Heated pool! We will be back!

Great place. Our house was 3 story with living and kitchen and deck on top
Do worry, there is an elevator. Wonderful views and the house is well equipped.
The Admiral's View house was a perfect vacation spot. The house was clean, beautiful, the beds were comfortable. The boardwalk over the dunes to the beach was well maintained, and it was fun to watch the turtles in the pond under the walk. The pool was small, but refreshing. The WiFi was not always the fastest, but maintenance was happy to come reset the router, and that helped. Maintenance was quick...

The Marriott Savannah Riverfront!
Is an excellent hotel, fantastic location with beautiful room’s friendly staff, our stay was excellent!
The staff at this hotel went above and beyond for us during our stay. Free room upgrade to riverview room. And everyone was professional and pleasant with each interaction. Rooms were clean, beds very comfortable. Only issue was we had a hard time opening and closing the sliding door. Loved the location...as just about everything was in walking distance.
The hotel was in a very convenient location and within walking distance to the downtown area. It is only getting 3 stars because when I booked the room it said my total would be $242, but when I looked at the charges it said $282 plus another $12 charge. When checking in the concierge told me to rip up my parking ticket and use my room key for the parking. He never once mentioned that it was $40 to...
My balcony room overlooking the river was wonderful. I particularly enjoyed seeing the cargo ships coming and going from the port. Housekeeping employees were very nice and attentive. Big shout out to James, who helped me w/my luggage and getting checked into my room.. he even was kind enough to fill up my ice bucket!
This hotel is at a great location on the river. Very clean. The bar area is nice and the shrimp tacos were delicious! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the rooms feel a little old. The ceiling is peeling in our room and paint is coming off the walls. The toilet flushes really slow to where I thought it was broken. However, the beds are comfy and the room is otherwise clean. I've stayed here...
Marriott Savannah Riverfront Hotel saved the day for me and truly made my weekend getaway memorable when they upgraded my room to one with a balcony and view of the Savannah river and the Talmadge Memorial Bridge. I really liked the service from all the staff. The room was great. The yard is just as beautiful as in the photos. It is pet friendly which was amazing for me and my puppy. This is a clean and comfortable hotel. The location is opposite the river, so even that was great. Mostly I'm surprised by the negative comments here because this was not my experience. I will return if given the opportunity...
This hotel is cute and charming. The outdoor space and pool were fantastic and the lobby was a great place to socialize with others. The room was clean and adequate. The location of shops and attractions in the city center was excellent. Just keep in mind that this hotel is pet friendly. Dog lovers will love this hotel the most - they are great for dogs and the hotel is literally full of them! Forgot your bowl of water? No problem, they have a few essentials they can give you. Excellent room porch overlooking the pool was perfect for afternoon wine and morning coffee. Loved the shower / tub set up. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was gracious.
Best property in Savannah. Central location, and available free bikes to explore. Logan is the best at the front desk, and the entire staff is amazing at all times. Try the premier king suite for extra comfort, and an amazing bathroom!! A+++
Recently got back from my stay at the Kimpton and I will definitely stay here again, hotel room was clean and modern, staff is amazing and always greet us when we were passing through the lobby, they made my dog Jersey feel very welcomed. I had the pleasure of staying at The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa for a friend’s wedding, and it was fantastic! The service was top-notch, and the staff was incredibly friendly and inviting. Our room was beautiful and spacious, offering stunning views of the golf course and the river.

A lovely hotel with staff that embody the concept of hospitality - even in times of uncertainty and stress. During my stay, Cristal and Jenn went out of their way to ensure guest comfort. Reception: Smooth and welcoming. The front desk staff were not only knowledgeable about the hotel but also the area, offering great recommendations. Tristan, who checked us in, was exceptional, and Saunsiree was a delight in the morning—true Southern hospitality!

Our room was very nice and clean and comfortable and everything worked great. The pool is amazing. The bartenders were very friendly and accommodating. Apparently there was a very nice restaurant in the hotel but I had no idea about it until I was leaving so they could do a better job of advertising that aspect. We only stayed on night while passing through, but we genuinely enjoyed it and wished we could have stayed longer. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless and had a full size refrigerator and more than enough room for the two of us. The continental breakfast was better than most are.
The location is perfect, parking was great. The hotel room had everything we needed. The mini kitchen was great and helped in preparing meals, which was not many because we had breakfast and dinner provided our when trip. Dinner is m-w only. Staff was great and very accommodating. Location was great. Cross the street and you are on River street! The hotel itself was nice as well as the staff. Their free breakfast is one of the better ones I've had at a hotel. A couple of points for improvement: there must have been a fraternity/sorority event in the area that had a lot of the college students staying in the hotel...which is not a problem. The problem is when they are allowed...
We were pleasantly impressed by this hotel. We loved the old building and didn't mind the smaller rooms. It has charm and character. There was a reception with food and wine, it might have been on a Friday night or Saturday. The lobby area is attractive and breakfast was very good.
Our stay here was wonderful! It is right across the street from River Street and close to everything you could ask for in downtown Savannah. The only complaint I have is the elevator here is INCREDIBLY slow. You may want to take the stairs.
We've been coming here for the past 5 years. Always had a great experience. Updated rooms look terrific. Afternoon social with free beer and wine is an easy way to relax after seeing the town. Close to River St and short walks to historic attractions make this hotel a no brainer for your next stay in Savannah.

