PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport, Melbourne1 / 50
8.4
Melbourne, Arrivals Drive, Tullamarine 🧭 Map
Conveniently located, for a highly ranked hotel the rooms are very outdated. Parking is horrendous and barely any extensive info provided except a recording when you call through. No signage to show you where to go and you have to park with everyone else parking at the airport so parking spots at peak hours are hard to find. You have to have a card to enter parking and pay when you leave which is very...
Special thanks to Debby, Jessica, Sandy and Catherine at reception, and Aimee at airo for making my stay so pleasant. There were some other lovelies too. The room was very clean, and some lovely toiletries provided, big bathroom, bath, shower and toilet. A couple of things interfered with a perfect 5. Don't leave a bill under the door at 4am when the customer has already paid. I found the guy who answered...
Rating as a seminar venue. It's very convenient if some of the team are flying in. Well sound proofed (even better than cbd ones, definitely can't hear planes). Team who stayed the night were happy with it. Staff were friendly and attentive. Only minor issues for them to improve are the food labelling (labelling each dish and being clear on vegetarian vs vegan), and system for validating parking ...
Stayed here in order to save time for an early flight the next morning, it was very convenient and took a lot of the stress out of travelling to the airport first thing. Rooms are in the process of being upgraded. The rooms were surprisingly quiet given you're right next to the airport! There was a bar and restaurant and breakfast was included in the morning, making it all very convenient. Would definitely...
Perfect location for a morning flight without worrying about morning traffic. Stayed in a deluxe king room $360 including breakfast. Great view over the airport, was worried it might be too noisy with planes talking off but was well insulated and relatively quiet. Bed was comfortable, room clean, slightly dated but nice. Buffet breakfast very tasty, omelette station, real coffee included. Would stay...
So close to Qantas you can fall out of bed onto your gate.

Really good location! Everything was clean and tidy and exactly what we needed.
Rooms were good. The staff was kind enough to fetch a different room for us on extra cost as we were looking for a better room. Location is in the heart of St Kilda which is a happening place. Recommended.
Great location close to restaurants and the beach. Service they went through the motions nothing friendly or outstanding Rooms whilst decent size were hot despite the air conditioning and we were in the front of the hotel where the trams ran until 1.30am and started again at 5.30am so not much sleep wouldn’t stay there again
The location was fantastic, right by Luna Park, the beach, shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and my room was large and comfy. That said, there is NO WiFi in the rooms, so if that's important to you, get a SIM card with data.
I stayed for 2 nights, I didn't like that I had to pay $25 a night parking. The room was alright, the bedding was clean, the bathroom stunk of stale water/urine, it wasn't pleasant. Friday night there was a lot of noise and someone's car alarm was going on and off from around 2 till at least 4.30. I wouldn't stay again. You need to something about the bathroom.
The hotel staff are very kind and answered all of the questions we had. There is also a nice guest lounge to wait around if you’re early. For us, they stored our luggage so we could continue our day without bringing it around The room was great value, especially for a two-bedroom apartment. It has a nice kitchenette and bathroom. The main living space is also very accomodating. Only comment is that...

Only a 3.5 star hotel. Lack of detail in rooms. No information sheet, no fan in bathroom, no wine glasses, no pen and paper next to phone. Hard to contact room service to get ice, glasses etc. Spa didn’t work. However food was good. Obviously hard to get staff and everything has to be found out online. Not enough coat hangers. No coffee mugs.
A nice hotel. Sauna, spa, pool and gym were great. The rooms were very clean and relatively modern, but were missing a few extra touches that I expect from high-end hotels. For example, a bathrobe, slippers and spare blanket would have been appreciated without me needing to ask for them. However, the staff were very accommodating. Some of the conference rooms (including the State rooms) seemed a bit...
It was a pleasant experience staying here. We stayed here for 3days. Proximity to nearby locations is great. Concierge Service is commendable, Mr Rhett Constantine helped me to Book my MCG tour, really thankful to him, i was struggling to get reservation due to national holiday, but Rhett helped me too book the appointment. Overall experience was good. Enjoyed our stay here.
My stay for a conference was very good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was fine and everything was clean and well presented.
A little disappointing. Check in with Alice was excellent. Room was roomy, modern and well appointed. Executive lounge was okay, apart from a very limited selection of beers and food was ordinary with hot food hardly warm. Should take an example from your sister hotel in the city, The Sofitel. Woken at 4am by a fan or something starting up and with the continued noise, kept my wife and I awake for...
Very nice place to stay. I am a regular here. Very clean with very friendly staff. Amenities are all there and in good repair. I would recommend to anyone.

