Rydges Perth Kings Square
Perth, 621 Wellington Street 🧭 Map
lovely hotel and so central! literally a 5 minute walk to central Perth. Very close to amenities and staff were amazing
Nicely appointed rooms and we had a nice view of RAC Arena. The staff were lovely and helpful when my Mum needed to check in early before me.
Loved the small lounge area and nespresso machine in the room.
The location was super handy. Most of the places I needed to go were walking distance and it only took a couple of minutes wait the two times I needed a ride share.
Looking forward to staying again...
Great hotel rooms with perfect location in the heart of Perth, close to shopping, dining and public transport. Has a small gym. Good restaurant with adequate choices for breakfast. Major let down with service, check-in look 90 minutes as they couldn't find the booking. There were multiple people in reception sorting out multiple issues for people before and after me. Wasn't the best first impression...
Absolutely amazing staff, room and service. Unfortunately due to my tight schedule I couldn't order food there but walking in fit smelt amazing. Amazing price too for a 5 start hotel
Well located, the rooms are very well maintained and of a decent size. Pillows are far bigger than my preference but they have a pillow menu so it's a non issue. Lovely cafe downstairs also charges to your room for convenience.
Like what others said, the room is clean and modern. Good WiFi! They have a good interesting breakfast option to have in your room. Stayed here twice. HOWEVER... sadly... the front desk lady (Cori? Didn’t get to see properly) was snobbish, disinterested and was bordering on being rude to my wife and I when we were checking out. Now as I’m writing this, I think they weren’t very friendly either when...

Unfortunately the noise outside my window was too loud.
Check in wasn’t as good as it should be, I was told that I could have my room in 20 minutes, only to return 40 minutes later and be told to wait for 30 minutes.
Very good experience in this hotel. The location is pretty good and the room is quiet.
have a false alarm during this trip. Luckily all safe
We stay during our visit to catch up with my daughter. And for few days, because she will stay with us , we ask for extra bed,it was on 11 July, very late night , no more house keeping around, so a guy who attend reception arranged the extra bed to deliver in next morning, and it's totally free?. Thaikyfi Mercure Perth on Hay
Hotel room was nice and cosy. The fridge area could be cleaned up more often. The view is nice with sun rising behind the buildings facing the hotel.
This hotel located around 15-20 minutes walk from Perth train station.
Can buy Day rider pass from train station on weekdays and Family rider on weekends only which is more value as it is for 2 person for the price of 1 and usable on all train, bus and even trans Perth ferry to Mends street from Elizabeth Quay.
Hotel is walkable from train station and most of the attractions is nearby the hotel....

Room was as advertised. Comfortable bed. Staff pleasant. Central location. Enjoyed room. But also: Money i saved booking early, taken back by extra charge for parking when hotel had its own under ground parking lot. $30 extrs a day. Also not up to 4 star expectation, with no microwave, cutlery was just one wooden stick, and no toaster or plates. Even at every 1 and 2 star and budget hotels we ever...
Stayed in the superior king room. $300 deposit which I was NOT informed about for a one night stay which cost $120. was told it would take 3 to 5 business days to get money back, has been a week haven’t gotten it back yet. Check in was underwhelming, staff could be more inviting or more informative about the hotels services. Was a nice enough room for a weekend get away (updated bathroom was nice)...
I just love the place.. the rooms are very clean and nice.. the stuffs are very friendly.. they have 24 hours check in facility which is awesome.. the location of the hotel is very convenient.. it's so easy to go anywhere from this place.. there are restaurants and bars near the hotel which is very convenient. If I visit Perth again, I would go back there again. Highly recommended for anyone who is...
The good: Bed linens, nice and clean. Bathroom updated. Downtown location walkable. The restaurant/bar did a great job. We had some tasty meals, breakfast and dinner. The smashed avo for breakfast was really well done. We had that twice and skipped the standard fare at the buffet.
The not so good: The $300 damage deposit. Tired and worn furniture, damage to counter surfaces and table edges. Really...
Went for dinner and to visit family. Room was clean and spacious, and seemed really quiet. Food at the office bar was delicious and the servings were great for the prices.
Nice hotel together with breakfast . They serve non halal food. The bed is good and comfortable. They also have swimming pool.