Most importantly the people that work there are polite and helpful. Scarlett was super friendly and gave us the best advice for restaurants and beaches in the area while Kara, Gracen and Brandon showed us the best Southern Hospitality.
The location and overall ambiance reflect the historic district of Savannah. However, Scarlet, Grace, and Dan extended a gracious, cordial, and friendly yet professional welcome which was present throughout our stay. We WILL BE BACK.

We stayed Memorial Day weekend. Drove back this morning. On top of the hotel being right across the street for River Street, the room was absolutely beautiful!! The perfect starting place to walk around the city and the staff was so kind and inviting! Will definitely stay there again.
Such a great place to stay. It's in the heart of everything. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel good. Very rustic decor. Very unique. The rooms are very clean. I would highly recommend it.
This was such a beautiful building. Jennifer, Hank, and the rest of the staff was more than accommodating and so hospitable. The establishment was pet friendly and they even give a pet care package. The wine/cheese reception was wonderful and breakfast was delicious. True southern hospitality. My husband and I know where we will be staying when we come to Savannah again!
Great experience at the East Bay. Would be superb if other guest would learn how to close doors rather than slam. Beautiful room with exposed brick wall. Bed is comfortable but not to die for. Staff was friendly and helpful. Conventiently located to walk anywhere in historic district...even for my 90 year old Dad!
I loved this hotel! It is adorable, the staff is incredibly friendly, and it's in a great location!! But, be aware that this inn is an old building so the floor boards creek. There was a little bit of noise when we were trying to sleep. I fall asleep easily and am a deep sleeper so the noise didn't bother me, but a light sleeper could have trouble. Great location in Historic District but showing it's age--a little frayed around the edges. Courteous, efficient staff. Hotel is acceptably clean. Room rates are staggeringly high, out of line with the overall condition of the property; probably driven by location.
Prime location right by the Savannah River and near lots of places to eat and shop. Service was great, rooms were clean and modern. Love the downstairs decor and fireplace. We'll definitely be back!
Love this hotel. If I make it back to Savannah, I will stay here again. Loved the staff. The rooms were clean and updated. It's in walking distance of everything. If you come to Savannah, stay here!
Great location near the boardwalk. Prices were decent but typical of Hilton.
Breakfast at these places are never any good and I always recommend getting quality food somewhere else unless you're in a pinch.
Try to get a north facing room since you can overlook the Savannah river and see ships pass. Facing south like me yields a less than desirable view of garbage and alleys.

We enjoyed our stay. Hotel was clean, very friendly staff, great location. Breakfast was good with nice variety of items. Coffee was very good. 4 stars for an economy hotel. Would definitely recommend.
Wonderful architecture and clean. Modern decor and Central location to anything and everything in Savannah. Great personnel that treat you with kindness and help with any needs. Only downfall was the parking deck charges $10/day or $22/day valet. If you leave the garage and come back in the same day you get charged for each entry. That's an outcry for a hotel guest!

Very beautiful hotel in downtown Savannah Georgia once you get inside. Parking is not good and you have to arrange to meet the valet outside. The most friendly staff I have ever experienced. So helpful showing us things to do. Valet was fast and super nice. Great location to river front and many historical houses. We had a room near Bay St and it was pretty quiet all night. Beds were comfortable. Only small negative was that some might find the rooms to be a little small. Would stay here again for sure.
The hotel is in a great location in regards to activities & access. The service is excellent, accommodating & everyone has a customer first attitude. Great hotel with a wonderful staff. We went for our 17th anniversary and we're upgraded to a suite l. We were also given a drink voucher for the Proof and Provision hotel bar. The bartender was fantastic and made some great drinks!

