Hotel Blackfoot

During our arrival at the reception desk, we were not greeted warmly or offered any assistance. The staff member simply asked if we were there to check in without providing any further information or assistance. We noticed that there were no slippers provided in our room, and when we inquired about them, we were informed that they were not available for our room type. The room itself was not thoroughly cleaned, with dust on various surfaces and the bed sheets. Additionally, there was a broken lamp in the room, and water from the shower leaked into the main room area.

The breakfast provided was quite basic and limited in options. However, I would like to express my appreciation for Jil, who demonstrated exceptional helpfulness and friendliness during our stay. Unfortunately, there was an oversight at the front desk where we were not provided with a breakfast coupon initially. When we inquired about it, the staff member questioned whether breakfast was included in our room rate. After checking, they did not offer any apology for the inconvenience caused.

Upon checking out, the staff member simply requested the room keys and informed us that our statement would be emailed to us. There was no friendly exchange or even a simple farewell. This type of behavior from the front desk staff was quite disappointing and unprofessional, as it lacked basic courtesy and respect.

Considering the overall quality of our stay, the service provided by the staff, the price we paid, and the location of the hotel, I would not recommend this establishment to others. There are numerous other hotels that offer better value, service, and amenities at similar or even lower price points.

The parking was fantastic, lots of parking and easy access to parking spots. Lobby was beautiful and the staff at the desk were wonderful, very nice and helpful.
As for the rooms, the bathrooms were definitely renovated and very nice. The Bed was comfortable. However the carpets are really outdated (not a big deal). But my room, along with friends of mine that stayed in the hotel and mentioned it as well, the rooms are very loud. The fridge made noise 24/7, the furnaces was very old and loud. And I’m fairly confident my room was next to the laundry room so hearing what sounds like a dryer going while I’m trying to sleep was difficult.
Come checkout day, checkout was not until noon and the roads were terrible the night before so I wanted to wait until the sun was up before I left. However, room service decided to come and knock on my door at 8:30-9am (I did not have my do not disturb sign on the door, so that’s partially my bad) but then when I said “I’m still in here” they decided so say “well when are you leaving”
I personally found that very disrespectful.
Also my friend that was staying in another room had that happen to her at 8am the morning before!!
For the price this hotel cost, I would not stay here again. There were good points and bad, but for the price it was not worth it.
