The only downside is that the resort is located across from downtown Savannah. While there is a free ferry to get downtown, which is a nice perk, it can be inconvenient at times. We found that taking an Uber to downtown took about 30 minutes. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway away from the downtown hustle, this is the perfect spot. However, if you plan to spend a lot of time downtown during the ferry’s off hours, you might want to consider other options.
Reception: Smooth and welcoming. The front desk staff were not only knowledgeable about the hotel but also the area, offering great recommendations. Tristan, who checked us in, was exceptional, and Saunsiree was a delight in the morning—true Southern hospitality!
Room: A bit dated, but impeccably clean. Tip: Ask for a river-side room for stunning views.
Location: Conveniently across from the historic district with a free ferry service that runs every 20 minutes, with the last one at 10 PM.
Free Tesla charging was a great bonus.
Overall, an outstanding stay with management and staff delivering top-notch service. Highly recommend!
