The Victoria Hotel, Melbourne1 / 50
8.9
Melbourne, 215 Little Collins Street 🧭 Map
Excellent location - in the city heart and close to all amenities. Very clean Excellent helpful staff Good lounge bar with snack food, not expensive.
Overall, only 3 stars as the room is small, quite noisy and looks old fashioned. House keeping is pretty good as they come and clean everyday
Hotel price is pretty pricey as it cost around $800+ SGD for 1 week stay and no hotel breakfast. Good location as it is at the CBD area
The rooms layout is a bit of a maze especially if you get a room further from the lifts and have to drag your luggage through the labyrinth
Nice location in the CBD, very central and close to Flinders train station and the Yarra river. Clean and tidy. Happy with the experience
It's a great, not expensive but also not budget option hotel, it's literally the best option we could think of for a place you want to just want to go too and know you'll get a good rest, with everything you need available, while not glamorous, rooms are well kept, function as you need

Clarion Suites Gateway, Melbourne1 / 36

Melbourne, 1 William Street 🧭 Map
Liked it. Good sized room. We had nice views inland with a sea glimpse. Super spread for breakfast which included a gluten free bar which was nice to see
I had dinner one evening in the restaurant and it was very good. It was good value for what I paid
Ate at restaurant first night and the food was very good, service also very good. It was annoying that they closed on Sundays. Today Monday is a Bank Holiday and again closed
The suite was spacious, immaculate, and offered a breathtaking view over the river Yarra & the Southbank, particularly at sunset when the lights come on & special fire displays starts at intervals along the riverbank
The entire hotel ambiance was calm and welcoming, but what stood out most was the reception staff—so kind, helpful, and genuinely courteous. Their warmth made us feel right at home
The buffet breakfast was generous and varied. I highly recommend the chef signature omelet. Added to our comfy stay was the swimming pool which was a perfect place to unwind

The best bits: the staff were so friendly and helpful. The lobby area is very welcoming. The buffet breakfast was great value. The less good parts: rooms were tired
All spotless, well lit, warm and even built in desk and couch. Comfy bed, good shower pressure. Had a drink at the bar - enjoyable space
Staff were so friendly and efficient especially the staff working in the restaurant for breakfast over the weekend. Breakfast was very good value including all the traditional buffet breakfast foods
My room also had a mini clothes washer/dryer which I wish I knew about beforehand as I could have brought my running gear to take advantage of the incredibly convenient footpaths along the river
Given the price of the accommodation was not expecting that much but the standard room I booked was really spacious complete with ensuite bathroom and a private balcony and table/chairs
Was looking for a Thai feed so didn’t eat at the hotel - lots of restaurants and eateries about 10 minute walk towards the city. Would definitely stay here again

Jasper Boutique Hotel, Melbourne1 / 34

Melbourne, 489 Elizabeth Street 🧭 Map
The hotel was well located and all the facilities were good enough. However it markets itself as a design hotel, which apart from an exhibition downstairs, I didn't really "get"
I liked the bathroom set out but shower could have done with a good clean of the screens and rubber seals, maybe it’s just age - even the shower head could hardly keep it self up preferring to bow in shame
Travelling for work the location of the Jasper hotel is good with easy tram access, Queen Vic Markets and some reasonable food choices. I was always greeted pleasantly. I stayed on two separate nights
First night large room, outside balcony and comfortable bed. The lounge just looked grotty - so I wasn’t sitting on that! Next room was smaller, but well set out, again bed was comfortable
On the “quiet side” 7am building noise - no alarm clock required! The website says “big things are coming” - let’s hope so!
The brown, loose carpet felt sticky. The room had a kettle, fridge, iron and water bottles were also included

The staff went above and beyond to help us and the whole day/night went so well and the venue looked amazing! All the staff did an excellent job always answering our emails and questions and were very kind and welcoming to us both and all our guests
Fabulous room with comfy beds and excellent customer service. The staff were attentive and friendly. Situated across the road from the beach , after our morning walk ,we came back to a delicious breakfast basket
This property is in a great location with bay views. Food at the restaurant was really good. Only downfall was that the water in the shower was hot enough to my liking.
Our host for the night was also unreal!!! She went above and beyond to help us out with anything and was very accommodating with any changes and keeping everything else on schedule
The food was also amazing and we had so much excellent feedback from our guests about the food from start to finish and how great the room was set up and the Savoy as a whole
I've attended quite a few functions at the Brighton Savoy, and I consider it one of my favourite venues. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the food top notch and the staff super friendly. First class all the way.

