One time, we caught a housekeeper when she knocked on our door. We asked her to vacuum, change the bed linen, and clean the room in general, which she did very well. While she was cleaning, she tried to speak to us in English, which was very sweet, but most of the time she communicated with my friend in Ukrainian. This housekeeper was Darya, and we were very satisfied with her work.
We also had some other questions for housekeeping, but unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of one of the housekeepers. She helped us and provided the necessary answers, as the day managers didn’t always give us accurate answers to our questions, and I had to turn to other staff members, mainly housekeeping. One of the women, unfortunately, I don’t remember her name, gave us more detailed information. We also spoke with other guests of the hotel, and some of them were also dissatisfied with the work of the managers. This is something to consider.
Overall, for the excellent room service and housekeeping staff, I’m adding another star to the rating. We will return if we are in Calgary again.
Super cheap but I regret it.
I stayed in better hotels that offer you same price.
Super 8 in calgary close to airport is too old.
The worst is the washroom. Even is for a night. You don't want to be calling front desk to please fix the toilet because flushing is not working.
I asked for towels never arrived!
Also very IMPORTANT if you give cash for damage deposit. They will still charge your credit card.. that we all know take 5 bussiness day to go back to you.
I gave cash and also they took it from my card after I told them please make sure you don't!
