Great experience at the Quest Story Bridge! Michael was helpful, welcoming & has a really cool vibe. The hotel was reasonably priced and it was clean, comfortable & a really relaxing place to stay. We thought it might be a little loud being so close to the bridge but the widows are well glazed and there's an option of sleeping upstairs or downstairs in the apartment we were in so we just swapped to...
Michael, Tabitha and the Quest staff went out of their way to ensure our stay in Brisbane was memorable and enjoyable. Their advice and help regarding where to eat and what to see was most appreciated. Great location, great room and fantastic service. Thanks Quest Story Bridge, we will definitely stay with you guys again!
Lovely apartment with a loft bedroom and ensuite. Michael has been very helpful in changing dates to get me here over the covid years. I finally made it and it is worth the wait. A great spot near the Storey Bridge and near the city. Clean and comfortable with a decent kitchen and everything you need. The place has a pool and barbecue as well.
It was great staying here. We booked the 2 bedroom apartment whilst our friends had the 3 bedroom. The rooms were spacious however i found the deck area could only fit around 6 people comfortably. We were celebrating a special occasion and had no complaints of noise issues whatsoever as we celebrated until midnight. Thanks for that! Staff are friendly including the receptionist. There's a small gym...
A good location & reasonable accommodation for our family. Sheets were crisp, room was clean, beds were comfortable. Pool was okay, plenty of conveniences nearby. When we got into our room we realised we were missing a bed (turned out it was the travel agent's fault) and the staff were helpful and able to make up one (fortunately this room had a sofa bed). Only complaint is that the stairs to the...
Nice clean tidy rooms. Helpful staff. Close to city and river front.

Comfortable stay Room was very clean…the shower was fantastic.had everything we needed for a couple of nightd
Easy parking, clean basic accomodation, good welcome pack, some noise from adjacent play area after school hours, good value for money. Bar and restaurant facilities looked good but I was too tired to use them after a long flight.
Family friendly, convenient with restaurant and multi dining options, good size rooms.
Clean and tidy. There is a restaurant and bottle shop onsite. A little far from the city if you don't have a car. Half hour taxi ride to the airport.
It's quite convenient to eat. It's a bit far from the city, so it's more convenient to borrow a car.
Good clean and close to NW hospital.

I didn’t buy the breakfast as I thought it a bit expensive.
Overall, a good value for money option during a busy Easter period. The hotel was clean, safe, and quiet. The location may not be ideal but the proximity to a huge mall makes it somewhat better. Unfortunately, many of the shops/services were operating to shorter hours because of the long weekend. The hotel had an opportunity to go out of its way to return my computer cable that I had left behind...
Clean rooms, however requires pest control ASAP. Reception staff Kate is very friendly and very professional. Thank you Kate for making me Feel welcome. Close proximity to shops & freeway & hospitals.
Found it strange that they have no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Took 2 days for housekeeping to not turn the aircon down to 16 degrees that was way too cold, felt like snow weather indoors. The place was otherwise clean, very close to major shopping centres and staff were pleasant.
When we first came in, the customer service was really polite. And they also provided us with juice and kid books. The room is small but stunning. The fridge had free milk and the bathroom had free shampoo, body lotion etc. Although it had free shampoo and stuff there wasn't any conditioner but if i asked they would probably give me a bottle if they have some.
Good value for money. Plus: Nice location for what we needed, clean and comfortable, new towels every day, free parking, the kitchenette with microwave, ironing facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful. Minus: NO free WIFI, the buffet breakfast selection could have been better.

Rothbury Hotel, Brisbane1 / 35High rating

Brisbane, 301 Ann Street 🧭 Map
This is a magnificent old building, centrally located, with a range of rooms. Unfortunately, the kitchen in my unit was thinly equipped, not even a single sachet of salt or pepper, and the cooking implements were greasy and needed to be washed before I could use them. The top two plates in the cupboard were also greasy.
Good location, good sized apartments, plus many historical aspects of the original building have been retained.
Comfortable hotel which has everything you need, including washing machine, microwave etc. My only complaint is that a drill outside was going until 1.00am. Not sure if staff at Rothbury were aware of this. Staff pleasant and helpful. Would stay again as location and amenities outstanding.
Highly recommended Excellent position close to everything. All we needed was there.
Pros: Great location and well appointed room. Cons: The washing machine drain was completely blocked and I did the Rothbury the favour of cleaning it all out. It felt like years of filth came out of the drain plug. I spent the entire night cleaning the bathroom floor. The area under the couch was not vacuumed.
This is a lovely old art deco building in a central location. Beds are comfortable and they offer a good number of channels on Foxtel. However, the upkeep of the apartments is poor and there is no daily servicing done. I had to liaise to get lights and taps fixed and to get rubbish removed.

