Hampton Inn - Vancouver Airport/Richmond

I booked this hotel for the first night we were in Vancouver because it was close to the airport and I've stayed in the Hampton Inn in several cities in the US which have all been quite nice. Most of the employees were friendly and helpful. Parking is free and just outside the entrance to the hotel. Breakfast is complimentary with a variety of foods: cereal, bread, muffins, bagels, scrambled & boiled eggs, Canadian Bacon, waffles, pancakes, fruit, and juices. The dining area is large enough to accommodate many guests. There's also a beverage area that's available anytime for coffee and hot water for tea and hot chocolate. Your room key is required for accessing upper floors. A workout room is on the second floor. There's no restaurant on site, but several are nearby. As for the room, it was nice, but the beds were much too soft for me. For that reason I'd try a different hotel on my next visit.
Also, the light rail is a short drive away.

The experience here was delightful. The staff were friendly, rooms clean and was able to get a room upgrade. They had a paid shuttle to the cruise port and free shuttle from airport. Special touches was the apple cinnamon waffles and pineapple coconut water for breakfast. All made our stay enjoyable.

We had an excellent 4 night stay at this hotel and will gladly return in the future! The rooms were nice and the breakfast each morning was delicious. The location was also great being so close to the airport and within a 3min walk to the train station that will take you into downtown Vancouver. Lastly, the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating! We had an issue come up with the housekeeping services, but it was promptly rectified by the general manager.

Great location and very convenient airport shuttle. Room was comfortable with everything you needed. Breakfast had great options and coffee. Staff were very friendly, let us check out late, store our luggage and use the shuttle back to the airport. Very quick walk to the skytrain to get to downtown Vancouver. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay for 1 night, called them at 11pm and the free shuttle was waiting at the terminal for us, scheduled our return shuttle for the next morning to catch our whistler bus. Free breakfast and it was pretty good. Rooms were nice and beds were big. Not really sure why all the bad reviews.
