Mantra Tullamarine Hotel

I know this sounds mad but there was no clear indication of how to enter and only found out by entering adjoining airport parking...It is this parking where you park as a hotel guest on the 4th level at a cost of $29 that gives you a single entry and exit...
Pay the extra $1 to park on any level...
We booked an accessible room that although had a reasonable bathroom was far from suitable...From the narrow entry with hard to open doors and limited space and not to mention the fridge at the far side of the room that was in a cupboard with impossible access. We had to move the bed 2 feet to gain wheelchair access to the bed.
Then there was the fact that the main light switch was faulty and took considerable effort to get the lights to even turn on (and that was only after I got electrocuted)...
We managed to get down stairs before the 10am checkout and went for breakfast which we booked to the room only to be told 2 minutes into eating that we had 7 minutes before breakfast closed...the toaster was turned off after 4 minutes...
Overall, this place needs much improvement before we return.

It’s a nice hotel with good rooms. However, the customer service is 0.
Our flight got cancelled and had to stay over in Mantra but staff were not friendly and we found them rude. Maybe because we did not pay for the stay as it was covered by Jetstar.
The Chinese guy at reception really need to learn how to speak with their customers.