Great location, walking to anywhere. You do not need the $45 per day valet because large parking garage is block away from building. Nice food and drink inside, plus walking distance from restaurants and bars. Nice safe feeling area. Super small balcony.
You have a wonderful property here, but there are a few areas that could significantly enhance the overall experience. The hotel could benefit from renovations, as the wear and tear are noticeable. For example, our bathroom had a large crack in the tub, and the faucet was loose, giving the space a run-down feel. A fresh coat of paint and general upkeep would go a long way. Additionally, the cleanliness...
Good morning g to the manager. We have never stayed as of sleeping at the hotel. Each time we visited, it was for business or training. We have enjoyed the atmosphere and food on those times. Service at front desk was a bit unorganized and slow as my mom waited for a pretty extended period of time to check in just for a lady to come out of the back. With the price you pay you would also expect a bit more enthusiasm from those front desk employees.
Bell hops and valet were kind and quick however!
Wouldn’t stay here again as there are...
My husband planned this 3 day trip for my birthday. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The location was great! We we're able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The ONLY downfall was our room which was a balcony room. The room was not the cleanest and the water from the bathroom smelled like sulfur/sewer. The shower needed to be re-grouted and the wallpaper was peeling off the wall. I understand...
This location is incredible for visiting Savannah. The hotel itself is a very typical Regency - business class and clearly easily enjoyed by large groups and conferences as all of those facilities are available.
The rooms are fine- clean and comfortable. Get a river view if available. Well worth having (and I don't often care about views.)
Walk to most anything you could need!
Off site parking...
My fiance had the best experience working with Leah to block off a portion of the covered porch for our post-proposal family gathering only 1 day in advance. Leah went above and beyond putting up personalized "congratulations" signs and tending to all of our champagne requests promptly. Couldn't have asked for a better night!

We had a wonderful experience at the Bohemian Hotel! The staff went above and beyond, even securing us a reservation at a hard-to-book restaurant. Complimentary bottled water was available at the front, and every team member was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. We also visited the Grand Bohemian in Charleston—its rooftop offers incredible sunset views, and the staff...
We arrived on Monday night 11 pm and we had the most amazing greeting! The young lady who helped us was a total gem! Great customer service and made our hotel experience so special for me husbands birthday ! She was very helpful and definitely knows and loves her job you can tell she is a great employee and represents the hotel so well ! Hospitality is definitely a gift ! The room was beautiful… we...
Absolutely loved the entire experience! My Hubby booked this hotel for my birthday weekend, such a win! The hotel staff rolled out the red carpet and it seemed like everyone in the hotel knew it was my birthday. The food at Coastal 15 was spectacular, we dined there for breakfast both days we stayed. Valet parking was too easy and we didn't need our car much thanks to this amazing hotel location. Not...
I love this hotel and have stayed here multiple times. It’s right on the river front, making it easy to walk around to all the restaurants and shops. I love the restaurant on the first floor and I hear the rooftop is great too… I really need to get myself up there!
The staff is always friendly when I stay here. The rooms have a very moody decor, kind of like it’s from an old castle. I love it. And...
we were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and Miss Beatrice and Jessica went way over and beyond to make it extremely special for him
The bar and restaurant are absolutely gorgeous. When we arrived, every restaurant in town was booked. We popped into the bar and had the most delicious food with great service. Our bartender Demi was just the perfect combination of helpful, informative and a total pro. We make many trips to this coast several times a year. We will definitely be back. ❤️

The area is nice, the staff were very friendly. The rooms are in perfect condition, however i have not gotten room service.
The rooms are so spacious. Beds are comfy and towels are fresh and fluffy. Staff is friendly and I like the room entrance being on the inside of the hotel. This is our second time here. Very close to everything we need to get to. The only thing to recommend is some updating to the bathrooms. Very small and ours needed the shower wall replaced. It bowed out and there was a very large patch job.
So far so good. Still have a few more days reserved.
Well now that was a much better experience, out of all the PATEL owned properties I've been to. The garden inside the lobby was beautiful. Do not remove it but do upgrade it. The room was comfy and was able to get a good nights sleep. The staff was attentive and pleasant.
Thank you to the staff of the Comfort Inn, for a wonderful experience the weekend of 9/22-9-24, 2017. My daughter, 6 month old granddaughter, and I were welcomed warmly. The front desk person helped us transfer our reservation from another local motel.
Good value. Nice location. 6 miles from historical district I need of a bummer but it's in a nice area. Looks like it was renovated recently and it was done well.
So I stayed in room 309, and I'm a little conflicted because I do love the architecture. The first thing I noticed is the shower walls weren't clean. The towel had a clump of black hair and lint inside. The toilet had to be flushed 5 times in the hopes that all the poo would flush. And even after it was clean, you'd come back and it had poop in there magically. The included breakfast was below average...
