St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino

Our starting point was St. Eugene's Casino and Resort daily for any excursions. We drove to Balfour to grab the ferry. It was another 15 minutes of driving once we docked.

This was by far the best hot springs I have ever been to.... hands down!!! I stayed in the caves for an uninterrupted 3 hours. It was 3 hours of total bliss💫✨️❤️

Savannah & the team at St. Eugene made our wedding dreams come true. From initially considering the venue we were provided extensive detail and what we felt to be, by a long shot, the most bang for our buck. Living in central Alberta where venues are charging tens of thousands of dollars just for spaces that have been built within the year, we took our search west and instantly were drawn to St. Eugene. As golfers we figured it would be fun to have a location that our guests could make a trip out of our wedding weekend, and here we were able to have 32 of our 180 invited guests share an afternoon of golf the day before our wedding. To get the ball going, we were hosted for a weekend to tour the venue from a wedding point of view, as well as get a taste of menu options. Savannah was such a help with all of our questions leading up to the big day- she is THE girl for this job. She was accessible all weekend, a seasoned vet when it came to our rehearsal and running all over the resort making our day go smoothly. Along with Chef Clayton's culinary team they made the edible side of things shine accommodating our request for hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, phenomenal meal choices for dinner, followed by traditional crème brûlée and soft pretzels for our late lunch, even adding our French lavender to cocktails. Not once were we told "no". Further to our amazing day, the venue handled the entirety of tear-down for us, all we had to do was pack up our decor that they had neatly organized for us after our night ended. There is SO much value to everything that was put into our wedding weekend - including not having to get up at 7am to deal with an aftermath! Also worth mentioning, the hotel itself had ample space provided for the men to get ready (Tobacco Room) and my bridal party had a beautiful morning of cocktails and snacks while getting ready in the Chief Isadore room as well. It was fun watching everyone below getting ready for our ceremony outside. I cannot rave enough about our experience with the St. Eugene wedding team, we also cannot wait to be back and have heard the same from many of our guests as well!

Great stay.. room was nice and spacious also had a patio which was a nice surprise. The pool heater was down, and the pool was cold. Beds are not the most comfortable but a good stay overall. Nice area close to Cranbrook and Kimberly. 8/10

Booked a room and a round on our way home from Montana. We were late for our tee time due to border crossing and traffic. The staff allowed us to still golf and were more than accommodating. Course is beautiful, staff are great.

Stayed in the hotel, where the rooms were clean and comfortable, air conditioner worked great.
Eat at the casino and the food and service were great.

Love going to this hotel. The golf course is spectacular and offers a mix between challenging tough tees and wide open fairways. Long hitters are rewarded on this course. Hotel room is starting to look a little tired but more than perfect to pass out in. Restaurant is amazing highly recommend the bison dip with bannock as a starter. My lamb was over cooked and they were amazing about it. I can't say enough about this place, love it.

We had an excellent time at St Eugene last week, staying in the Chief Isadore Suite. The accommodation, golf course, casino, pro shop, restaurants, pathways, and washrooms all were immaculate. The staff were friendly and helpful everywhere.
The highlight of the vacation turned out to be the Master Bartender in the Casino by the name of Alan Valdez. His talents and work ethic are recognizable right away. He could pursue a function at a high end 5 star restaurant since he can supply a pleasurable dining and drinking experience to the most particular of customers. Some of the drinks are completely unique to St Eugene with different combinations of rums, fruit juices, sodas, limes, and a collection of "other stuff", very tasty. We enjoyed Alan so much I will call ahead next time making sure he is on shift before we book, it was that much fun! Thanks Alan... :)
The menus throughout the complex are simple with few choices, but high quality and fresh, no complaints.

Went down to have a casino in the rockies adventure. Great hikes in the area. The service was all very good. Lots of history in the hotel so it was nice to see it was converted into something very positive. All the restaurants were very good and surprisingly well priced for gourmet food. We had a great time at the casino too. Would recommend!
