Diplomat Plaza Hotel & Resort

All staff I spoke to was extremely friendly, helpful and efficient! The location is wonderful, and so is the spa area and restaurant. Breakfast had an exceptional variety! I also got a massage, and the massage therapist was so nice and thoughtful. All in all, highly recommend!

Great restaurant (the winery). Food was delicious and our waitress (Maria) was amazing- very polite and professional. If you are in the area, or visiting the Zlaten Park, definitely stop by for lunch or dinner.

The hotel has nice and original rooms with different themes. Everything is very clean and well maintained. It has also SPA, but we didn’t try it, but looks good.

Lachezar from the reception is very polite and helpful person.

In general is a great place to spend time and relax after a long drive.

We recently stayed at Diplomat Plaza, and I must say, it exceeded all our expectations! The staff made is feel welcome with their warm smiles and attentive service.

A unique and almost eccentric-themed, spotlessly clean, well organised and perfectly run multifarious hotel in the middle of nowhere. The online photos don't do it any justice.

The staff's impeccable care and their eagerness to please left us with the most warm impression of this orderly and self-supporting environment, which accommodates a spa, indoor swimming pool and gym, and with an array themed rooms (named after famous cities, according to their design).

About an hour and a half's drive North of the capital, Sofia, and within a short distance from the famous Prohodna Cave (with 'eyes' looking down from its vast domed vault), the hotel has an in-house tavern with amazing twists of local and international cuisine, and a smorgasbord of choices on the breakfast buffet.

Some interesting sights within the region, especially the awe striking caves, well worth the visit if you are into beautiful nature, and also a quaint garden with its story-like house (with a restaurant perched on top custom built as if out of a Jules Vern novel) called The Stone House, situated upon the barrage of the local river.

We spent 3 days in the hotel. The reason was team event on which we were more than 170 people. First I would like to say BIG THANK to Denitsa Opreva- thanks to her everything went smooth, she support me from the beginning to plan the whole event plus she was open to fulfilled all of our requirements and wishes. There should be more people like you in this field of business and service!

The service in the Hotel was great, the food delicious, one of the most delicious beans meal I had ever eaten.
Big rooms, huge bathrooms and very clean.
The breakfast was very rich and also delicious.

Defiantly we will visit again!
