This is no longer a Howard Johnson by Wyndham. It is no longer associated with Wyndham and is called Niagara Inn. If you had a reservation at Hojo, they will honor it if you’ve printed it out.
I had read all the bad reviews and was a little nervous but the place is fine. So yes it is old know that going in. I was told a total renovation is coming. The pool is big but weird. It gets deep real quick so there is only a few feet the kids or even adults can stand up in. Bring floaties. The sauna didn't work and I was told they weren't fixing it. The breakfast is limited but the website...
Closest to the falls, great price, very "low budget" Biggest needs: Linens on bed were very poor. Sheet with a spongy "lay across the door of the bed" thing. No comforter. Elevator door opens while it is still 6 inches from it's stop. Makes me nervous. No proteins in free breakfast. Not even peanut butter. No egg product. Carbs, sugar, "juice" from a machine, tea and coffee. Apples are good. Pluses...
First of all you have to accept that this place is a vintage 1964 stay and still looks that way. We called it HoJo's back in the day! There are nicer hotels in the area, but I liked my stay here, the wife didn't mind because the room was clean, but would still rather stay in a newer upgraded hotel. Great location from the falls, breakfast was not very good, but for the price I can skip the breakfast...
Stayed on the first floor. Rooms were clean enough but the maids could do better. There was some mold in the shower and cobwebs on the ceiling in the breakfast room. The interiors cpuld use a more modern makeover. It was very close to the falls however. Approximately 5 minutes. The pool was clean and not very busy when we were there. The arcade was lackluster. The stay cost $450 for two nights. The...
Staff: highly attentive (they look like they came out of a Phish concert). // Rooms: spacious and quite modern. Good option if you're roadtripping on a budget

Great hotel rooms, very clean all, very comfortable beds and pillows, updated bathrooms with hot water. Every morning the hotel serves an Amazing breakfast included!! Location is awesome too as you can walk to the Niagara Falls and see them from your room. Parking is free/included too. Staff is great, the last time I came I asked for an extra blanket and they handed it to me in no time. To me this...
We had a great time staying at quality hotel, it was really clean and staff was helpful and polite.Amazing price and location! We got a upgrade to a bigger room with a view of waterfalls free of charge because they weren’t full and wanted to be nice. Also we loved the pool, jacuzzi and great continental breakfast that was included. Enjoyed our time there more than in Hilton or Marriott while visiting...
Great room, friendly staff. Went for a holiday weekend with my husband. Stayed in a room with the view of the falls. The room had hard wood floors, which I have never seen in a hotel before, and a fire place(even if it was a fake fire place it was a nice touch). This hotel is in a great location. Within walking distance to the falls. If we go back to the falls I would stay at this hotel again in a...
Not a bad little hotel. Staff is vary nice and accommodating. The building itself is a little rundown. We had a room in the tower 603. I was worried that the view wouldn’t be that good. But I’m more then pleased with it. I can hear the falls and see if the American fall and Luna island. everything is within walking distance. The breakfast is from 8 AM to 11 AM. and it’s not bad.
Great pool. Across the street from casino.
I was on a solo motorcycle trip around Ontario. I selected this location for price and proximity to dining. I was in room 702, which is arguably the best room in the hotel. It looks east toward American Falls. The rooms have been updated. My room had hardwood floors some new decor and an updated bathroom. The room was very nice. There's plenty of parking, and you can get a motorcycle into the lower...

The hotel is located along the road, a little far from the center, there are no shops nearby, shops are located 20-25 minutes walk away, the department has a continental breakfast! There are no minuses, the main thing is that the department is clean, and there are no unpleasant smells!
The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes' drive from the Great Falls. Parking is free, and breakfast is free, but it's a simple American meal. You can take the meal to your room, which is good. There is no bottled water in the room, so you need to ask for it at the front desk.
Loved this hotel especially the hotel staff (especially a very kind lady who helped with my baby’s milk at 11 pm in night) are super friendly and accommodative. The hotel is very clean and the rooms were spacious. Loved our stay.
The room is sealed and the air circulation is by air conditioning. The facilities are old and the air conditioning is very noisy. It is so noisy that you can't sleep when it is turned on, and it feels stuffy when it is turned off. The floor does not feel very clean.
Service na d location are by far the best, the breakfast is crowded and why not as it offers a rich blend of coffee cream cheese bagels and yogurt
In the downtown area, the room is small, but the surrounding environment is good and there are many places to eat

