Best Western Plus Village Park Inn

I had a pleasant stay at the Best Western Hotel. The rooms are impressively quiet, allowing for a restful experience. I particularly appreciated the larger-than-usual fridge and microwave, which made it convenient to store food while sharing the space with a roommate.

The complimentary breakfast is quite elaborate, with a rotating selection each day that includes different types of potatoes, meats (bacon and two kinds of sausage), and a variety of sweets like pancakes, waffles, and French toast.

For relaxation, the hotel features a small Jacuzzi for four and a pool, perfect for unwinding after a long day. However, the operating hours from 9 AM to 9 PM made it difficult for me to take advantage of these amenities due to my work schedule.

Each room has access to a shared balcony, but unfortunately, there’s no furniture provided, and smoking is not allowed, which made it less inviting. Overall, it’s a nice hotel with great features, but a few adjustments could enhance the experience and make it amazing.

We had a very comfortable stay here in this lovely looking suite.
A lamp was not working and the keurig was a bit fussy but otherwise things were great.
Pool was nice and clean, room service order was tasty, jacuzzi worked well and the shower was nice too.
The beds were soft and the pillows were good quality. We had a nice visit.
Don’t make the same mistake we did and show up late to the breakfast buffet or the best stuff will already be gone of course!

I stayed at the Best Western Plus Village Park Inn on a busy fall weekend and was very happy with my experience. The staff was very kind and helpful, the location is great, and the hotel is in great shape. The parking was very convenient and breakfast was good!

The two complaints I have are that the blackout curtains don’t fully close so we had a light from the parking shining right into the room all night and that we had to move rooms because of some food scraps on the floor in our first from. I stayed in a pet friendly room so that does happen sometimes and the staff handled the situation exceptionally well - moving us within minutes and offering a discount for the inconvenience.

Only thing to note for pet owners - you have to sign a waiver for pets and one of the conditions is no pets on beds or furniture but there are pet beds available if needed

I took a star off because it wasn't mentioned anywhere in their advertising that the hot tub is closed. Supposedly to support Calgary water restrictions, yet tge pool is open.
Otherwise it is a very nice place with a novel atrium arrangement.
Rooms were well appointed and quiet, considering the potentially noisy area.
Included breakfast was very generous and in a nice dining area.
Front desk staff exceeded expectations. Very lovely young woman who even called our room to make sure everything was OK.
Underground parking was easy to access.

My recent stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the front desk staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. The woman who assisted me went above and beyond to ensure my check-in process was smooth and pleasant.

Our stay was smooth and the staff were friendly and accomodating. Eventhough we didn't get complimentary slippers when we arrived they sent it right away when we requested it. It is pet friendly which is great for travelers who are carrying their pets. They have a green turf at the back where your pets can do their thing. Overall, a great hotel for us.

Had a great experience at this hotel while my 2 days stay in Calgary. Breakfast buffet is amazing with lots of different options. Front desk employees are good and professionals. Locked myself out twice and staff was really helpful both times. Rooms are good and comfy. Location of this hotel is really close to downtown which was the best part. Rates are good and worth it. They have locked basement parking too which was really good as I didn’t have to worry about my vehicle. Overall I had good experience with this hotel and will come stay there when I am in Calgary.

If you are looking for the best customer services, comfortable stay, excellent breakfast near public transport, your hunt ends here. I am so glad that I had booked 5 nights to stay here. We have had a pleasant stay here. Every single staff member has been wonderful. The rooms are very clean and nice. I take away a star because the hotel itself is very noisy. Because all the rooms are open to the middle, you can hear everything, and the sounds echo. The restaurant is extremely noisy, and dishes can be heard banging (from third floor!) until very late into the night. I had a really tough time falling asleep. I will absolutely stay again, I will just be bringing earplugs with me.
