Excellent value for money. SPA with warm mineral water. Pool with somewhat low ceiling but fine if you do not mind that. Large restaurant with good food a la carte - no extravagance on the menu but all or most items seem to be available at reasonable prices. Good for a family getaway from the city.

Loved this hotel, clean, friendly, heated floors in the room, big rooms, balconies, nice lobby with bar. Great spa on site, with heated sauna, hot tub, I think there was a salt room- I did not use the services but my girlfriend did and said it was great. Restaurant on site had great dinners and awesome self serve breakfast.

We are yearly visitors. Quality service every single year. The complex is constantly expanding and developing. The environment is breathtaking. The SPA is very high level and the restaurant offers very delicious menu options for food aswell as drinks.

The hotel is primarily a place to sleep, drink and eat. The beds are very comfortable, the food was delicious. The staff is calm and responsive, they try to keep it clean. We expected more from the pool and spa services like jacuzzi and steam room. The evening lighting in the yard and the rest area is missing. There is billiards and table tennis. For table tennis, we found only one sick ball.

The place is great, there are views of the dam. The rooms are decent, the bed is comfortable. The food was delicious, the service was good. The only thing I didn't like was that you couldn't use the pool because the water was dirty and cold.

Had reduced staff on our visit which translated into slow service. A good family hotel. Bathrooms are as big as the room which is not a great feature of the room itself. A great view to the dam and forest.

The place is not bad but a bit overpriced for the level of commodities. I didn't like the food, it was cooked from someone without passion in coocking, very sterile. At such a place some traditional food could be much appreciated.

Good place to stay with decent cuisine. However, there are some loud celebrations almost every evening which makes it not the best place for families with children.

It’s not what it used to be few years ago. Prices have gone significantly up, the level of service have reduced. Food is mediocre, there are cracks on the walls, wallpapers are torn, carpets with stains.

Appartements are very nice, except for the bathrooms. Heater in the bath is rather scary. 2 aircos, in the living room and bedroom. Spa and gym are not great. Limited breakfast buffet. Cannot keep the windows open at night due to noise.

Our family stayed there for a week. We had booked an apartment with a king bed and a pullout sofa. We were a family of 10. We enjoyed all the facilities of the hotel. The rooms were good and clean, the Spa was great, the treatments we had were profesional, the food was good with a large variety and most of all the staff was very obliging and helpful always smiling and kind.

I want to thank coach Max, as for me he is the best coach I have seen there. He taught my brother and sister (she is 3 years old) to ski in one training session. It was also quite fun to ski with him and jump on ski jumps. I recommend him to everyone!!!

Staff is very nice! Good location. It seems that they put effort to renovate the hotel, so we really tried to sympathise with them. The thing I find annoying is that they promote spa, when 1/3 of it is not really usable. For the other 1/3, it seems as if they don’t want to set it up, if the hotel is not busy with guests.

This is a picture from the pool in Chateau Vaptzarov. The place also has a gym and spa. The food is also good, especially the breakfast where you have a lot of different kinds of food at your disposal. The rooms have LCD TV's with cable and also Wi-Fi. The employees are okay, but not the most kind employees you can find.

Solo traveller. I stay in a one bed apartment and was thankful for the air-conditioning as it was hot outside. Plenty of room for one person and there was a view of the mountain from the windows. I had to buy some microwave cookware as there was no specific items of that kind in the apartment but that was the only thing that let the place down.

It seems to lack maintenance and needs some renovation. The Hotel is really at the edge of the village.The walking path from the main road to the hotel at the top is not very safe especially at nighttime. So if one wishes to move around more in the village better choose one of the hotels there, which are pretty much in the same category. Not that good on the cleaning side. The apartment that we stayed is located in building "D", it is spacious enough for a family with maximum 2 children. The good thing is that it is next to the pool, and the activity park. Also they lets us stay with our dog.

The apartment was great - cozy, spacious, equipped with everything a person could need and most of all terribly clean! The view from the terrace is more than unique - majestic Pirin rises in front of you. The location is great - a quiet place near the center, 10 minutes walk. I strongly recommend !

Room was comfortable but not clean. There were some food leftovers in fridge and dust on some places. However, hotel stuff were nice and professional and made up for that. There is also a beautiful steam swimming pool inside.

Staff are friendly, the house keeping staff even washed up and made our beds while we were out. The paid WiFi service for rooms though is bad as we struggled to connect to it. The hotel has a storage room for ski and snowboards right near the entrance.
