Lovely hotel, rooms are big and spacious.
Great experience here and good staff.
Walkable distance.
Various choices of breakfast.
It's a cheap and clean hotel in downtown Calgary.
The room was clean and well-heated, so it was warm. The location was also in the center of downtown, so it was easy to go anywhere.
In particular, they provided a free breakfast, and it was really delicious!
I'll stay here next time I come to Calgary ㅎㅎ
Thank you for kindly upgrading our room. There are many delicious restaurants in the area, and it is very convenient for sightseeing. The bedding was also very comfortable.
Very nice, and we were upgraded to a suite. There is a beautiful park near the hotel, and the Calgary Library is in the park. Breakfast is also good. Parking is behind the hotel, because the entrance is a one-way street, the hotel concierge will park for you 🅿️. Before leaving, tell them 20 minutes in advance, they will drive the car over, or you can drive directly to the backyard.
Great location! We see the Calgary Tower right outside our room window. Basic breakfast. Customer Service is okay. Elevator is slow.

Great stay at Best Western Plus Suites Downtown! The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and had plenty of options. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay.
The location is good for this hotel. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The hotel is decent. You can check it out.
Very close to Safeway, the largest supermarket in downtown.
Nice place. Good location, in the city centre. Lots of touristic spots nearby. The bus station is next to it - useful for going to the airport or other locations.
They were renovating so very noisy. The heater in our room was very noisy, disturbed our sleep. Most staff were good.
the suit comes with kitchen, which is quite handy. Just one minute walk from CBE, Safeway and save on food.

Close to the highway when entering Calgary, good rest stop after a long day of travel. Pet-friendly rooms, and me and my cat got a complimentary room upgrade! they have cute goody bags for your pets too. 24/7 dennys attached which was nice. Staff is very friendly, room seemed a little out-dated, but nothing wrong with it, comfy!
The staff is attentive, rooms are clean and well-stocked, and the location is great. The lobby is relaxing, and the hotel is pet-friendly, even for larger dogs. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations for a modern look in 2025. The staff, especially front desk administrator Melissa, are very kind and helpful with bookings and local information.
Top notch service and accommodations! Melissa was working the front desk when we made a last minute booking with Expedia and the booking we made was actually sold out. Melissa worked with to fit us into another room! We drove all the way from Saskatchewan and stopped at a hotel that left a sour taste in our mouth before coming here and Melissa changed our moods instantly with her welcoming and friendly...
First of all, I think this place understands itself very well and provides all amenities wonderfully. I think that the price just slowly gets to a point where you must judge the convenience and cost of it versus other areas. The access to the highway is good and clearly they do good business in the summer but, man, I wish they were a bit cheaper in those months as it's continued to climb. Great location...
Stayed in a family suite with primary bedroom with a king bed and then bunk beds for the kiddos. It was clean and comfortable and had a small but great for kids pool. The hot tub was the deepest I've ever been in and was very toasty. Only complaint is that the bed was but the most comfortable I've slept on compared to most other hotels. Conveniently connected to the Denny's by indoor corridor where...
I had a comfortable stay. However, it's a bit noisy in the early morning because it's on the side of the road... Parking was easy and it was good in many ways.

A great hotel with a really bad mattress both my wife and I could barely walk after three nights on a completely packed out mattress.
Otherwise a excellent property with great staff.
The room is large, with a microwave and refrigerator, which is very convenient. There is a sofa bed in the living room. There is a simple breakfast, including milk, bread, fruit, waffles and eggs, which is quite convenient. It is not far from the airport, but there is no noise from planes taking off and landing.
Very satisfied, late flight to stay near the airport
Great visit. Great staff, clean and modern facilities. Food and service was excellent.
It's ok, but the name is misleading.
The rooms were nice and clean. Our only concern were the staff. Completely unhelpful. We called four times and waited for the airport shuttle for 45 minutes in the cold. Not sure if the regular shuttle driver was sick or on vacation, but definitely not a good experience when the drive to the hotel should only take 10 minutes.

Disappointed that the pool was undergoing maintenance and was unavailable during our stay. The breakfast 'self serve & prepare' could have been better explained.
Location was good for our needs.
The room is clean and spacious, king bed and sofa bed is very comfy, kitchen is very nice and we are totally satisfied with the hotel service. Highly recommend booking this room for a family. (Picture of sofa bed)
An old hotel with a good location and service attitude. Free parking is available in the underground parking lot. It is very close to the Banff Trail light rail station and has convenient transportation.
The room is clean and tidy. The facilities are a bit old, but well maintained. There are refrigerators and microwaves. There are many sockets in the room, which is very user-friendly.

The hotel is clean and quiet, close to Highway 1, convenient to Banff National Park. The breakfast is delicious
The hotel has good facilities and good value for money. The parking lot is in the underground garage and is very safe. However, the breakfast is not very tasty. It is no problem to eat enough. The room is relatively clean and the bedding is OK. But I don't know why, there is only a sheet on the top of the quilt. Do you just change the sheet every time? Do you sleep directly inside the quilt? Anyway...
Satisfied with the service from this hotel they change and re-arrange the room every day even without requesting it. Breakfast was good as well and you will never see an empty display from the buffet room. Highly recommended this place.

