Inn at Laurel Point

My room was not cleaned. I found out in the afternoon and informed the hotel, but they did not tell me that the cleaner had gone off duty. I had to go to the front desk to ask for new towels. The service was zero.

We wanted to love our stay, but unfortunately we were disappointed. We chose this hotel because it was our first get away as parents without our daughter, and thought it sounded lovely with the views and amenities.

We stayed two nights. The room had a great view, but the room itself was dated. We also weren’t told at check in that there was no housekeeping for those who stay less than three nights, so when we came back from a day of site seeing our morning room service dishes were all still there.

The alarm was set by the previous guest for 6 am and woke us up- we were unable to go back to sleep. This was so disappointing as parents who were so excited to sleep in! You could also hear every conversation of people walking by in the hallway.

The staff were lovely and room service was good, but overall it felt like a lower budget hotel than what it advertises itself as.