Convenient, clean and tidy, modern design and amazing complimentary breakfast
Very new but typical Holiday Inn style hotel with all the amenities you need as a business traveler. A gym and good restaurant is available. Very friendly and helpfull personnel. Prices in my opinion are a bit on the higher site but saying that it is usual for Australia
We stayed here after reading the reviews about the comfy beds. And yep! They were so comfy! Lovely pillows to choose from too. The rooms were super clean and quiet. We were able to sleep in without realising the time of day from the outside. The staff were lovely and we enjoyed the restaurant cheeseboard and wine. Consistent with the IHG brand in all aspects. So you know what you’re getting. Great renound Perth Italian restaurant downstairs which is a bit unique in my experience. Serves great breakfast, coffee and bar and dinner meals.
The rooms are very clean, bed is comfotable. The restaurant Julios, the food is very good for breakfast and dinner. The staff were very friendly and good service. The parking is the only let down, park a block away at car park.you can catch red cat bus into Perth. Or you can walk, took us about 30minutes.
Great location, beautiful room, extremely clean, modern, and both dinner and breakfast cooked well. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Highly recommended

Rendezvous Hotel Perth Central
Perth, 24 Mount Street, Western Australia 🧭 Map
The location is very convenient, the breakfast was substantial with plenty of selections. The rooms were spacious, the bed comfortable but could do with a bit of refurbishment. The staff were friendly and keen to help, we would stay there again.
In addition to the many points already raised by others about housekeeping being hit and miss and the state of the building being quite run-down, I would like to let future guests know that this is an extremely noisy hotel. The interior of the building has the shape of an echo well and all the music and clatter from the reception and restaurant is transported straight into the rooms. Staff do not seem...
TV wouldn't turn off had to pull the plug out at the wall. Would also take a while to warm up and screen come on. Toilet had no cover over button to push down and would catch under lid. Car park below designed for small cars, not 4x4 vehicles. $30 per night was a bit steep in price too.
Very understaffed in reception, bar and housekeeping. Long wait to be checked in. Heavy wardrobe doors fell off onto floor. Room not cleaned, dirty glasses, crockery etc still left from day before. Fire alarms went off twice during stay and could not hear announcements as speaker faulty. Took two hours and three phone calls to get clean towels and other items. Ordered soup in restaurant which took...
Well the stay was okay nothing to rave about but 5 stars to the staff Ana who salvaged an upsetting situation by quickly offering to refund the parking charges as soon as she heard my unpleasant feedback about the bathroom. A good example of how pleasant customer service can win back customers. So Ana/Anara..keep it up..your management is lucky to have you.
Great reception staff. Couldn’t be more helpful. Great breakfast every morning. Cleaning of rooms was very average. Sometimes they didn’t even replenish toilet paper. Improve cleanliness and star rating will improve. Good location

For brief (few hours )stay , it was fine.
Nice play ground for kids and wonderful restaurant.
This hotel is not far from Bayswater subway station. There is a restaurant downstairs. In the evening, the restaurant will broadcast English rugby games, attracting many people to dine. I had a meal in the restaurant, which tasted good. The special pork rib set meal on Thursday was very cost-effective. There is also a kids menu for children to order food. It is a good choice for the first stop when...
Great hot water pressure; good A/C, fridge, micro and kettle; clean linens. Very close to Tai Chi venue which was great. Helpful and courteous staff members. No noise from the tavern at night. Price was reasonable for a twin share room. Mattress uncomfortable. Unimpressed with cleanliness of room on arrival as previous occupant's underwear was still under the luggage shelf. Premier family room was spacious and clean.
Everything was perfect, we can't say anything bad about this hotel. The family stay was perfect, impeccable cleanliness as well as the service, without a doubt if we return to Perth and have room we will return.
Currently undergoing renovations and new building works so on appearance from the outside it might not look the best but the unit was clean, comfortable and has everything you need and service is great, they have a laundry and were able to store my bags for when I return. Ideal location for me with shops, cafes, restaurants and a pub within walking distance.

