Nice Hotel in a good position. Very friendly staff. Rooms are new and clean.

The Best place to stay in Shumen. Rooms are very clean and has own fridge. I heard no noises over the night. Air condition was working well. Very good sleep. Location is just few minutes walk to centre and few hundred meters away from stairs to Shumen Monument. Hotel has own Restaurant called Green Garden. Food I Very good and tasty. Very clean for this price range! Everyone at the reception and in the restaurant in the lobby were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very rich and prepared on the spot (choose one of 4 options for breakfast). Panorama restaurant on 7th floor was very good with excellent menu. Only minus is that it's open from 6pm. Overall very nice experience!

A lovely stay here, good prices, nice accommodations, the room was very modern clean and had everything you need ! The meal we had at night was absolutely fabulous!!! Hotel Madara in Shumen Bulgaria. It used to be a good hotel with bars and disco 40 years ago. Not anymore I guess. Just a hotel now.

Everything was great about this place!!! Would definitely come back to Shumen just to stay another night at the hotel! The feeling is like being a royal family, such a luxury. Moreover, the staff were so kind and friendly, rooms - very clean and bright! We had a balcony with an amazing view of the city and the center of Shumen!

It is a clean hotel with friendly staff where you can stay safely and with your family. It is one of the best hotels you can find in Shumen. The rooms were clean and the staff helped in everything. Very nice hotel. Rooms are clean. Bed is comfortable. Staff is very helpful and kind. Parking is not a problem. Lactation is great. I will never look for another hotel as long as they have a free room.

Beautiful furniture everywhere; even in the corridors. Lovely mirrors. Great staff. (I lost my car keys and the staff were very helpful, taking care if my baggage till I found them and ordering me a taxi.)

Clean and comfortable. The receptionist was very accommodating when we came later than check in. The room was quiet and had air conditioning.

It is our favourite place to sleep over in our way to Greece. Clean room, comfort beds. You can pay with card and fair price. Our next trip to Turkey and we will again stay at Otantik!!! :) P.s. this is the only place where we could pay with card in the town

Returned after eight years the place still looks as good as when we left it. The place has an oriental Boho admosphere and the Appartments are spacious and staff friendly and their English is good. Price quality is a plus plus even when due to the pandemic the pool is closed.

I spend much time in this hotel in the last 5-7 years, really liked the rooms, the atmosphere and the kitchen.

Generally, the hotel is located near the sea (200 metres - according to my Amazfit). Rooms are cleaned every day, there are not problems with wifi or TV. The bathroom is traditional Bulgarian - WC + washbasin + shower in one room. It is maybe strange - but traditional :-)! The restaurant offers good meals for average prices. Hotel is a small quaint inn. There is no elevator and the flight of stairs is fairly steep. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were cozy and tastefully decorated. There is no breakfast option offered at the hotel. Wi-Fi was very slow when it worked which was about a quarter of the time. Very near lots of shopping and restaurants. Parking is along the street and often we had to park several blocks away

This is a hidden gem. Very centrally located, with a place to park, nice restaurants and bars close by. Room was spacious and so clean and air conditioned which was a plus in the hot weather. When it comes to the price - you get so much more compared to what you pay. Definitely will stay again. Much recommended.

Location amd free parking are the best parts. But don't wait for the comfortable bed or various breakfast. Staff don't know English, they talk on Bulgarian and Russian; but they are friendly. Rooms ok

You should cut another star, because you can't find a parking space at this hotel! One solution would be to park in Bucharest, at the North Station, at the mayor's office, and sleep in Sumen at the Mehdjarel hotel ...

A beatiful old bulgarian style hotel in Shumen city. The restaurant is perfect for family and for business parties.

Nice hotel for 1 or 2 nights stay. Comfy clean rooms, nearby park and frer parking available. The food at the restaurant is good but they don't have everything on the menu. Breakfast is the same everyday and they have nothing homemade for breakfast. Pillows are not comfortable.

Cheap and comfortable, Bulgarian ospitality, 11 pages menu also in English, don't look the hotel pic! In spring and now in summer is in the middle of flower and green. Big park around, musib all night! For adults and childrens!

We have stayed here for 1 week in February 2017 and I cannot praise this Hotel enough. It is a small hotel , but the staff are great and the rooms are very clean. we are going back in April and staying here again. It is very handy for the city centre and easy to find.

I've been there for one day and it was very good. The atmosphere is how should I say this, a little bit kitsch (Italian, Chinese, and maybe more styles) downstairs entrance and diningroom. But the room (22) was huge, clean, good shower, good bed and a good continental breakfast. It's a little bit outside the center but for sure recommendable. Located in a quiet area. The bed was awful, the room is very basic. The only good thing is the staff, which was helpful and friendly. The most important for one hotel is the bed and to be quiet, here was only quiet.

An intimate, unpretentious restaurant with a history - it fed and sheltered many guests from the National Theater. This is evidenced by many photos with the hearty owner, who has as a waitress the sweetest, charming, attentive wife! It's amazing! 😍😘
