Great hotel. The room was good and more spacious than I expected. Very convenient to the beach. The pool on the roof was good too. Great view of the ocean. All the elevators were working and we were there in the middle of the week when it wasn't too crowded, so we usually didn't have to wait long.

Great hotel by the sea. We got very spacious rooms on the upper floors. Beautiful view from the room with a spacious balcony. The seafood restaurant offers a great selection of amazing flavors. The swimming pool is on the top floor with excellent relaxation facilities. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it for a family weekend getaway.

Well for $400 a night I expected more. Pool is the size of a garden tub, and supposed to be “infinity.” Never really understood that, really didn’t see the infinity part. Our room was on the 15th floor, super nice view, but the sky bar. The staff is really nice and helpful. The resort is very nice and this is an old building so watch out for some loose doors. The bathroom door fell down on my wife and we ended up calling 911. Mishaps happen but the response from the staff was really good. The swimming pools are really nice a huge. It’s right next to the beach so you can have a really quick walk back and forth.

Very pleasant service. Kids enjoyed the pools and it's got convenient parking in deck right across the street. Great spot right on the beach. Our room had a kitchen which was convenient. Laundry is available but only one washer dryer pair per every 2nd floor. Overall excellent experience.

These guys went above and beyond on my visit. My father in law passed away unexpectedly and they still let us check in late into the night. The parking deck is right near the hotel so you are able to walk the beach and shops with no problem. Having pools indoor and outdoor help if it decides to rain. Our room was clean and is just like an apartment with kitchen.

Enjoyed our stay during spring break. The staff was very helpful and Courteous. We enjoyed the view of the beach during sunrise and sunset. The pool's are all great indoor and outdoor. The kids had something to do every day from the play room schedule. This was my second time here and will come again.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and the AC worked great. It was about a fifteen minute walk from the beach which wasn't too bad. There is construction going on so it isn't a straight shot, but the neighborhood you pass through seemed nice enough. It was honestly nicer than I expected.

Our family reunion was at the Westin a couple of weeks ago . Everything turned out excellent.The staff was amazing and the hotel was gorgeous. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Location is excellent. The beach is accessible from the ground floor via a patio. The hotel itself was kind of dirty. Hair in The bathroom, unvaccumed halls, and stained wallpaper. The food left much to be desired, but the staff was prompt in response to requests for extra towels and toothbrush.

Enjoyed our stay. Only thing was the dirty pool, was closed for a whole day and was dirty again the next. People would go in from the beach, without washing up first. Stayed here for along weekend... Our overall experience was ok-ok... This holiday inn is located at the end (north) of boardwalk thus slightly away from peak action... Visited the hotel for the weekend and it was great. The view from the room was incredible. A Jacuzzi tub is one of my standard room request and the tub in the room was great; large with strong jets. Lastly, this hotel has the best work out gym I've ever seen. I was able to get a full body workout. Great hotel and probably my Virginia Beach go-to.

This is a pretty nice place. It looks like it has a little age on it, but is still nice and not dumpy. The room we were in was very large. The bed was VERY comfortable. I was a little concerned that it might be loud, as it's fairly close to the interstate, but, surprisingly, it was very quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent view! However, a constant whistling at the door was rather annoying overnight due to the high winds and some sort of draft in the window. Can really be heard when you open the porch door. We fixed it by lining a towel along the bottom of the door at night. Other than that, wifi was great, beds were great, bathroom was clean, but wall plugs for electronics were sparse.

Stayed here for the Christmas parade. Loved the location and had a great time. The problem with oceanfront hotels is the rooms smell damp and musty pretty quickly. This hotel and staff has got to be the BEST in Virginia Beach! We weren't sure what to expect upon arrival but EVERY single member of staff went above and beyond in making us feel welcome. This is my third stay at Best Western Plus Sandcastle. I enjoyed my room and the ocean front view every morning. The all of staff were courteous and polite, from housekeeping to dining, and front lobby Concierge. The lobby was very colorful and inviting. I look forward to my next visit to Best Western in Virginia Beach.

I paid 300 a night for a room and hotel is not worth it. Regardless being on boardwalk and having 2 restaurants. Granted hotel front desk and cleaning crews were very nice. Not so much at the oceans 14 restaurant. Beds were not that comfy, can here noise in hallways, and if your room is near the restaurant at night while the are playing live music. Have a nice time trying to sleep! Food for breakfast...

The place is a little dated, but nice. Staff is very nice too. Small indoor pool...no hot tub, but a small hit tub sized kiddie pool. All balconies are ocean view. Complimentary breakfast is good too...it also has an mto omelet station.

Good price for location. If you spend most of your time on the beach or shopping, no need to get an expensive hotel. They do not have free breakfast as advertised. Just the restaurant in the hotel. This hotel is beautiful. We stayed on the 7th floor and when we opened the door to the room, the view was breath taking.
