4 star hotels in Virginia Beach

The hotel definitely shows some age, but the rooms are spacious and the waterfront is great. I had two bad experiences. First, my room had issues with the hot water in the shower. After calling maintenance, the best they could do to fix it was to remove the stop screw and instruct me how to pull out the knob halfway and turn it slightly to get hot water. Crazy. This was our best visit to the hotel yet. The staff was courteous & friendly. The room was oceanview and the weather was mid 80's. We enjoyed the view from the balcony and sipped cold drinks til the sun went down. Dockside Restaurant is just a 5 minute drive away and the seafood cant be beat. My husband liked their workout room & sauna in the early morning, while I slept in. Great stay.

Spent the weekend here at a conference with 4 other girls and we were initially placed in a room with one king bed. After talking to the front concierge, we were moved to a room with 4 beds and a pull-out couch - which was amazing! Indoor pool, jacuzzi and gym facilities we're well maintained, rooms were large with separate living room and bedroom, and nice bathrooms. Hotel staff was great but the room had many issues. Such non working lights and outlets. There was used soap in the shower. Other than that the view was great, with a private balcony which was very enjoyable. They need to add some more elevators. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Very spacious, it was almost like a 2 bedroom apartment, fully furnished and the ocean view was fantastic. We were well taken care of by staff and the hotels accommodations were top notch. Clean hotel but only 4 stars, couch is worn all u feel is the wood frame across the front of it. And Queen size beds feel like I oversize full size. GOOD atmosphere but next door ocean club is better and cheaper priced. Would think with higher rates would be better hotel.

I absolutely loved my stay while I was here. I had an oceanfront room and enjoyed the view. The room was clean upon my arrival, anything I requested from the front desk was brought to me with no problem, I was able to access other needs on my own. Loved the hotel and would definitely stay again.

Me and my wife enjoyed our stay with Oceanaire Resort Hotel. The mangement team was the best ever. They found out it was our Anniversary and my wife's birthday and treated us like family. Can not wait to book another stay again. The location is perfect and our room was the best. Love Virginia Oceanaire Resort Hotel it's a hidden Gem and the view was outstanding!!!

The front desk person named Diamond was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and service excellent. My children enjoyed the splash lagoon, loved Tink the turtle. Maria was very friendly and kind!

Stayed here for along weekend... Our overall experience was ok-ok... This holiday inn is located at the end (north) of boardwalk thus slightly away from peak action... Rooms are good sized but are dated check the attached pictures.. oceanfront views are awesome. Service was descent. The breakfast in house restaurants was average however service was good.

My family and spent Easter weekend at this hotel. The guy who check us in was kind of rude and not very friendly. Our room was nice and clean with a great view of the beach. The indoor pool was not monitored by the hotel staff at all. Towels everywhere, with limited seating. The pool itself was awesome!

Great hotel. The room was good and more spacious than I expected. Very convenient to the beach. The pool on the roof was good too. Great view of the ocean. All the elevators were working and we were there in the middle of the week when it wasn't too crowded, so we usually didn't have to wait long.

We had a great time at this hotel! The most friendly employee was Darron. He was a highlight for us, always with a smile on his face and a fun suit :) The location is spectacular and the parking was easy! The rooftop bar was AWESOME as well. Only con, as everyone else has said, is that there are only 3 elevators for a hotel with 20 floors. But that was only a minor inconvenience- we could always take...

Great hotel by the sea. We got very spacious rooms on the upper floors. Beautiful view from the room with a spacious balcony. The seafood restaurant offers a great selection of amazing flavors. The swimming pool is on the top floor with excellent relaxation facilities. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it for a family weekend getaway.

Well for $400 a night I expected more. Pool is the size of a garden tub, and supposed to be “infinity.” Never really understood that, really didn’t see the infinity part. Our room was on the 15th floor, super nice view, but the sky bar. The idea was nice while we swam, and the concept of a rooftop club also seemed very cool until I wanted to go to bed at 10:30pm and there was a dance party in my ear...
