Royal Grand Hotel & SPA in Kavarna

Overall, a good experience. Food was ok, enough options to choose from. If you do not have expectations of 5star hotel and food for the price of 3-4 stars, the you will have a good time.
Room was clean, spacious (we got one at 4th floor with sea view). Cleaning every day. Spa is also decent (heated indoor pool, jacuzzi, herbal sauna, steam bath, dry sauna, salt room). Kid friendly overall.
If you want to sit at the beach outside the hotel, it’s 6 leva for a sunbed/umbrella. If not, you use the hotel beach and sunbeds. From the hotel beach you can go into the sea but it is quite deep so not small kid friendly. Which is why, most kids were in the pool :)
We consider returning there as it’s good value for the money.

A hotel exactly as described. With an ok SPA. It doesn't have free parking. But you can find parking in the area near the hotel. Food and drinks are plentiful and diverse. Clean rooms. I RECOMMEND!!!

Lovely hotel right on the beach with a stunning sea view. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable. Breakfast is varied and tasty, and the spa area is great for relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. A perfect place for a quiet and relaxing seaside holiday. I would definitely recommend it!

I absolutely loved this hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our entire visit. Everyone we encountered had a genuine smile and was eager to assist with any questions or requests we had. What really made this hotel stand out was the fantastic animation program for children. My kids were entertained from morning until evening with various activities, games, and shows. The animation team was energetic, creative, and clearly loved working with children. . The kids' program included everything from dance classes and treasure hunts to mini disco parties in the evening. Our children made new friends and didn't want to leave when it was time to go home!

The pool is nice and shallow, perfect for my girlfriend who cannot swim. The sea can be reached by walking in or jumping in. Everything is clean and well served. There are lifeguard stands on both pool and sea. The stuff is kind and polite and makes sure your stay is great.

Excellent rooms, very good food and service. The only problem is that the sea is accessible only via stairs at the location and the outside pool is small. The interior spa is awesome.

This location give mixed feelings, it depends what you are looking for. I am going to review the location also from a price pov.
Pros : Big rooms, well equiped
Decent food with enough variety
Cons : Mostly a location for old people or with limited budget. Considering this, the quality of the guests is...questionable.
One indoor and one outdoor pools, both very small comparing to the size of the hotel
Beach...there is only 20 meters of beach where you could enter the sea, the rest of the "beach" is on some kind of pontoon and it's quite rocky
Staff is not that friendly, the lifeguard was watering the tiles next to the outside pool and splashing people in the pool with dirt every day and is not helping at all, the reception lady was very condescendent when asking about shared play area, there is a dedicated space for kids to play, located in one of the hotel rooms 😳😳, which is quite small. There is no entertainment programme like all other hotels have at the seaside

We've been here before and we felt again very good. Staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are amazing, very spacious, toilets the same, huge, hot water all the time, AC in the room, big terrace with very nice view to the sea, beds are big enough and comfortable. Everything looked clean, the cleaning lady came in the 2nd day to clean the room even if we stayed only 2 nights (so it is not ture what others are saying that they are not cleaning the rooms). They have a paid parking place, but we used the free one from the main road. Luckily city responsible repaired the streets around the hotel so the roads down there are very good now.
Food was very good, a lot of things to try, diversified every day(maybe you can add more fruits). We didnt test the pool, but it looked clean. We tried the Gym, really nice, silence and enough equipments, clean also.
We didnt try the spa. The beaches are nice there.
