was feeling very flustered with two little ones it was such a busy day that day for a mum if 2 it was a pleasant gesture to be greeted by staff upon check in who made us feel acknowledged & welcomed they even gave my daughters a travel colouring pack that kept them busy while i unpacked
Highly recommend staying here when arriving late or leaving in morning! Restaurant is fantastic - along with everything else in this fab hotel. And it's very very quiet! No airport noise at all.
I go here a lot. So close to the airport. Every time I go here it is great service. Polite friendly and helpful staff. Food is always topnotch. Even the room service was very well Presented. Wagyu beef sirloin with all the artisan roast vegetables brought to my room late at night because I had the munchies. Booking early it's usually solid but well worth it.
We stayed overnight during our layover and very much enjoyed our experience. It was a short walk away from the Domestic Airport, there was a fabulous restaurant and bar on location as well as a delicious breakfast buffet. The chairs in the restaurant were plus size friendly. The services we received were AMAZING! They even have a pillow menu and yes, it is exactly what it sounds like: a menu with a...
Lovely hotel, close to airport, convenient with nice bar, good restaurant, the girls were excellent. The manager was very knowledgeable but didn't have the best inter personal skills. The bar and wait girls were warm and funny!
Just needed a night to stay before I flew down to Sydney. The service was sensational the staff were a amazing. They couldn't be any more helpful. Always asking if you were alright . The new menu was amazing. I recommend when they reopen to the public in full please come and try. Good value for what your taste buds are about to go through. Sensational flavours

My mum and I had a wonderful stay
Lovely hotel with good service. Room was lovely. We booked for River view room, but was allocated to a non-river room. Talked to the receptionist but was advised that they only provide a room type, not with a view. Only I shown her the room that we picked that she said we can change to river view room, but the ceiling is much lower. It was 2nd day of our hotel stay, so didn’t push it further. Overall...
Luxury in an historical building of Brisbane. Clean rooms, impressive sealing everything was perfect+ quiet considering been situated in town
I will definitely return to this great accommodation. What a spectacular building and so well kept.
It's not bad. It's quite big. The bathroom has a bathtub. It's in the central area. There's a pedestrian street just across the street.
This is an old hotel, the facilities inside are old and novel, but the service is problematic. A credit card deposit is required for check-in, fearing that you will eat and drink the food and beverages in the mini bar, which is understandable. But what is incomprehensible is that someone knocked on the door intermittently from 5 o'clock in the morning, and when I went to check, there was no one. It...

Excellent location and buffet breakfast is awesome
Decent nothing to write home about. Older hotel showing its age. Beds comfy. Clean and nice staff. What’s not to like.
Clean hotel with excellent location and friendly staff.
A very comfortable and well located hotel. The room was spacious and well appointed. The Walnut room for cocktails and drinks was lovely and relaxing. A stroll around the Botanic Gardens, over the new Kangaroo Point Bridge and along to the many restaurants of choice makes for a wonderful night away. We look forward to staying here again.
Hotel is in a great location. Short walk to the ferry and the city. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained.
We only stayed one night as we had our nephews 21st held nearby. book in was easy and the staff member very friendly and helpful. Also a staff member out the front when we entered through the front door was friendly as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the View Hotel in Brisbane. Waking up to that beautiful river view was a treat, and the room was a comfortable haven after a day of exploring. Its proximity to key tourist attractions made getting around so easy and convenient. A great choice for a Brisbane getaway!
Very nice . Front desk staff very friendly and professional. Room terrific. Used dining room. Food was good. Breakfast was chaos. Not enough trained staff servicing the busy breakfast dining room. Kitchen did their job of making decent food. Overall a really nice place to stay. Just need to train their Dining room staff and it would be excellent.
Nice hotel, lacks sufficient storage space and clarity around information (wifi, ordering, etc). Overall a good experience
This was a cozy little, older style, hotel. The staff are really amazing here. Some facilities, such as the room showers and outdoor hot tub, could do with an update for cleanliness purposes. Sauna was wonderful to have available and they kept facilities open late for us. The beds and pillows were SO comfortable. Restaurant is lovely and wait staff are all lovely. Overall it had a great vibe and was...
Incredible views of the Brisbane river and beyond. Lovely hotel with decor that is getting a little dated now, but it's clean. The price is good so it's worth it. Only about 10 minutes to the airport so it suited us well. We got the 50 cent ferry into the city which was awesome. But be aware it's a 20 minute walk to the ferry terminal and it gets very hot.
Customer Service was loveley, buffet breakfast was very nice, the ladies/men in the kitchen/reception & housekeeping were very helpful and friendly. Can't fault anything will stay again.