Location to airport and food outlets Only complaint - noise through the wall and guests arriving and departing noisily at 11pm and 5am eg door banging
All in all it’s a ok place to stay, just not much around apart from the sports club across the road and about 350 m a nice coffee.
Convenient location Very convenient location especially for races at either eagle Farm or Doomben
An excellent property close to the airport. Was very clean, spacious & bed was comfy. Close to the bowls club where we got a good meal.

Location is awesome. Bistro food great. Pool very nice.
Great location right on the beach. The three bedroom apartments are awesome, open and have amazing views.
Stayed here for a weekend recently with 3 couples. Nice place to stay. Well appointed and in a good position close to cafés, restaurants, shops and pubs.
I find it hard as a male to relax in a Day Spa environment, but Scarlet made my visit totally welcoming and comfortable. I will definitely be visiting Scarlet next time I am on Straddie.
It rained all day but we still had a great time, definitely will go back
One of the best place to spend your weekend. It has beautiful beaches if you lucky you can watch dolphin and whales. You can surf and boat here. Try sand boarding, kayaking, snorkeling and scuba here. You can stay at Montana scuba club with very cheap price.

It's a bit run down, expect cobwebs, cracks in walls, and worst of all for me, a shower where the head was long past the date it should have been replaced, the water dribbled out rather than sprayed. Our room, for 3 people, had a usable floor area of about 2.5m x 3m, plus entry and bathroom. Even our kid complained about it being too small. We constantly bumped against each other, our luggage, and...
Picked it cause of the low price before heading off on a cruise the next day. Very much like a hostel, small reception, we were given our 'free drink' as part of being an Accor member, which is usually alcoholic, a bit surprised when we were given a small bottle of water. The room was sufficient and had what we needed to have a good sleep. The location was good close to the airport, we had food delivered...
I have traveled all over Australia and stay in literally hundreds of different hotels every year. But the Ibis at the airport is a stand out from the first second I came in everybody was super friendly, super efficient and able to help me with all of my requests the food in the crab Island restaurant is superb. I had a pork chop and vegetables for dinner last night and it was amazing, the breakfast...
Decent place for a cheap nights sleep. Not far from the airport. We arrived just after the reception desk closed for the night and the check in machine was broken so we had to use the emergency bell to get someone to come give us a key. The young gentleman came down quickly and was friendly. Bed was comfy but sheets were a bit dirty looking. TV and air con worked though the room was very stuffy. Lots...
Very friendly and helpful front reception desk staff, the room was small but clean and perfect for a short stay coming straight from the airport. I also needed to cancel a room booked due to flight changes and again, this was handled competently by the staff here.
Service was fantastic and all staff were so great to speak with - very helpful and accommodating. The hotel would be ideal for a quick overnight place to stay during transit from the airport but it was very basic. Clean, tidy rooms.

We were a little apprehensive staying here after booking through *********** then reading the reviews on here after. However, we were very pleasantly surprised! The only negative was a slight smell of damp but this seemed...
We stayed overnight and from someone who is fairly fussy I found the accommodation very good. We had two generous bedrooms and two bathrooms. Ensuite bathroom was a little bit impractical being quite small and toilet behind the door. Main bathroom was a decent size. The bed was very comfortable, kitchen clean and practical. My negative comment was the outdoor table which was sticky and we needed...
Clean and spacious rooms, newly renovated bathrooms, gorgeous pool, on-site management are a dream to deal with and all for a rediculously low price. I love staying here if it's an overnight trip to the city or a week.
Have stayed many times. Great place in the centre of Brisbane overlooking the church square. Very good soundproofing and great light blocking/privacy curtains. Good for staying with kids, colleagues, or a romantic stay. Cafes right there where you can get a coffee or meet up for breakfast.