On the third day, the room was cleaned. There are also places to eat nearby. After passing the traffic lights after exiting the hotel, walk down and there is a very good steakhouse on the right
The water temperature in the hotel must be criticized. There is a serious lag between hot and cold. It is either too hot or too cold. The price is also very expensive, and the price/performance ratio is average
Maybe there was language communication problem and it was not cleaned every day. Then on the last day, I felt that maybe they cleaned the hotel in the morning. It took two or three days to clean out the garbage bags
The rooms are large and located in the city center, about a 7-minute walk from Chinatown. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerators, home appliances and dishwashers.
The room facilities are a bit outdated, the washing machine and dryer are separate, and the model is a bit outdated. The hotel has an excellent location, with a large flat-floor view of the city and hot air balloons
The water in the shower faucet in the bathroom is weak, and the water temperature is sometimes hot and sometimes cold 6. The room facilities are very old, and the kitchen cabinet is broken😩

The beds are comfortable commercial Sealy pillowtops which are excellent if you need support. Sure, its not high end but its decent and close to plenty of great locations
We stayed at Mantra couple weeks ago. We enjoyed our stay at Mantra. The room was well presented but not very clean(dusty bed side lump and water marks on the shower screen). Good enough for how much we paid
It was nice to have 2 bathrooms in our 2 bed room but would've been good to have a tv in one of the bedrooms for the kids as well
The buffet breakfast had all the hot and cold choices you would expect and the quality was excellent
Nice enough. Good location. Lighting problems in whole apartment though. Not as clean as could be. Staff friendly and responsive.
The Chinese manager (sorry I forgot her name) helped us with our luggages even we never ask for help. She come to room help us with the wash machine. She greet us on the street after work

Staying in a nice one bedroom apartment could not fault the place. Stove oven fridge freezer washing machine and dryer. Free internet. The location was good as we had work functions in the area. Easy walk to trams.
I've stayed at numerous places in the area and Adara goes above and beyond. I will continue to stay here when needing to go to Epworth the staff are what keeps me coming back, keep up the good work Adara
I have stayed here a few times as a nursing student. The rooms are always incredibly clean kudos to the cleaning staff they do an impeccable job. The front desk staff are some of the best in the area
Good reliable free wifi. Nicely maintained rooms. Reception not open 24 hours, but arrangements can be made for after hours check in.
I could hear the trams and traffic (this did not bother me) but it might if you are light sleeper. Reception staff (both check in and out) where so lovely. Recommend if you can get a good price
A great location if you are needing to be close to the hospital. I only needed one night and the room was clean, comfortable and good size but furniture was a bit worn and dated

Nice room and furniture, got a 2bed with balcony. Nice space and good quality room. Happy with location and location to shops and waterfront. Close to walk.
The Sebel is in a great location and the rooms are well appointed and clean. The view was fantastic and staff were friendly and efficient. We had a really enjoyable stay as a family.
Beds were comfortable. Quiet room. Apartment was small but had everything you need. Shower was good pressure and we enjoyed our stay
Excellent service, Nice experience ever had. Car park cost $40 per day.

Very good location in a quiet street. Just around the corner from Fitzroy Street hint. There is parking available but for very low vehicles. If you contact them you can go around the back and it's higher to get in
If you can get this at a good price, it's a great spot for an overnight or a couple of days in this vibrant place. Hint call first regarding parking. There is parking on one side which is very low headroom of 1
They make the room everyday.. towels can be changed as per request. Location is good if u drive.. overall pretty clean.. will recommend it
Good position, lots of restaurant and night life at walking distance. The gym was not big, just a few machines, and the pool is outdoor so was closed when I went.
Excellent location, close to shops, beach, cycle path and the tram/bus but also on a nice quiet road
I wanted a single room for 5of us near CBD and Quest at St Kilda delivered it, that too in my budget! It was a nice cozy apartment with all the necessary amenities like washing, kitchenette, kitchen accessories etc

A great hotel. We took the double bed rooms and these came fully equipped even with a washer and dryer amongst all the other standards. Free wifi was good. We're hoping to stay here again next year!
Thank you to the lovely staff of Adina especialky Katie and PJ who pointed us to the best places in Melbourne. The accommodation was clean and well catered for. We will be back
Good sized rooms with separate bedroom, kitchen and lounge area. Good location near Southern Cross station and across the river from Crown. We could easily stay here for a week.
The biggest disappointment was the noise level from the lounge room A/C which needs repairing although it did function, and the couch is well passed it's prime and needs replacing
Conveniently located within walking distance to Spencer Street station with a tram stop out front. Two bedroom suite was spacious with kitchen and two bathrooms
Staff were prompt when attending any problems which turned out to only be flat batteries which were preventing the safe from operating

Great place to stay We were a family of 4 adults. Unit was a good size although a bit more couch seating options would have been great. Excellent location and free parking was definitely a win
Best spot, right next to a really nice Coles and the best of Melbourne on your doorstep. Great room, and had everything you could want. Would come back in a heartbeat.
Excellent service, apartment brilliant, great amenities, great location, great dinning in the area, short distance to centre of Melbourne, highly recommended
There were larger 2 bedroom units which I wasn’t really aware of so would ask for one of those next time…. Overall, an excellent place to stay! Thanks 😊
Comfortable, well appointed and great location. Comfortable stay, location was perfect for exploring or staying in. No noise from the street below, apartment was comfortable and with all necessities provided
Large and comfortable, friendly front desk, tram nearby and a Coles metro. Fitzroy area has lots of bars and food.

