Unfortunately there are little or no backup emergency systems at this hotel. The power went out in a snow storm and we were without heat, light or restaurant from early evening till morning. The room quickly got cold and we were stuck sitting in a pitch black room. The balcony door and windows were drafty and rattled in the wind. Staff tried their best to make the situation better but the hotel truly showed it's age.

Older hotel & the free breakfast is in the sorta Italian restaurant. You use coupons for the free breakfast. Toilet ran constantly. (We took the top off so we could pop the rubber thing down to stop it.
Didn't know the big difference in this Holiday Inn from the newer one at the airport! What a difference! If we return, we know which one to stay at NOW!

Pool is absolutely freezing!!!! Our room was great but booked for the pool/water slide that we found out only ran Friday night, Saturday and Sunday!

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The one bad thing about our stay was a running toilet. Easy fix, we kept the lid off to keep it quiet. THAT was the only thing negative, of course, there was the cold wet weather that couldn't be helped.

Needs some updating. Cleaning was an issue. The hallways were discussing. I advised the front desk and they did nothing for the three days we were there. Instead they sent someone to my room to clean when I specifically requested no one enter. Not very attentive to guest requests. They just ignore and do what they want.

I loved the rooms and the reception was very friendly and helpful but the free breakfast was cold. The toast was hard and still white, the hash round thing almost broke my teeth when I bit into it. Could only get scrambled eggs and they were also hard and cold. No options, no refill of coffee offered . I passed many tables yet to be cleared and no one ate the eggs or 'toast'.
The waitress was embarrassed and I felt sorry for her having to serve it.

It's a quiet and clean hotel. When I am for business always stay there. The new management has to improve the speed of the internet although not very bad.

Clean and spacious room. The front staff was friendly and attended to my needs. The attached East Side Mario's restaurant is a bonus
