Hotels in Calgary

This is a great hidden gem of a hotel! My husband stays in Calgary frequently for work and I'm so glad we found Centro Motel. Its rates are super affordable and the rooms are actually very nice, much nicer than we expected based off other hotels with similar price points. Bed and pillows very comfy, all the amenities you could need in the room, and the front desk staff are great to deal with.

I loved staying in this motel. It was my first experience booking and living in such type of accommodation, and the experience was amazing. Internet connection was a little slow, but the staff said they're working on solving the issue. If you don't want to spend a lot of money, you should definitely visit Centro Motel.

I love this little motel !! It is super cute, cozy and I love the outside private entrances! The two front desk gentlemen were kind, and happy , very easy to deal with! Beds are comfy, room is clean! Robes are a nice touch as well! I will absolutely be back In the future! Thank you for the wonderful stay! This was a last minute stay, and they were very accommodating

Always a great place to stay! It is perfectly clean. The customer service is absolutely amazing, I forget my dogs water bowl ALL the time, and it is in my room clean and waiting for them. They have doggy blankets even!! My dogs absolutely love staying here as much as I do! What a jem of a motel! It is actually the best place in Calgary!

Floors on main floor were cold, bring slippers, it's an older building that was renovated. Pet blanket, but unfortunately no carpet so hard for my small dog to jump off the bed. The hostel location is prime. It is in the Calgary downtown area. Great location. You can walk several minutes to other places in downtown. The hostel is very clean, offering free breakfast, and offering free laundry if you live more than three days. I stayed here for a Saturday night in an 8 bed bunk room. Mattress was so comfy and quite new. Room was quiet and secure. No plug next to my bed but there's enough around the room. No Aircon and temperature was okay with the window open, can't imagine it would be nice in summer and the common areas were all very warm, would benefit from some airflow. Bathrooms were pretty good, all clean and tidy....

Outrageously pretentious. Was really underwhelmed when the woman running the desk suggested that my license -- to prove that I'm not a resident of AB -- was a fake. She then went on to tell me that the policy of only allowing travelers was because "we want this place to have a really cool traveller and backpacking culture. Like, you know, me: I'm from Germany." It was hard to want to stay thereafter...

Very nice, quiet dose not feel like a B&B, kind of feels like you are staying at your relatives for the weekend. Very inviting. Cute pets and friendly as well. ...watch out for that bathroom door....it'll get yah. Would recommend and if need be go again. This review is as of April 25th 2016

Clean room, facilities and common area. It's a hostel at its best. I slept in a dormitory. Bed was comfy and room the locket was good. Breakfast is very good. Gets you ready for the day. It's near the river walk which has good few restaurants.

A wonderful hostel located in the East Village of Calgary, very central, few minutes walk to Calgary public library, Bell Music Studio, the Core Mall, and China Town. Awesome place if you are looking for a reasonable place to spend the night right at downtown. Rooms are not fancy but super clean and comfortable for a hostel. This is the first time I am staying in a hostel . I was skeptical but it was a pleasant surprise . The staff were very helpful and even helped me in planning my trip to look in Calgary. The rooms were clean and good . It was quiet at night. The rooms were very clean.. they have a locker to store our things . And it is a great location in the city. Definitely will try one more time

Stayed here when I first moved to Calgary. Staff were very friendly, bed was comfy. Everything you need, laundry, central location with grocery store 2 minutes away, breakfast, everything. The bus to Banff stops right outside which works really well. Breakfast was great but I wish it started a little earlier, like 7:00 am.