No complaints, very good value for money. Heaps of restaurants (mainly Italian) nearby, big rooms, lots of facilities in the room (kitchen with microwave, big fridge)
Excellent value for money - rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was second to none. Will definitely return
Great food excellent service very knowledgeable staff cannot fault
Great location. Comfortable rooms. Good free WiFi. A bit loud - street noise in the night and early morning.
super close to amazing food, friendly staff that are there to let you into the building at all hours, clean rooms/aircon that works beautifully/microwave etc and super quiet for a peaceful sleep! really kind and let me have a late check out as well?
Rooms are a bit outdated, but are spacious and the renovated bathrooms definitely make up for that. Overall great stay close to the city

Best of all - no sounds could be heard through the adjoining walls! Just a 5 minute walk to shops, cafes/restaurants, trams, beach and pier. Highly recommended for any travellers wanting to stop in St Kilda
Brand new, awesome service And the best location ever! The trees down this street are so beautiful! King, the manager is the most amazing guy, always so friendly and Accommodating
Rooms are dark, good space though. Put the air con on and it was dusty and we spent the rest of the time sneezing and itchy. No service during the stay, we had to wait for someone to request more toilet paper
The rooms are exceptionally clean, beds are super comfy, tea/coffee facilities are spot on, and there's even some breakfast goodies in the fridge
Shower was not good - either ice cold or burning hot. Temperature changed without changing the tap. The bathroom smelt mouldy though nothing obvious. Tram line right outside which can be heard in the room
A light breakfast included in our price and there were full kitchen facilities in our 1 bedroom apartment. Short walk to St Kilda Beach and waterfront eateries, Acland St shops, Luna Park, St Kilda Market

Parking is $10/day, and the location is really good being close to Melbourne Zoo and the tram that leads into the city proper
In saying that, this hotel is where you stay for budget accommodation. The rooms are decent enough, but perhaps not as perfectly clean as other hotels
Location excellent with trams right outside - no inner city weirdos lurking around. Room seems recently renovated and fresh. King room was bigger than expected for an inner city hotel
The aesthetic of the hotel is amazing, and it's convenience to the City and especially the universities is great. Would recommend to park here, stay for a quick nap and then go about your day
Even know theres a bit of upgrading to the hotel going on right now, it's still a rad place to stay. Special mention to Sammy at reception. She went above and beyond to make my stay amazing
The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome when checking in. The hotel is opposite a football stadium and to the city's zoo

The room is large and spacious. It has everything you need. It is not crowded for four people. The view outside the room is also very good. The location is convenient. You can walk to the city center.
Although it is close to the train station, the soundproofing is good. The hygiene is OK, but the bathtub is broken and there is sticky stuff on the hair dryer. It is very close to the church, train station, etc
Located in the center of Melbourne, convenient for travel. The two-bedroom room I booked was very spacious and had a large balcony. I could have given it a full score, but I was not satisfied with the parking
The room is large, both bedrooms have bathrooms, and a public bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped, the living room and dining room are large, and there are three balconies
The entrance to the hotel garage is in a small alley at the back and is not easy to find. You need to enter 2 malt house lane in the navigation
The apartment was spacious in a great position and service was great

I’ve travelled to many places in Australia and the world and have never received such good service. When I landed on the 3/5/26 I found myself in a serious predicament
Unfortunately the room next door decided to party late which isn't ideal when you have an early flight. Apart from the noise from them, everything else was great
Because customers can leave their cars for lengthy times this is so convenient but I can assure you the cars are safely secured behind large gates
I’m an elderly lady with health issues and as I approached reception I was met with kindness, understanding and unbelievable support
Our room was very clean and spacious enough. Reception staff very pleasant. Incredibly close to the airport but extremely quiet
The Hotel itself is wonderful, however more importantly was the help I received which I needed until 1am the following day

Fantastic clean and close to everything. Staff are amazing
Clean ad great place to stay for F1 GP.
The fibreglass chairs on the balcony have deteriorated and so when we sat on them both of us broke out into fibreglass rash! ? I would stay here again because of the location; I'd just be wary of those chairs!
Location is awesome-only a 20 minutes walk along the Yarra to Rod Laver Arena. Really close to Parahn market and Chapel St shopping. Staff super friendly and rooms modern
My issue is that the rooms weren't as clean as I would expect. Our room had hair in the shower, and some dirty marks on pillows