Andrew Newman and his team at Mercure Brisbane King George Square made my stay and first time in Brisbane as friendly and hospitable as possible. From valeting my car to small niggling issues with the room, Andrew was the man to the rescue! He did so without fuss and with the utmost professionalism, hospitality and most importantly care. The rooms, pool, gym and facilities are brilliant and well...
Enjoyed a couple of nights here in mid August. Unfortunately the rooftop restaurant wasn’t open. Other than that, the facilities were good (enjoyed the pool even though the weather was at the cooler end of Queensland expectations), my room was quiet and well appointed. Arrival chocolate was a nice touch. Plenty of cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, shops and tourism things immediately nearby.
It was ok, comfortable enough but a bit disappointing given the 280 plus price tag for the night. Staff were friendly and it's a great location but here's some of the shortfalls experienced: Bins not changed overnight, do not disturb sign still meant cleaners cleaned my door so it banged, dirty wine glasses in the room, next doors dirty roomservice dishes out the front of our room was there over ...
Relaxing, spacious and spotlessly clean Couldn't fault the Mercure during our two night visit. The staff, all the way from management, through to reception and the cleaners were courteous and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was excellent - spotlessly clean and ample supplies of all that we needed like shampoo, soap, towels, cups etc. Location is close to everything you...
Just spent 4 nights. Such a wonderful location. Front desk staff and concierge were wonderful, helpful and most obliging. Breakfast buffet at $42pp was totally overpriced for value and choices. Room service tray remained in the corridor for 2 days without collection.
Check in lounge looks classy and the hotel is in an excellent location! Apart from that, there’s really nothing to brag about. Rooms are old and tired. Bathroom is cramped and old. The hairdryer doesn’t even work (it’s those old, truly archaic ones that are stuck to the wall haha). Had to call housekeeping twice to get an actual/proper hairdryer sent up. Stay here if you just need a quick overnight...

From the moment we called to book, right up until we checked out, the staff and service was exceptional. Johnny who checked us in and out was amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He truly is an asset to this hotel. We were complimentary upgraded to a suite and the room was beautiful with a great view. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We’ll be back.
Nice place to stay if you choose the right room. Good breakfast. Lee and Dave both showed top customer service. Lee deserves a Special prize as he made sure I get a quiet room, upgraded my room and allowed late checkout. Will certainky come back. I only have it four stars as I have stayed in better hotels before. So, 4.5 would be better.
Friendly service at reception with the rooms being a decent size and with king beds. Tidy and clean as expected. On Friday afternoons there is complementary glasses of champagne. There are 2 complementary bottles of water at the desk in the room. The restaurant can be busy at breakfast times as the hotel is across the road from Ronald McDonald house. The hotel is a few minutes walk to South bank...
Right from check in we were made to feel special. The lady who checked us in was so lovely and welcoming. All of the staff we encountered were happy and helpful. Check out was easy and again the staff were so lovely. The hotel itself is beautifully presented and clean. The room was very comfortable, stylish and spotlessly clean. The location was perfect and so convenient for all of the restaurants...
The hotel was clean, professionally run and had a great location. When we arrived late in the day and asked for a quiet room away from the elevator, they gave us a corner room on the 6th floor with a partial view of the Brisbane River. Loved the quiet location. It felt removed from the hustle and bustle but access to attractions was great. Once we figured out we could hop on the CityCat ferries, everything was easy. Apartment was great, and we appreciated the assigned parking. Balcony was huge and it was nice sitting out after a day of exploring.
The road noise is definitely an issue in the peak hours, as is the view of a highway from a very very small balcony. Great location near Story Bridge
Well kept apartment. Excellent facilities. Easy access to bus and ferry , convenience store and Story Bridge Hotel for great dining . Nice river walk . Excellent staff at reception.

friendly receptionist. he helped us with information about shop times for the Easter break. great breakfast and good value for money. Easy to walk into the centre took us around 20 minutes.
Nice little queen room with a tidy ensuite. Very good for a place to crash after a night out in the city but I wouldn't plan on spending time in the room. The attached bar was overpriced and snooty but they did turn around for a nice breakfast but push to get it included.
Modern, clean rooms. Delicious breakfast next door. Parking signage was unclear, and one of us had to run to the desk to find out how it worked.
Tight but comfy room with a great shower and ample products. The restaurant is pretty good too. I had the half BBQ chicken and it was juicy with a crispy skin and good flavour. Polite staff make this an enjoyable place to stay.

Stayed for 14 days quarantine. Great amenities. Got 2 bedrooms, lounge, 2 balconies, fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Great views as stayed on 18th floor. Very friendly staff even gave Christmas gift for our two kids, so kind of them. Food is okay but not that great limited options available but understandable during the pandemic. Very impressed! We did our 14-day quarantine here and were very comfortable and well fed the whole time. We particularly liked the well appointed kitchen, the laundry and the balcony.

modest but comfortable rooms, a little bit creaky/noisy, but in a great location and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful :) great as a place to sleep after long day of being out!
We had a terrible experience! The rooms had dirty carpets, and the air conditioning did not work correctly, making huge noises and filling the air with mould. Besutiful location and helpful friendly staff. Restaurant and room service stop at 9.00pm. Location is fabulous with awesome water views. Food is fabulous when it's available. Rooms are lovely and clean and nice bath products however when l had a shower the water covered the bathroom floor. No rubber on the bottom of the door!

Pleasantly surprised! Got upgraded to a new room on last night and wish I was the the full 3 nights. Great space, staff and location for the price
The MOST comfortable bed, pillows made of clouds, curtains that block the entire outside out (if that’s what you want) and all the amenities you could want in a studio hotel room to come back and collapse in after cutting a rug on a wedding dance floor. Didn’t want to leave my cocoon of bliss. Thanks for a great stay!

It was decent, nothing exceptional. There’s a short flight of stairs leading to the entrance, and you’ll need to push the door open to access the lobby. This can be quite inconvenient if you’re carrying multiple large bags. The lobby itself is small and shared with the bar and dining area, and due to the building’s layout, the space feels quite cramped and confined.

Huge shout out to Eden for being so welcoming despite my late check-in at 11pm! She was super nice and as a first timer in Brisbane recommended me some cool areas to visit given my limited time to spend in the city. Though the hotel is pretty aesthetic, oddly enough i find it slightly creepy due to the lighting. Also because the building has a unique architecture. A bit disappointing when i saw the kettle in my room is kinda rusty. I feel like they should have replaced it
