The Drayton Hotel

I really have to hand it to this hotel for a few reasons. Upon arrival, valet parking was a breeze. Walking into the lobby, you are immediately struck by the modern yet stylish and timeless design that surrounds you. I was greeted by March, who seemed genuinely happy to see my husband and I - almost as if we were long-awaited guests in his home. He asked for the name on the reservation but was unable to find it. Turns out I had booked a room for two weeks later. I was shocked at my mishap and immediately began thinking of different scenarios. I told him about my mistake and he assured me it was no problem. After a quick chat with his manager, he returned to tell me that not only did he have a room for me, but that I had been given a free upgrade and a discount. I was confused. The customer service here is something to write home about. March and the valet Nick spoke to us genuinely and offered suggestions on how to make the most of our day in Savannah. The room itself was immaculate. I was blown away by the view as well as the five huge windows that let in so much light and added life to the room. The decor is gorgeous. The cleanliness was out of this world. The location is as good as it gets. The service at the rooftop bar is equally amazing. We had cocktails and an appetizer upon arrival and it felt very luxurious. We were given suggestions here too. If you are looking for a hotel in Savannah, do not hesitate. The price is unbeatable and I will never forget this concierge level service. We could easily have been turned away or charged.

My best friend surprised me with a trip to Savannah at the luxurious Drayton Hotel....where do I begin? The valet guys greeted us immediately with warm smiles. After checking in, we asked Victoria about some of the attractions and activities and let me just say she did NOT miss an opportunity to provide instructions on how to make the most of our visit. We ate at the best restaurants, took the best ghost tours and danced the night away. The next morning, after our first super fun night, she checked in with us to make sure we needed nothing and had no questions. She offered us coupons and gave us some information about Savannah's old town. We truly believe that if it weren't for Victoria, our trip would have been a failure. She was an amazing host and showed us the true meaning of southern hospitality. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Victoria!

We had such a wonderful experience at the Drayton. Everyone was so welcoming and it meant a lot when everyone asked, “How are you?” “Is there anything we can get you or do for you?” That kind of hospitality speaks volumes. The whole hotel is so clean and the decor is impeccable. Love the charm. The location is also great. We were within walking distance of everything that Savannah has to offer. I highly recommend coming here!

We stayed for our 5 year anniversary and it did not disappoint! Our check in was some of the best service we’ve ever received, and we’ve stayed at many nice hotels. Friendly, great recommendations, always welcomed us back when we went out and returned. The hotel is in the perfect location and gorgeous! The rooms are slightly small but great sized bathrooms. You aren’t there for the rooms you are there to see Savannah! Adorable rooftop bar with great drinks and snack menu, loved the vibe there. The hotel was never crazy packed and we always felt like we were “home” even if for a few days. The staff was so accommodating and kind, it was so refreshing. The breakfast was 10/10, get the avocado toast with their house made hot sauce! It will knock your socks off! One of the best stays we’ve had, thank you so much!

The Drayton is our favorite hotel we’ve stayed in! We live in Florida and drive up to Maryland with our dog to see family a few times a year and stop in Savannah to break up the trip. The hotel staff is so friendly and welcoming and they love our dog Otto! They are very accommodating for early check-ins and late check-outs. The hotel is super clean and the decorations are so cute. And to top it off they give complimentary coffee and a breakfast that is out of this world. We honestly get sad when we have to leave. Just a great hotel overall!

Very beautiful hotel in downtown Savannah Georgia once you get inside. Parking is not good and you have to arrange to meet the valet outside. If you know the area and don’t have a lot of luggage, better to park across the street in public parking garage. That’s what the valet did. Once inside it was beautifully decorated. Although downtown, it was quiet. Room was small but we only stayed one evening. Very clean. Upstairs bar small but modern. Hard to see over the wall and you’re looking at other building’s rooftops. On a clear night you probably get great view of moon. Breakfast was included with room and their version of the avocado toast with thinly sliced radishes was delicious. Despite the above i would recommend this place

The most friendly staff I have ever experienced. So helpful showing us things to do. Valet was fast and super nice. Great location to river front and many historical houses. We had a room near Bay St and it was pretty quiet all night. Beds were comfortable. Only small negative was that some might find the rooms to be a little small. Would stay here again for sure.