I stayed here for two nights during the Australian Open and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the Melbourne CBD. The location is incredible. The hotel is within walking distance from many great restaurants and bars, roughly a ten minute walk to the Australian Open city entrance. As for the hotel itself, they offer free bottled water both in the lobby and in the room,...
I stayed at this hotel in 2023 for the Australian open. I liked it so much but I decided to stay again this year for the Australian Hoen. Beautiful, beautiful hotel with large rooms and unbelievable service. Plus as a bonus the breakfast was amazing. Highly recommended.
Have had many stays in Sydney Westin so time to give Melbourne Westin a go. Nice clean room, comfy bed, luxurious bathroom, modern room with a nice view of a court yard. Light breakfast, coffee and drinks down stairs. (Alot of crumbs on the floor and stains on the velvet sofas is not a good look for a five star hotel though) Sydney Westin has a more luxurious feeling and better maintenance (Melbourne...
We had a wonderful stay! It was a very easy check in and our room was ready really early. Room itself was clean and spacious. Loved the little balcony:) Top location with everything walking distance! Breakfast had a great selection, good coffee as well! But mainly staff is really lovely! They just go above and beyond:)
It's a beautiful and luxurious room with a great view of the street. I liked how polite and professional the staff was. I only had one complaint, the concierge didn't help us get a doctor's visit on a Saturday when my wife fell sick. While I know it was hard, I was hoping that the hotel had a regular doctor.

Unbelievable!!! Loved the location, the service, the lounge... impeccable service... breakfast was excellent!!! Evening appetizers were better than I expected!! Wine at the lobby at all times... early check in, late check out, 2 bottles of wine as amenities... They made us feel like royalties🥰🥰🥰
Great location and good breakfast. Try all the Melbourne version coffees. Service at the breakfast was excellent, frontdesk a lot of room of improvement, that is an understatement! Bellboy was there to help with the suitcases, very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very old, feels more like a 3 star hotel. Wifi is good, little noice even it's on the main busy road.
Was greeted at check-in by very friendly staff who saw I needed a glass of champagne at 5pm - thank you. The room was roomy and clean on the 10th floor. Location is also good, close to many attractions.
Hotel is a little understaffed.. Don't expect any help with bags. Not happening here, Upton arrival my Marriott visit disappeared from my app and the local staff had no idea how to rectify other than instructing me to "open a ticket" (thanks Marriott I'm here to serve). Didn't check out property to much so could not comment on gym/pool etc.. Seemed nice enough, carpets in elevator could use changing...
Breakfast was basic but certainly everything you need. Staff were amazing.
The whole Marriott Melbourne team was amazing. I travel all over the world and I can tell you that the service here is world-class. I had a really bad day as my next morning tour was cancelled with such a short notice, while the reservation/front desk/concierge team make my life goes easier. Nothing was a problem. This is an exceptional hotel. Luxury plus!! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Best hotel in Melbourne.
This is one of my favourite hotels in the world. Rooms and service are amazing. The staff here are so friendly and kind as well. Well done on creating such a warm environment, can't wait for my next visit!
Reception staff are polite, friendly and helpful. The key card is made of bamboo and looks very nice. The rooms are clean and well kept. Depending on the direction of your room, the view can be very nice. The bed and bed linen is very comfortable. If I had to say one bad thing about the hotel rooms it would be that the shower screen is completely useless. Once the shower is turned on, even if the shower...
Could not rate Sofitel Melbourne more highly. Staff were all excellent especially in the Club Lounge. Room was lovely with great view. Quite a view of Melbourne if you get to the upper floors. Service staff were extremely helpful. A good area outside enables you to get a taxi, uber or valet. Food on floor 35 was well presented and staff were great! Prices can be a little steep, but you get what you pay for. Signage for elevator access could be improved, but asking staff is easy and they were great! Enjoy!
Wow. I work in hospitality and this hotel exceeds everything in every way. The staff are amazing the level of service is exceptional. As I’m in the industry I’m usually very critical but could not find anything the moan about. Incredible stay, excellent rooms and a lovely atmosphere upon entry. Special shout-out to Keylan who was such an amazing staff member. Also definitely check out the breakfast if you get a chance.
We had a wonderful stay at Rydges Melbourne and very highly recommend it. The hotel has been newly renovated to a high standard and has a modern decor. Our Twin King Suite was spacious, very clean and quiet. The only very minor quibbles are that the wardrobe is very narrow (not big enough for two people staying a week) and the sofas are too compact (not designed to lounge on while watching TV)....
I don’t normally write reviews unless I’ve had an amazing experience. I got just that at Rydges Melbourne. The customer service was amazing, Ebony helped us out any way she could and accommodated to our needs 24/7. The breakfast buffet was great, lots of options and great variety. A special mention and really big thank you to Ebony who went above and beyond to help make my fiancee's birthday very special. She was wonderful. Thanks for everything again, you'll see us soon!
An absolutely delightful overnight stay on Saturday night. My daughters and I enjoyed excellent, professional yet also relaxed and friendly service . Our second visit and stay and its certainly proving to have been a good choice. Great location. Good rooms. Quiet at night. Excellent staff. Good bar and restaurant. What's not to like?
Had a great warm welcome from the reception team and even got a yummy warm cookie on arrival! The bar and restaurant staff were also very friendly and attentive with great memories. Room amenities were well equiped and very clean. After a hard working day I enjoyed sitting next to the warm fire and enjoying a few happy hour wines.

