My balcony room overlooking the river was wonderful. I particularly enjoyed seeing the cargo ships coming and going from the port. Housekeeping employees were very nice and attentive. Big shout out to James, who helped me w/my luggage and getting checked into my room.. he even was kind enough to fill up my ice bucket!

The staff at this hotel went above and beyond for us during our stay. Free room upgrade to riverview room. And everyone was professional and pleasant with each interaction. Rooms were clean, beds very comfortable. Only issue was we had a hard time opening and closing the sliding door. Loved the location...as just about everything was in walking distance.

The hotel was in a very convenient location and within walking distance to the downtown area. It is only getting 3 stars because when I booked the room it said my total would be $242, but when I looked at the charges it said $282 plus another $12 charge. When checking in the concierge told me to rip up my parking ticket and use my room key for the parking. He never once mentioned that it was $40 to park, which is a ridiculous price!!! The $12 fee was for internet, which was NEVER made known. The hotel room air vents had dust on them and needed cleaned especially the one above the shower. The hotel/rooms were very dated. Overall, the hotel was good, but watch out for their sneaky charges.

Hotel is beautiful from the outside, great river views, beautiful lobby area. A little away from everything and a bit of a walk before you hit the shops on River walk. Also, a lot of construction going on near hotel which isn’t necessarily their fault. My problem’s came with my experience with the rooms. The are hot, no air movement, thermostat’s won’t go below 73 degrees. I requested to change room’s. The next room I received was no different, just as hot, no air movement. It was cooler in the hallways. When I pay over $400 a night for a room, I expect to be comfortable and relaxed when I enter my room, not sweating while I lay in bed. I would not recommend this hotel for that reason alone and would never pay that amount and stay here ever again. I would stay closer to downtown or historic district in the future. I’m requesting a fan be brought to room to see if I can get through the night.

This hotel is at a great location on the river. Very clean. The bar area is nice and the shrimp tacos were delicious! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the rooms feel a little old. The ceiling is peeling in our room and paint is coming off the walls. The toilet flushes really slow to where I thought it was broken. However, the beds are comfy and the room is otherwise clean. I've stayed here before and would stay again. Tip: if booking more than 1 room, ask for connecting balconies. We didn't realize this was an option and shared a balcony with people we didn't know as opposed to our family.

Marriott Savannah Riverfront Hotel saved the day for me and truly made my weekend getaway memorable when they upgraded my room to one with a balcony and view of the Savannah river and the Talmadge Memorial Bridge. The staff was also exceedingly helpful, kind and friendly, some going the extra mile to assist us. The atmosphere was one of total calm and relaxation. I definitely recommend staying at the Marriott Savannah Riverfront Hotel. Could it have been the bath and beauty products by 'thisworks' (made with essential oils) that the Hotel provided? Who knows. I just know I will definitely come back to Savannah. We all just need to remember to be kind and friendly. We all need that from each other.

Wonderful hotel! Great location and close to everything. Polite staff? me and my boyfriend recently stayed the past weekend for mothers day- only problem was we didn't know they had internal AND external balconies and when we asked for a balcony they did not specify which- also if you're like us and travel with children or a small child and you like to keep snacks and drinks with you- there is no fridge or microwave in the room(not sure if this is all rooms, but its how ours was) also nothing is complimentary except coffee- $21 a day for parking(a little pricey but worth it) no pets allowed.

My husband and I celebrated our 27th Anniversary!!!! This hotel is Awesome!!! I LOVE the staff starting with Mr. Glenn that is 100 like me. To Ms Angie that is awesome that run this place to the "T"". Thank You. To Ms Q that shows a lot of Love for this hotel. Thank You'll so.... much for making our Anniversary Awesome!!!