The price is very good. Whether you go to the revolving restaurant or take a boat to the waterfall, you can walk there. There are also various places to eat and cafes along the way.
Parking is convenient but charged. Breakfast is simple but filling. The room is large and quiet. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the waterfall. We stayed two nights in a row, highly recommended!
Nice location. Older , dated , but that isn’t a problem. The place needs a very thorough cleaning. Everything. Tv channels very limited. Plus side good water pressure in the shower
was there for labor day weekend people friendly stay there every year never really had a problem will stay again next year
Overall, it was okay, but there seemed to be some issues with cleanliness. There were bugs. However, most of the staff were friendly. They were especially helpful in allowing early check-in.
The location is really good, like it’s only 10 minutes walk from the Niagara Falls, the staff is friendly and nice.overall everything is good except one things: only the mirror in the toilet have light, so it’s so dark and just make u dun wana shower >.<

I had a great experience at the hotel. Amazing Sarah was very friendly and helpful. People like her makes me wanna come back here again and again. The rooms were amazing and they were clean and comfortable. The hotel is located at à walking distance to the Niagara state park and the rainbow bridge. Makes everything super convenient. Thank you so much Sarah 💓❤️
We always stay in a Hampton Inn when we travel. This location is clean, fairly up to date. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, the kitchen staff not so much. However, the walking distance to Niagara Falls is a huge plus. **I do not recommend walking after dark. ** If you visit during the off season, there are many attractions and restaurants in the area that are closed.
This hotel is more like a Comfort Inn than a Hampton Inn. Very expensive, small rooms, not particularly clean, all for the low, low, price of $350/night. It would be fine if it wasn't so ridiculously overpriced. Their breakfast is very good though but when you spend major bucks on a room, I expect more than just a good breakfast. BTW, if you do book a room here, the thermostat on the wall controls...
Clean hotel and very friendly staff. Location is solid, but not the closest. Roughly a one mile walk to cave of the winds and 7/10ths to maid of the mist. Biggest negative or positive, depending on your perspective, this is a pet friendly hotel. Those with allergies might need to reconsider. Lots of pets on-site during our recent stay. Overall, had a good stay.
Staff is very courteous and helpful. We had taken a group of 65 children and they helped us a lot to make it smooth for the children to check in and check out
Clean, welcoming, and reasonably priced. Front desk staff are always pleasant. Free breakfast in the morning has plenty of options to choose from and housekeeping is great, thanks to Bianca!

All good but you should increase stay time according to price thanks
Nice, no frills place with quite spacious rooms and all the basics for a comfortable, nothing fancy kind of stay. One of the best price per night for the amenities offered in this crazy touristy, cash-grab, artificially inflated environment.... Location is a bit reserved yet in relative walk in distance from the main attractions
I had such a pleasant time chatting with the front-desk agent. She did an amazing job finding me a last-minute room, and the cost was very reasonable -- especially considering it was a Saturday afternoon. She really took her time to explain how everything worked. Fortunately, there was no one else checking in at the time, and I have a feeling my review could have been very different had the customer...

It was very Clean. and very Comfortable The location. was perfect.
Very solid breakfast experience. 4 of 5 stars for eggs, bacon, pancakes (cake batter-y flavor, yum), and French toast, all prepared just like a home cooked meal. Met with a smile and sat quickly on a Tuesday morning. Would return and recommend to others.
We only visited the restaurant. The chicken wings were delish. I loved the honey garlic flavour. I'd advise against the rice side because it was a really tiny portion. On the other hand, the mashed potatoes side was satisfying.
My family and I have frequented this restaurant for 10+ years and we know exactly what we are coming for when we do! This is the type of place that will make you into a regular quickly! The staff have always been friendly and sometimes even fun and they also show their skills and handle themselves very professionally. There is even a gentlemen there who has been around for years and his attention to...
You have to try this place when you're in Niagara falls. Food, service, and overall experience is great! All at a very reasonable price. The broasted chicken is a must-try. No breading, no extenders. If you miss Shakey's Mojo potatoes, the Broasted potato is the closest equivalent. This place should be your first option for breakfast. The owner was very kind and courteous. Gave me a lot of good suggestions of where to go before a blizzard hit, trapping both me and one other. He checked up on us and even brought lasagna since it was so difficult going out. Extremely kind owner and wonderful stay.
When we pulled up to this, we was really surprised at how close it is. It is literally right across the street from the aquarium. The park is a quick two minute drive. You could not ask to be any closer. The price was really reasonable. I booked a queen room with bunk beds and boy was I surprised by the room. I felt like we had our own little apartment. The rooms were huge. The worst part about this...
I enjoyed my stay here and I would recommend it to others. It is very affordable and the hostel is walking distance to the falls. The Amtrak train station is about 1 mile from the hostel. There is a nice nature trail that takes you there. When I arrived, the owner provided a lot of helpful information about Niagara Falls and his recommendations. He made change, and provided detergent for laundry....
Really enjoyed my stay at the Gorge View Hostel close to the falls and so much more. Owner was very helpful and had a great since of humor🤣 would differently stay again rooms were great with loads of space. The kitchen and common area was relaxing and enjoyable Thank you for everything just a great place to stay 😊 Hope to see you again someday
Great place to stay for Niagara Falls. Easy to check in and the rooms are nicer than a normal hostel based on space. Walking distance to the Falls and all public transportation options are very close too.
Great location, spacious room and heater works fine. The owner is really nice, his knowledge and hospitality are second to none. Highly recommend.