Big and clean rooms. Service is good and staff is friendly. They have 24 hours room service but, if you wish to go out for food then you have to walk for atleast 20 min. Subway and one or two cafes are the only near by food joints (5-10min walk). I was really impressed by their spa and pool. Liked it! Overall my stay was good. ?
Good hotel bordering of four to five star. Appears very much a conference type venue. Enjoyed the large comfortable upgraded room overlooking Albert Park lake. Position is fantastic, so easy being on Southbank.
We stayed here in March 22 for 2 nights and admittedly it's a simply appointed and slightly dated hotel, but for the price point it exceeded our expectations. Some staff were friendly and helpful, others not so much, overall it was a comfortable and...
Staff were great. Hotel location perfect. But bathroom didn't seem to be cleaned properly. The cloth and soap from previous occupant was still in the shower, shower tiles has seen better days and the room temperature automatically changes to 23+ in the middle of the night so it gets quite hot during your sleep.
Nice spacious rooms. Good service and excellent location for the price point. Everything you'd need is a short walk away. Only one issue I noticed is with the air conditioning which was quite hard to control for some reason.
Comfortable beds, clean room, staff were friendly. Very basic hotel, but that's all we wanted. Loved that the room had a microwave and a smart tv which allowed screen sharing! A small issue at check in was resolved reasonably quickly and satisfactorily, and they gave us a bottle of wine for the inconvenience. Hotel was incredibly close to public transport and the city. I haven’t been to Melbourne for a long time. Maybe it is expected level of service. But I thoroughly enjoyed the stay, the service and a small gym facilities at the Langham. I was offered a late checking and managed to have another cup of coffee while listening to some classical piano play
This is my idea of a perfect hotel with character and comfort and class. The staff are absolutely fantastic - I’d like to quote Carl from customer relations who said “We always try and accommodate our guests wishes.” Our now grown up kids came for the first time and loved the hotel too - we swam each day, (the pool is enclosed and heated to 26 degrees and it was great even in the middle of winter)...
Gorgeous hotel. Loved the valet and baggage services. Easy check in. Rooms were beautiful with a spectacular view. Well maintained, perfect service. Overall, I would definitely stay again should I win lotto or get some massive inheritance. Warning that this hotel is VERY expensive and don't look for things to be all inclusive. Everything has an additional charge.
For a true 5 star experience look nowhere else. In a perfect location, the staff are so courteous and professional, rooms are so well presented with comfy bedding. The buffet breakfast and dining options available is insane and the quality of food is amazing.