Reasonably priced hotel on the University’s campus. Includes a full breakfast buffet (self-reserve at the student cafeteria — bags need to be checked in at the entrance). Shop downstairs was very overpriced (targeting hotel guests rather than university folks).
The room is comfortable and has a microwave and fridge. Heating/air-con system works well and kept my room cool.
It offers wonderful rooms and place of stay in the University. We just took a chance to book a room here and were surprised by its location and ease to navigate around university. It is a good choice for people joining University as it is the closest and best place to stay. Rooms are excellent and very clean, bust stop is nearby and all the places of shopping are walking distance (
The room was very clean and well kept, as was the building in general. The breakfast area was under renovation at the time, so I can't comment on that. The boxed breakfast they provided was nutritious and had a good variety of foods.
The room I was in was about the size of a dorm room with a double or queen size bed and a bathroom added, so it felt quite close in there. Parking was a distance away...
Really nice place tidy and clean. Friendly stuff . Cheap price. High recommend!
Everything was good except there was a lack of toiletries like soap and the like. We were also only given one towel even though we hooked for two people. However, the room was very private and we were able to enjoy our stay anyway.
Great customer service. I stayed for 4 nights and I really enjoyed my stay. Very comfortable, clean, and spacious rooms. Plenty of space if you plan to stay for a longer time. Work desk, fridge, microwave and TV included. Free Wi-Fi.
Close to bus/train routes.

Very convenient locations with shopping, restaurants and other conveniences nearby.
Convenient location right off Deerfoot. Easy shopping all around. ikea. Costco. Walmart. Good restaurants
Hotel was clean and quiet. Pool was great and we had it to ourselves. Staff were courteous and quick to fix the one small issue we had with our room. They don't allow deliveries up to the rooms so that is something to plan for, but overall our stay was great.
Great hotel when i stay in Calgary. Close to where i need to visit and overall very convenient.
It was great for our girls day shopping trip. The pool was definitely on the small side, and we had to ask for our room to be wiped down as the counters in the kitchen were still full of crumbs. But great location, easy to get to, lots of shopping and dining options. And the staff were great!
The location is amazing, easy on and off Deerfoot. Walking to stores. Staff was great.
My disappointment is that I cannot get just coffee for the room so that I can make coffee, watch the news, then get ready and go out. Your coffee has dark chocolate in it. My family seems to have an intolerance to chocolate. If it was a Keurig machine I could easily bring my own or buy from Walmart next door...

This place isn't centrally located, however, it is next to a plaza with good restaurants! Service was good too. Clean.
Great location. The free airport shuttle both directions was nice.
The swimming pool has a slide and the children like it very much. We arrived late and the management specially arranged for the children to play for a while. It was very nice. The breakfast variety was not very large but it was ok. The facilities and hygiene were good. Recommended
The room has an old appearance, carpet and furniture, but in general the quality-price ratio is good, it is a property to spend the night, there are no luxuries.
Quick and easy checkin and checkout process. We were staying on a non-smoking floor, and we unfortunately had the worst smells of ********* flooding into our room. We called down to front desk, who were going to look into it. Nothing done about it. Advised front desk at checkout of the situation and they didn’t seem to care.
Other than that. Was a good location for us too.
The overall evaluation is OK, but the facilities are a bit old and the air conditioner is a bit loud. I don't know what to say to make up the word count, so I'll just say a few words, don't pay too much attention.

Stayed for a night at this hotel during our road trip. It was awesome. The check-in was quick and easy, we got upgraded to a suite which was awesome. The hotel was quiet full but was quiet and peaceful. The rooms were clean with all amenities. The breakfast was good too. Definitely coming back during our next visit to Calgary.
Good service and nice room for me and friends!
It's a good location very very quiet in this area. Rooms are clean fitness room is rather small and lacking.
One of the other downsides there are not a lot of food options close by. Overall I'll be staying here again.
The breakfast was amazing with different choices. We stayed in the room with the jetted hot tub it was great. Bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also had a coffee and tea bar at all times with some baked cookies which was great and I never saw that at any other hotels.

I had room 5529. Service is great, Albert and Anna were very friendly and helpful when needed. Everything is clean. Breakfast was included. Excellent option near the airport. The rooms are large, and the entire facility is kept clean. An added bonus is the attached courtyard, which has a full service restaurant and decent bar.
We had a wonderful stay! The rooms are clean and spacious, the fitness area is huge, the pool and sauna were great, and the free breakfast was one of the vest I have ever had at a hotel. I would also like to mention an employee named Albert - he truly went above and beyond helping me in the breakfast area when I destroyed my waffle. We loved outr stay and we will be back. It will also be at the top...
We stayed for a month with two kids and a dog.
PROS:
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and sheets were clean. I really enjoyed the free breakfast every single day. There was a good variety of food. We were in Calgary for a medical appointment and were very appreciative of the front desk clerk allowing us to check in early so we could get freshened up after a very long travel day & night. She even upgraded us to a larger room. We have stayed at this hotel several times and it is now our go-to hotel when in Calgary due to its convenient location, cleanliness, and comfortable rooms.
We booked this hotel as my daughter had a sporting event at the MNP Center. We came on a Thursday and are staying three nights. It’s a nice hotel that is actually pretty quiet despite being on a main road (although our room was on the backside of the hotel). Staff were great! Room was also spacious and even had a small kitchenette area.
The reason for the low rating is that they only have one small elevator for the entire hotel. It's slow throughout the entire day, but the main issue is around checkout. Average value for money, commensurate with the price paid. The room has many patches, the bedding is very worn, and there are no hangers for clothes, only a dresser. The breakfast is adequate.
Service is good. Breakfast options are good. Rooms have balconies which is another positive thing.
the staffs are accomodating, politely handles our concerns. weve been staying here several times, like our second home away from home
We had initially booked 2 nights here but we ended up extending to a 3rd night.