Friendly staff and clean amenities.
No gym in the building - however they provide access key to A gym 5mins walk away @ snap fitness.
The toilets do feel dated like from early 2000s.
Room /kitchenette was updated.
Came with a generous workdesk
room comes with basic kitchen features sufficient for making breakfast
free self service laundry which was great
room has a bathtub with jaccuzi function
mattress could be better as the motion transfer from the other party's slight movement can be felt
Good location, cozy and comfortable.
Great service. Would be nicer is parking was available on site, but back available close by
1. The toilet can not flush clearly for the human waste with many many times, I push the button. The waste was still at the bottom for overnight. Next day in the morning, I informed Reception, and then it was fixed. After I went to the toilet , it happened again without flushing my human waste.
2. The wash hand basin is too small. Whenever you brush your teeth, then your head will hit the mirror....
The location is near Perth station making it very convenient. A direct train from and to airport.
The room is dated but functional. Housekeeping needs to improve as they don't top up the amnenties and vacuum the floor everyday. No toothbrush and bedroom slippers unless requested.

Delicious breakfast with a lot of choices. Room and bed very comfortable. Hotel has a modern but homely feel.
In the heart of the CBD, quite a rowdy area when the night rolls round but rooms are quite sound proof. Included breakfast on the mezzanine was amazing and a perfect day starter. Rooms are quite small but perfect for a short trip. Great price, great hotel.
I could not be happier. I had a fantastic experience at Alex Hotel. I’ve wanted to come here for years and glad I did. Room and general aesthetic of the hotel is cute, unique. Staff are efficient and friendly, without being overbearing. Location is great. Free breakfast included. The room I booked was teeny tiny, no problem for a solo traveller. There is only one lift so I can imagine there might be...
In a very, very busy area, especially at night and weekends, but close to Perth Shopping area and malls.
Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Rooms are compact and look a bit bare with concrete ceilings, no wardrobe only a couple of hangars on pegs, frosted glass door between toilet/shower and bedroom. No shaving mirror, lighting not bright. TV and AC work well.
Breakfasts different, kinda help yourself...
The room was very nice, comfy and simple, with a neat bathroom. Had a great stay but my only complaint would be that the complimentary buffet was hardly inclusive - no hot breakfast just toast, cereal and some fruit, and if you wanted hot food you have to pay extra.
We enjoyed our stay here. Very good location, and rooms were comfortable, enjoyed the simple breakfast (would also be nice to include hot meals). Would stay here again. Just one thing to note - be careful with the room doors, they are quite heavy, so important to take care if you have small kids especially.

We stayed in the 2 bed apartment, which was spacious the interior is very basic, not great value for money.
Great location near a wonderful beach & within walking distance to Hilary’s quay
Perfectly adequate, functional and utilitarian.
No nearby convenience store for those without the use of a car
Great location, wonderful view from our ground floor room 65.
I will definitely book that room again
Very beautiful near the seaside
I booked online and when arriving we found we were on the first floor with no lift! I had my elderly Mother that was unable to get herself up the stairs. Another great stay at Pensione. The hotel and rooms are always immaculately clean and the staff were excellent as usual. Fantastic value. The best hotel in Perth!
This is not a great hotel. It's an OK hotel, but at the price, the value-for-money doesn't stack up. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean, but beyond that: 1) Room layout is strange. Rooms are small. 2) Water pressure sucks to the point where showers take twice as long to rinse off soap/shampoo. 3) Housekeeping doesn't clean cups/utensils, doesn't clean bathroom sufficiently, towels...

Hotel was pretty good, kitchen utensils were all there. Didn’t get the vibe I was hoping, was thinking there would be heaps of young travellers staying (but Covid probably impacted this).
Was turned off by the receptionist when I checked in. He was extremely rude and not welcoming at all. However, everybody else I came across were lovely!
Great location, everything you need within walking distance. Kitchens were small but well equipped, one was broken during my time. The food was good, however, the staff mixed up the orders and brought the wrong dishes to the table. Confusion reigned!
Great atmosphere, great location, good food, and good service. Drinks are a little on the pricey side, but this is no different to most other bars like this in the city. A pint of Henry's Cidar will set you back $12 as of June 2018, although it was a little smaller than I expected for a pint.
We had the best lunch here. Food was delicious, atmosphere was great and the staff were exceptional. Tara served us and she was fantastic, she truly made our day.
I attended a function in one of the private rooms (the Lord McAlpine room) at the Terrace. The room is beautifully laid out, there is plenty of quality glassware, and it is air conditioned. The service is prompt and friendly. The only downside is that their charcuterie boards are quite small for the price. That said, the main meals are reasonably priced and absolutely delicious.