Two bathrooms, spacious, little balcony, Fox, great kitchen, friendly staff, clean, bath for kids, quiet, very close to Marvel stadium, Southern Cross station, the dock and DFO, very reasonably priced.
Only complaints I have is the a/c stop working in Bedroom. The pillows were the worst. The bed was excellent size, but when rolling to other side felt as though the other side was on a decline of 30%. Besides this the room was clean, functional and very close to Marvel Stadium. Rooms and location was quite for good nights rest.
Stayed here whilst attending week 1 of the Australian Open. Really handy location, close to Trams for Melbourne Park, nice & peaceful, no noise at all. Well set up apartment so could set up home for a week. Easy for Skybus back to airport too. And a gym next door that can use if you want to keep up fitness. Great value for money..
Likely the best hotel I've ever stayed in within the Melbourne CBD. Not only are the rooms great and clean, the location cannot be beat. Just a few minutes' walk from Southern Cross via the stadium. The kitchenette was lovely to have, and our room even had a private washer/dryer that worked great. Woah I could've stayed longer
The bed was very comfortable and thank you to the lovely Joyce and Sidesh for helping us get into our rooms when we arrived back late at night when there was an issue with the door. Great customer service, look forward to visiting again. Thanks lovely lady.
I stayed 4 nights on a business trip, I have to say that the bed was the best I have ever slept in, just the right firmness for my back. I loved that housekeeping came in daily to refresh my towels and kept the place fresh. The dining chairs do need to be replaced through as the coverings are peeling and uncomfortable. This place will make you feel like royalty! The rooms are amazing. They have everything you could possibly need even a safe! My favourite parts are the window ledge seat (mid to higher floors), the layout of the bathroom & the tv in the bathtub. I always watch my favourite show Frasier in the bath whenever I can.

Location was close to venue. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Onsite parking (additional $25 per night).
Tv was broken from my arrival but even when fixed it could nor recieve digital channels, it also was so old and small it was rubbish. The rooms were tired run down only upside was the bed was comfortable.
The staff are excellent, the service was really good in most instances & the breakfast buffet was wonderful. I really enjoyed interacting with the friendly & helpful people. Sadly, I'm too disabled to walk the distance to & from the tram stop in this location, thus I outlaid a lot of $$ on uber/taxis. Also, while there is a small swimming pool, it was not fully topped up with water, the ladder was...
For the business traveller, fair at best. Very old and showing its very old age everywhere you look. Basic rooms, empty old bar fridge with not even a bottle of water, busted tables, and no USB charging ports in the room (its 2023 guys!). Nah, they should do better at these prices for a big brand hotel.
Arrived at the hotel very early with the only expectation to be able to park our ca and leave our bags before heading out to the city. The service was wonderful and they allowed us to access our room immediately, including the upgrade as a platinum member. The hotel is an older building however beautifully maintained, clean and tidy. Our room was huge with lots of space and a large renovated bathroom...
Hotel is cozy and staffs are friendly. If you’re looking for a simple hotel in Melb because maybe for your work I recommend you to stay here. Although it is noisy because the hospital and trams are nearby, it is a very comfortable place to stay in. However the food they are serving is all the same everyday so it really is a little boring at some times. Other than that it’s a very nice place to stay...

Good and clean hotel but overpriced for the facilities and services. Definitely needed renovation and the offered buffet for breakfast was not the one expected for this category. Also the area for the breakfast had the most awful and awkward tables and chairs I have ever seen. They were like someone took them from a kindergarten and placed them to a 5 star hotel.
This is such a hidden gem of the city. Rooms like a luxury feel without the price tag. Exceptionally pleasant staff. We also had a conference here and the service and value for money was the best we have experienced. Highly rated experience and we look forward to hosting and being hosted here again.
This is wonderful hotel, our room is spacious, neat, clean and reasonably stylish. The beds are firm soft and absolutely perfect for us. Service is great and the location is again central to our needs. My pics are a bit dark, but it's a great room. Thank you.
The staff at reception were lovely and very friendly and helpful
Booked a single night with disabled daughter and was thrilled with the level of service and polite, attentive, considerate care. The room was quiet, clean and had a home-like ambience, not at all like a purely functional, sterile Hotel room. The spa was used multiple times to the delight of my daughter and was an excellent stress reliever. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room temperature...
Had a great time. The buffet breakfast was great. The decor is dated, but the beds were very comfortable. Harry's Bar is one very lifeless part of the hotel. The barman didn't even acknowledge me, and there were only two other people there. Staff were polite. Great location.