I visited back in 2015, and the hotel itself was very good, for the price! The location was also top-notch. The only downside was that the beds were quite hard, but maybe that has changed half a decade later. Also, how come it says it costs $893 to stay one night on Google Maps? That’s obviously incorrect, because the price was over $800 less from what I remember. Anyways, if you want a good location...
Great value for money. Booked this one for a last-minute visit to the Falls and got a great rate. Staff reached out to confirm arrival time, explained how to get the key (since we were arriving late after close of office hours) and was extremely friendly. Check-out was smooth (less than 20 seconds). Room was clean and the facilities were as described. Highly recommended.
We stayed here over the long weekend and we had a good experience! Clearly dated but quite neat and clean nonetheless. We had a minor issue with the bedding in the room upon arrival but as soon as we brought it to the attention of the staff the owner herself immediately came to rectify it and was very, very kind. Unfortunately, if internet is something you require I might reconsider staying here as...
I stay here every time I come to Niagara falls great prices, clean rooms, friendly staff and they just keep getting better. Its not a modern hotel but captures the old Niagara feel before the big casinos took over. Tip for a great breakfast go to Dad's Diner about a block away
This place is old, sheets looks relatively clean. Biggest issue for me was the slow internet. Also no slippers were provided. Probably never go again.

It's pretty good, close to the falls (about a 10-15 minute walk). The parking lot is also large. Overall, I'm quite satisfied, except the breakfast restaurant is a bit small. It gets crowded during Christmas. Overall, it's worth staying at; the location is comparable to larger hotels. Those with a large budget can ignore this.
The set up of the building is confusing if you’re not familiar with it the attendant on staff was little to no help . After explaining to him my elderly mother needed to get to her room , I asked twice for help , he showed very little kindness and no actual professionalism at all . The room was clean , air conditioning works well . Breakfast could use some fruit ? Nothing for a vegetarian.
Staff was very helpful especially with luggage storage.  Close to Canadian falls.  And attractions.
Just a short walk from the waterfall and near the ******. The surrounding area has plenty of restaurants but few supermarkets. Overall, it’s worth the price — the breakfast is good, and the staff provided good service.
It 's great price, great breakfast, If u would go to ****** , this hotel is the one choice to stay cause u just take a walk in 5 min to ******.
The hotel really needs to listen to its reviews. Most people have really damned them for being a dirty stinky cesspit of a venue but actually it is pretty amazing. I stayed one year back, but the experience was bit bad. The reception lady was good but the old Indian lady with glasses in the kitchen always stare your child and it looks too rude. You have to request them to clean your room. Overall 60% value for money.
It's not a bad place if you're just wanting a roof over your head and a HOT shower. Don't ask the front desk for anything, you will find ZERO help. And if your phone breaks, don't expect a wake-up call. However the cleaning staff is more than helpful and kind. Microwave, fridge, tv, and a bed. But for the price it's not bad. We had a few issues with this property, specifically our room. One of the tables in the living area was cracked almost in half. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud. Very nice place to stay in. Also nice receptionists. I love their muffins as well so yummy! Everything is good in this place. Very recommended!

Good location but bit higher priced. They give free breakfast, free parking. Its very close to Niagara river. There is a convenient store at walking distance which is an advantage. Its seems to be a family run Motel. The cleaning staff etc are supportive and quick to help. Good for short stay.
After a long drive from New York City, when I got there I was very tired and I couldn’t wait to check in and to relax in my king room with jacuzzi(114)! Super helpful check in, saved us lots of money with the tips we were given. Room was basic but clean. Great shower..water pressure is amazing! Beds comfortable, heat and air conditioning is quiet. Would recommend!
Clean, comfortable. Small room for two beds. No tissues in room. Free PW protected WiFi. Friendly staff. Tried two of their restaurant suggestions. Both were good choices.
Never judge a book by its cover. After recently commenting our dislike for Roadside motels, we were discouraged upon driving up to our reservation. The recently redone sink and bathroom brought comfort to our minds, and the large comfy king bed brought comfort to our bodies. We enjoyed our stay and left well rested.
Overall a decent place to stay. The rooms appear to have been renovated recently, with new decor to give it a fresh look. The bathroom did not appear to get the same treatment...