Very spacious and comfortable room. It is great walking distance from the city and also there is a convenient free city bus loop just outside. Staff are very accommodating and kind. I have been to Brisbane many times and this hotel has left an amazing impression on me and my children. I would highly recommend staying here at the Johnson.
hotel was okay, staff were lovely. Rooms had an odd smell + no ambience. Rooms were spacious but not required, didn’t feel very warm. Location is good, walkable to the city.
Stayed here many times and it’s a wonderful hotel with one of the best hotel gyms and pools in Brisbane. Smart TVs are however much needed so one can stream content in the rooms.
What a great hotel!! We had a huge room with a nice large bathroom, balcony and floor to ceiling windows The 50m pool and outdoor area was lovely. What a fantastic hotel. We had a huge room which had floor to ceiling windows and they were able to be opened for fresh air rather than just A/C. Apartment was very nice but the WiFi didn't work
Central location, very noisy, is right on the train line and you could hear the loud scraping of the train tracks all night. No place to check in, had to go to a nearby hotel to check in, no place to park to check in. Took us nearly 30 minutes to get the gate to open so we could get out to go home
The front office looks a little abandoned and detracts from the"kerb appeal". The car park is inner city tight but once you get past that the apartments are well appointed. A lovely glass en suite is a great touch. Can't do anything about the inner city noise from the rail line but you don't notice it after the first hour. Would definitely stay again. Location is great. Easy to walk to shops and nearby restaurant. My room only had 1 side table and lamp so the lighting was a bit dark when trying to work. Also, there was no hot water on my final morning. Concierge staff were really helpful with directions to local places.
As I got in to the room, there was a many issues with maintenance. When I was booking it was showing an error for upgrading the room. I asked the reception if I can upgrade it, reception told me there is no room available. But when I jump on the website there was plenty of room available. So it wasn't good for me although I have stayed at 13th floor. It was a good experience to stay on the heights...
Great location, easy walking distance from the mall, the river and the sights of the city. Many restaurants with varied cuisines and shops in the area nearby. The hotel itself also has good restaurant options and 24 hour room service. The beds were comfortable and there were sufficient amenities available. Decent sized gym for a good workout, Overall a good experience
Thought this was a 5 star hotel but unfortunately not no communication from staff behind the desk for our enquiries no water in the rooms so after purchasing several bottles we were told they were at the desk. The guys at the concierge desk were fabulous and looked after us very well. Our used towels were left in the bath but fresh ones were left. Our friends room had a cracked sink and their door...
As per usual the rooms and service were good. For a 4-5 star hotel, I would like to see an improvement in the breakfast offered with the room. Was very average and would recommend not taling the included breakfast unless you only prefer cereals and yoghurts. Other than that very pleasant, nicely situated to the city, and facilities are good especially roof top bar, very nice.
best thing was the location! being 5star, glad I didn't pay for this stay. breakfast was very simple & standard, again glad I didn't have to pay (work paid trip). Bed was superior & super comfy, extra blanket in cupboard would have been handy.

On 2008, it’s my first time to visit Brisbane. Annie’s inn was the first place I stayed. The manager was a very nice man. This place make us feel safe and cozy.
It's the quirkiest B&B I've ever stayed in, like a time travel back to the 70s. Scrupulously clean, with superb owners and very handy for the train station, I recommend staying here if you're ever in Brisbane. I loved it.
I just loved this quaint and comfortable accomodation. Its a great place- crisp white sheets , Clean and comfortable. Right in centre of Brisbane. Hospitality by Managers which beats any hotel I have ever stayed in. You can talk with other travellers on the back verandah. Brisbane has something unique and very memorable in this tiny hotel. I look forward to another stay.
Awesome place. Toni is amazing and extremely helpful and friendly. Room is spotless. Bed very comfortable.
Very friedly and welcoming staff. We stayed for only one night, but felt like home at this place. Free parking when available, brakfast and wifi (working very well) is included. 5 min walk to the mall. We can recommend to stay there!
LOVED IT!!! Absolutely wonderful staff! The accomodations were basic yet thoughtful. I really enjoyed my time at ASI. They were accomadating and even offered support and help with some technical difficulties that I had. Also, you cannot beat the location that this is in. Very ideal for backpackers. Overall, I would definately book with them if I am ever in Brisbane.

Happy with our stay it's nice and affordable but just needs maybe a bit more, living equipment like bowls and spoons, but otherwise good
The owner was awesome with our situation. Helped my friend out. The rooms are basic but that's to be expected and is all we needed. Beds were comfy, room was clean and quiet. Easy to find, close to public transport and everything in the Valley
Great management attitude and service. Simple rooms adequately fitted out and is good value for the money. Not as close to free city shuttle so do be prepared to walk a but unless you want to pay for city buses. Good service counts for a lot!
A wonderful treasure tucked away in Spring Hill but close to the city & amenities. Our room was clean, tidy & comfortable with bathroom & kitchennette. Overall, our five nights were enjoyable, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. My wife appreciated the shower being hot, with strong pressure. The addition of a toaster was welcome and the television set was excellent.
